This is a bento shop located in Nakajima-cho, Muroran City. They offer delivery for orders of 550 yen or more, starting from just one item, which is very generous. They are more affordable and convenient compared to shops in Sapporo. They do not have a parking lot. From 11 am to 2 pm, they offer a monthly rotating selection of two lunch bento sets. They also offer tonkatsu, shrimp tempura, fried chicken, ginger pork, and meat and vegetable stir-fry bento sets starting from 650 yen. The nori bento is very cheap at 450 yen. Unlike chain bento shops, their bento boxes have a homemade deliciousness to them.

I like the fact that this bento shop is not a chain store and is located a bit off the main street. There is a poster of Takanoyume rice from Lake Toya, showing that they are particular about their rice. I ordered a nori bento, which comes with potato salad. The rice and side dishes are separated, not mixed together. After placing my order, I waited for a bit and could hear the sound of frying. When the timer went off, I received my warm bento, which made me feel a bit warmer in this cold weather. I thought about taking the warm bento with me a bit longer before heading home, but the sunlight inside the Higashi-Muroran Station was so nice that I decided to join some fellow travelers on a bench and eat my bento. The bench faced outside where we could see trains coming and going. The sunlight was comforting, making the ordinary bench look radiant. Eating the bento on my lap, the side dishes didn't seem homemade but the rice was delicious.

The storefront of a bento shop in Nakajima-cho, Muroran City, Hokkaido looks small and unassuming, so I never thought to visit. Compared to a certain chain store, the menu is limited, but there are actually quite a variety of options available. The interior of the shop is clean, and in the busy kitchen at the back, there are about four staff members working, indicating that the shop is quite popular. They seem to put effort into their lunch menu, offering a 500 yen service lunch! I couldn't tell the portion size from the photos, but it seems like a good deal! The meat and vegetable stir-fry bento I had was delicious with a sweet and savory flavor. The menu mentioned that "oyster sauce is the key," which makes sense. They seem to pay attention to the seasoning. I was impressed by the wide variety of dishes on the menu. The bento was quite filling, and I enjoyed every last bite without leaving any rice. I might have found a new favorite spot. I'll definitely go back again.
