I visited a popular spice curry restaurant called "Aabel Curry" located right in front of Kujo Station in Osaka! This place is always crowded, especially during lunch hours on weekdays, with people lining up even before it opens. I happened to have a weekday off and arrived before opening time. Despite being 15 minutes before opening, there were already 3 groups waiting in line! We entered the restaurant as soon as it opened at 12:00 and placed our order. It took about 20 minutes for the food to arrive, but that's because they cook it fresh after you order. The curry was absolutely delicious! We ordered two types of curry: Aabel Chicken Curry and the weekly special (Iwate Duck Miso Curry). Both dishes were visually appealing and made with expertly blended spices, resulting in a depth of flavor within the spiciness. It's no wonder this place is so popular! I devoured the curry in no time because it was that good. I personally think it's worth waiting for this curry. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

On a hot day, I felt like having curry for lunch, so I searched for a curry restaurant. I found a highly rated curry restaurant near Kujo Station, which suited my afternoon work schedule. I visited the restaurant, which was located on the 3rd floor of a building right next to the station. Despite arriving early, there was already a line of about 10 people. The menu offered a choice between two types of curry: chicken or a special curry of the week, which I think was probably lamb. I ordered the combination of both curries with an egg topping, rice, and extra curry sauce. It was delicious. The curries were a bit spicy, especially the special curry, which was quite hot. I enjoy spicy food, so it was fine for me.

When you're feeling a bit under the weather or want to boost your energy, I recommend trying the spice curry at "Aabel Curry," a spice curry restaurant located near Kujo Station. It's on the 3rd floor of a building, and you have to take the stairs to get there. There are 5 counter seats and 9 table seats, so you might have to wait a bit if you go at a busy time. Luckily, we were able to get in without waiting. I ordered the Aabel Chicken Curry and two types of weekly curry. The weekly curry this week was Shimagatsuo and Green Bean Masala. It comes with side dishes like dal, kachumbar, raita, papad, subji, and achar. You can also add extras like spiced egg or the daily achar. The spice curry looks like a universe on a plate, and it's exciting to dig in. You can eat each curry separately or mix them together. There was a guide on how to eat the thin papad like a cracker. Now, let's dig in. On the right side is the Aabel Chicken Curry, and on the left is the Shimagatsuo and Green Bean Masala. It's refreshing to have curry made with seasonal fish. The spices give it a kick, but it's not overly spicy. It's fun to taste all the different flavors! It feels like I'm getting a lot of veggies in too! And the optional biryani. The Mussels Biryani was made with basmati rice. I only had a bite, but it was delicious! They also sell a Chicken Curry Spice Kit and a Craft Cola Spice Mix. The Craft Cola is also spiced, which I like because it's addictively unique. It might be fun to try spice cooking at home. The world of spices is deep, so be careful if you get hooked. Despite being in a building with only stairs, the restaurant has a surprisingly calm atmosphere. I'm full now. Thank you for the meal.

I had always wanted to go to Aabel Curry. It was a holiday, but they were open for special hours, so I finally made it there at 12 o'clock when they opened, but there was a long line...!! I waited for 2 hours and was finally seated at 2 o'clock. Amazing. The interior of the restaurant is full of exotic vibes and has a great atmosphere. I ordered the mixed curry (large size) with soft shell shrimp in achar spices. The curry was spicy, but for those who love spicy curry, it's irresistible...! The daily special curry with beef tongue was also delicious and tender. I was able to eat the shrimp heads in the achar as well! The more you chew, the more the flavor of the shrimp comes out. I could eat it endlessly. They change up the daily specials and I would love to go back, but they are only open during weekdays in the daytime, so it's hard to find the right timing... If I can make it, I will definitely go back again.

Took a day off on Friday for a three-day weekend theater expedition in Osaka. Arrived at Shin-Osaka Station before 1pm and decided to stop by a spice curry restaurant near Kujo Station on the Osaka subway Chuo Line, even though it was a bit out of the way. The restaurant is closed on weekends and holidays, so I wanted to make good use of my Friday off. Climbed the narrow, steep stairs of an old mixed-use building up to the 3rd floor and waited a bit before entering. The cafe-like interior was relaxing. Started by sitting at the counter facing the window at the back of the restaurant, then moved to a table when one became available. The attentive service was much appreciated. Ordered the Abel Chicken Curry and the weekly special curry, along with a spiced egg on the side. The weekly special was Masala with pork belly cartilage and nagaimo (Chinese yam), inspired by Indian thalis and combining Indian spices and cooking methods with seasonal Japanese ingredients. The unique one-plate dish was a delightful mix of various side dishes and complex spices. The pork belly cartilage had a firm texture that contrasted nicely with the thick nagaimo, while the classic chicken curry had a solid structure without being too heavy or overpowering. The spiciness was mild yet satisfying, and overall, the meal was very enjoyable. Highly recommended. #Osaka #Kujo #AbelCurry #Curry #SpiceCurry #curry #AbelChickenCurry #PorkBellyCartilageandNagaimoMasala

I recently had the opportunity to visit Kujou, a place I haven't been to in a while. When I arrived before the opening hours, I saw more than 10 people lined up at an angle of the staircase that I rarely see. Inside, I topped my dish with spicy eggs. The daily special was eel curry. There were many side dishes on the menu, but I couldn't tell which was which, haha. However, everything was delicious, so I definitely want to go back again. I sweated a lot.

The spiciness was just right for me! I also like the regular Abel chicken curry, but I preferred the weekly special veal and eggplant masala curry. I would like to try something different next time. However, it felt like a typical spice curry restaurant... The friendliness of the female staff was the best part!

Osaka, Kujo [#AabelCurry] ☑︎ 2 types of curry combination ☑︎ Spiced egg ☑︎ Lamb Biryani (mini) ------------------------------ On days when the low pressure is too much to handle, inject some spice. This week's curry is veal Leedvoo and eggplant masala. The veal is incredibly tender and pairs well with the diced eggplant. I opted for the mini biryani instead of extra curry, and it was packed with spices. I got to try chicken, beef, and mutton, so I am very satisfied. It was another amazing week - thank you for the meal. ▫️Aabel Curry ▫️1-25-9 Kujo, Osaka, Osaka ▫️Instagram: @aabellcurry ----------------------------------- #Osaka #OsakaGourmet #OsakaCurry #KujoGourmet #CurryStagram #FoodStagram #GourmetStagram #FoodWalking #FoodDiary #WantToConnectWithPeopleWhoLoveEating #WantToConnectWithCurryLovers #Curry #CurryRice #curry #CurryLovers #SpicyCurry

Lunch out today. I rarely go to Kujo, but went there today. Climbed up the steep 3rd floor of a mixed-use building in front of Kujo Station. I ordered the weekly special (lamb and zucchini) and chicken combo with egg topping for 1,250 yen. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The presentation is beautiful~ The default side dish, Achar, has a chewy texture and is delicious. The curry is quite spicy, so there may be people who don't like it. I personally like it because there's no strange aftertaste after eating ❤️

I couldn't wait to visit the curry restaurant #Aabel Curry because it was closed on weekends and Mondays, which didn't fit my schedule. However, today marks the start of Golden Week holidays (10 consecutive days off), so I finally got to fulfill my wish to visit. Today's menu included the classic Aabel Chicken Curry and the weekly special curry (Beef Shimacho and Norabou Greens Masala), with an additional order of Maguro Tail Achaar. The Aabel Chicken Curry was sweeter than expected, while the weekly special curry was on the spicier side. Both curries had a thinner consistency, which was a nice contrast. Mixing them with the side dishes enhanced the flavors even more. The Chicken Curry, in particular, was a stable and delicious choice that I would recommend to anyone. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, good service, and it was easy to see why it was popular.

The weekly curry was made with the tail of bigeye tuna. It was a spicy curry with a strong tuna flavor. It was the type of curry where you mix the side dishes with the main curry to change the taste. It had a lot of spices, and the cardamom that you could occasionally taste was impressive. It was spicy, but not overwhelmingly hot. Even if you're not a fan of spicy food, I think this curry is relatively easy to eat. While spice curry is meant to be enjoyed for its spices, personally, I prefer curries with a richer flavor.

Chicken curry and sardine and tomato curry with a topping of pickled mackerel. It's always delicious no matter how many times I eat it. It packs a punch every time. There's no fishy smell from the sardines, and the combination of tomato and chicken curry is excellent. Mixing it with the side dishes, you can enjoy different flavors with each bite. I also love the restaurant Aabel Curry.

I ordered chicken curry and mutton curry. Both were very delicious and had a strong spice flavor. The mutton curry was particularly spicy, while the chicken curry was easier to eat. Both the mutton and chicken were tender and had no unpleasant texture.

This time the special was normal chicken and the weekly special was lamb. The spiced eggs seem to be popular so I want to try them next time. The spiciness was just right and delicious, although the portion was a bit small. You can get a large portion for an extra 100 yen, but I was quite full after finishing the meal.

I finally had the chance to visit Abel Curry, which is famous for its limited weekday hours. It's not easy to go to Kujyo on a weekday, but I finally got the opportunity. I ordered the egg and ai-gake curry. It was a bit spicy but delicious. The rice crackers were also crispy and tasty. The flavors all blended together perfectly. It's just so delicious. The taste doesn't get boring, so as I write this review, I'm already craving it again.

The curry was delicious with two types of curry and a side of spiced egg. The Abel Chicken Curry and Horse Meat and Purple Turnip Masala were both great. The side dishes included Kidney Bean Mixed Dal, Cachunbar Lemon Spice, Green Bean Subji, Paprika Raita, Chinese Cabbage Achar, and Papad. The curry had a strong spice punch and rich umami flavor, with a good level of spiciness that doesn't linger. The chicken and horse meat were chunky and tasty. The variety of side dishes was good, although I wished for a sweet side dish. Overall, it was a satisfying and delicious curry experience! The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and good service. If you go after 1 pm, you may not have to wait in line to eat!

Recently, there has been a trend of spice curry, and popular spice curry restaurants are increasing in Osaka. One of these popular spots is Aabel Curry. Located inside a mixed-use building, you can't see inside from the outside. As you start climbing the stairs, you'll notice people waiting, so you'll have to line up. While waiting in line, you can't see the restaurant on the upper floor, so you wonder what it's like inside. But when people who have finished eating come down talking about how delicious it was, your expectations rise. Once you reach the top of the stairs and sit down, you look at the menu to decide what to order. The weekly special and chicken curry combination curry looked delicious, so I ordered that. The plate arrived with various items topped with the spice curry. The side dishes were also very tasty. The weekly special curry was made with beef chuck flap and spinach masala. It was cooked to perfection, with the ingredients tender and the spice level just right. The menu changes weekly, so I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat a curry with a strong spice flavor after a long time, so I decided to go to the popular Aabel Curry, where there is always a line. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Friday, and their Chicken Curry and weekly special curry combo is very popular. The restaurant is located right near Hankyu or Subway Kujo Station. Nearby, you can also find the casual French restaurant Oono. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor, up a slightly steep staircase. I arrived 5 minutes before the 12:00 opening time, and there were already 4 people waiting in line, even though it was a weekday. At 12:00, they started letting in customers one by one. This time, I was lucky to only wait for 5 minutes before being seated, which was quite fortunate. The restaurant is small and has a stylish and casual atmosphere with lots of greenery, giving it a cafe-like feel. There are 4 counter seats facing the window at the back of the restaurant, and there are also two 2-person tables and one 4-person table. By a little after 12:00, the restaurant was already full, and a line started forming outside. However, by 12:30, there was a turnover, and people were able to enter smoothly. The lunch hours are from Tuesday to Friday, from 12:00 to 14:30 (last order), but they may close early if they run out of food. The menu includes the Aabel Chicken Curry and the weekly special curry combo for 1,150 yen, and the Aabel Chicken Curry alone for 1,050 yen. Side dishes like dal, kachumber, raita, subji, achar, and papad are included. I ordered the Chicken Curry and the weekly special curry combo. The weekly special was "Beef Kalbi and Spinach Masala" this week. The curry was served beautifully after a short wait. The Aabel Chicken Curry had large chunks of chicken in a mild and creamy sauce with a hint of spices. The Chicken Curry was flavorful and had a nice balance of spices. The chicken was tender and went well with the spicy curry. The weekly special curry was rich and flavorful, with tender beef kalbi and a strong spice flavor. The beef was cooked perfectly and added a deep richness to the curry. The spinach added a nice sweetness to the dish. The curry was spicy and delicious, making it hard to stop eating. The turmeric rice was firm and paired well with the spicy curry. The side dishes included papad, which was crispy and savory, and a variety of other delicious dishes.
