uma-jiro
Hello, this is uma-jiro. This time, I visited Yamasen Musou Rekka Joto in Kamio, Joto-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. The location is near Kamio Yonchome Station on the Osaka Metro Tsurumi-Ryokuchi Line. The sign outside says "Yamagata Ramen" ... Yamagata Ramen in Osaka. Sounds good, right? When you enter, there is a ticket machine. They offer various options like Hikarimaze soba, Rekka Hikarimaze soba, Tori Chuka, Spicy Miso Ramen (miso, soy sauce), Rekka Ramen, Chuka Soba, Four Kinds of Seafood Shoyu Ramen, Noko Ramen, Rekka Tsukemen, Noko Tsukemen, Chuka Tsukemen, Cold Meat Soba, and more. I was curious about Yamagata's local ramen dishes like Yamagata Tori Chuka and Yamagata Spicy Miso Ramen. They also have a variety of toppings, rice, mini katsudon, gyoza, karaage, etc. On the table, there are condiments like E-chan's Ume Konbu Vinegar, black pepper, gyoza sauce, chili oil, tamago kake gohan sauce, and more for flavoring the ramen. The interior has a counter with 10 seats and 4 table seats. It is run by two men and two women. The background music is Japanese music. I ordered the "Yamagata Hikarimaze Soba" (920 yen). It is an arrangement of Yamagata's Hikarimaze udon in ramen form. It took about 7 minutes for the dish to arrive. The process is very quick and efficient. It consists of chopped seaweed, green onions, egg yolk, spicy miso, natto, mackerel, sauce, medium-thick noodles, and rice. The combination of natto and mackerel is very unique and interesting. The recommended way to enjoy Hikarimaze soba is to mix it well. I mix the sauce and ingredients at the bottom of the bowl before eating. Mixing before eating adds an extra touch that stimulates the appetite. The warm aroma of the sauce at the bottom when mixed is delightful. The taste of mackerel, spicy miso ball, and the sliminess of natto complement each other very well. Natto goes surprisingly well with ramen. Midway through eating, I added Ume Konbu Vinegar for a tangy and flavorful kick. It was delicious and refreshing. It's like getting two delicious experiences in one bowl. The amount of rice in the small bowl is just right. I mixed the leftover ingredients and rice and added Ume Konbu Vinegar once more. It was delicious and refreshing, leaving a satisfying aftertaste. It's like enjoying two delicious experiences in one meal. The customers around me seemed to be ordering Rekka Ramen, Cold Meat Soba, and Hikarimaze Soba. I discovered a new ramen dish. It might change your perception of ramen. Next time, I'd like to try the Spicy Miso Ramen or Cold Meat Soba. Thank you for the meal. This was uma-jiro.
