There were no other customers, and it felt lonely. The menu had a lot of options. I ordered the ankake yakisoba and pork chop. The pork chop came first, and then after a while, the ankake yakisoba arrived. I had to ask for the ankake yakisoba to be remade. The flavors of both dishes were just average, like home-cooked meals. The pork chop was tough. The ankake yakisoba had a large portion size and various ingredients. They served vinegar in a regular bottle and cheap mustard as is, which gave me a sense of the restaurant's style. I randomly chose this restaurant, and this time it was a disappointment.

I visited the restaurant around 12:30 on a weekday. It is a diner in front of JR Toyako Station, but there were no customers. I felt a bit disappointed as soon as I entered. I ordered the specialty dish, Ankake Yakisoba for 950 yen, as it was advertised on the wall menu. When it was brought to me, it reminded me of the Ankake Yakisoba from Sanpei in Oshamanbe because of its generous portion. It seemed to have plenty of seafood in it. However, the noodles were thin and soft, which was a bit disappointing. The taste of the ankake sauce was also lacking in flavor.

I am at Toya Station, waiting to transfer to Sapporo by JR, with about an hour to spare. It's a bit early for lunch, but I decide to go into "Izusu Shokudo" across from the station. The restaurant has an old-fashioned diner atmosphere, with a TV on the wall and two ladies running the place. I am the only customer, so I sit at a table for four. I order the "Oyakodon @850" from the menu on the wall, and it arrives surprisingly quickly in just five minutes. The bowl comes with miso soup and three slices of pickled radish. I lift the lid off the bowl to reveal chicken, onions, and green onions, with chopped green onions on top for some reason. The miso soup has a sweet taste, not too salty, and the ingredients are simple but comforting. The broth is not very strong, but the saltiness is just right. I finish the meal quickly and leave. The restaurant has a parking lot on the side, making it convenient for a quick meal. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.
