Visited for dinner. I was in Iwanai town for work. Ordered 'draft beer', 'shimesaba sashimi', '3 pork skewers', and '3 heart skewers' for starters. The skewers are delicious! Just with these, the beer goes down smoothly. Added 'draft beer', 'crab cream croquette', and 'hiyayakko'. The crab cream croquette is incredibly delicious. This also goes well with alcohol. Everything tastes great when it's freshly made! If I have the chance, I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

The sashimi and ingredients are said to be large and famous. I went to Iwanai for work alone, so I couldn't handle the large portion. But since it was a famous restaurant, I wanted to try it. When I arrived around 6 pm, all the counter seats were taken by regular customers. All the table seats were empty. Normally, I wouldn't be able to sit at a table alone. "It's okay today because it's not busy," they said. Maybe they hesitated because I was alone. I ordered a chirashi bowl where you can adjust the amount of rice. I asked for about half the usual amount of rice. While waiting for it to be ready, I had a draft beer. After that, the phone kept ringing with reservations from customers. They showed me the amount of rice to confirm before serving. It was polite and made me happy. Now, the sashimi was thickly sliced and had a good volume. It was fresh and delicious. It takes courage to go into a small izakaya in a small town alone for the first time. But it was a fun experience. It had been 25 years since I last visited Iwanai. I think the chances of going again are quite low, so I'm glad I mustered up the courage to go in.

To-san mainly sits at the counter and seems to handle the sashimi. Ka-san is in charge of cooking, constantly frying something at very high temperatures. Ane-go is the waitress♪ By the way, it's O-chan's favorite spot. Oh, there's a rare "Isojiman" shochu highball(= ´∀´)ノ凵゛. They say there's no beginning...? Still in season, the fresh sanma sashimi is reasonably priced with a generous portion and melts in your mouth with fatty goodness, served with ginger and ichimi soy sauce. The Zangi is huge with 4 pieces, not inferior to "hanshinage". The crispy coating and juicy, tender meat that oozes out when you bite into it is just right with a strong flavor. The amount, taste, cost performance, and satisfaction are all top-notch. The tako kara is generously portioned with a crunchy coating and chewy, well-seasoned octopus legs that do not disappoint.
