I had some business near the National Stadium and wanted to have lunch when I happened to find a restaurant with a sign that said "Arabic Cuisine." The interior was clean and spacious, adorned with paintings that evoked the Middle East. Since it was lunchtime, there were only a few customers when I entered, but quite a few people came in afterwards to enjoy Middle Eastern dishes. I was a bit indecisive about what to order, but I eventually chose the "Middle Eastern Plate," which allows you to enjoy a variety of dishes, along with "Koshari" topped with soft-boiled egg and cheese, and "Hummus," a chickpea paste. The hummus was not at all bean-like in taste and paired well with olive oil. The Middle Eastern Plate was a fantastic deal, allowing you to enjoy eight different types of Middle Eastern cuisine in one dish. Everything was delicious, but lamb lovers would particularly enjoy it. The Middle Eastern Plate is available on weekdays from 3 PM and from lunchtime on weekends and holidays. Along with the dishes, the staff brought two types of sauces: a tangy "Dakka" and a spicy "Shatta." Koshari, Egypt's national dish, might taste a bit bland on its own, featuring rice with macaroni, chickpeas, and lentils topped with fried onions and tomato sauce, but when you add Dakka and Shatta, the flavors become incredibly complex. These sauces were great! Shatta, in particular, complemented other dishes well. By the way, Koshari consists of rice mixed with macaroni and short pasta, chickpeas, and lentils, different from pilaf, fried rice, or baked rice. The flavor from the tomato sauce is pronounced and delicious. We also enjoyed a glass each of red and white wine, which included Middle Eastern wines from Tunisia and Egypt. I had the impression that people in that region don't drink alcohol, so I was surprised to find wine available. Both wines were delightful, but the red wine from Tunisia stood out with its spicy and unique flavor. Unexpectedly, I had a highly satisfying meal, making for a fulfilling lunch. Thank you for the wonderful food!

I love international cuisine, and I recently tried some Middle Eastern food, which I'm not very familiar with! I immediately decided on a Middle Eastern platter because it looked like I could try various dishes. I also ordered a juice with lemon and mint. The platter included koshari, pita bread, and falafel, which provided a great balance of vegetables and protein. Being someone who loves chickpeas, lamb, and all kinds of spices, I was thrilled! Personally, my favorites were the koshari and falafel. The falafel had a perfect crunchy coating that made me want to eat more! The koshari was delicious on its own, but when I added the tangy sauce and the spicy sauce, I couldn't stop eating; it's highly addictive! The restaurant itself was bright and spacious, making it easy to dine alone. Just be cautious at night, as the surrounding area gets quite dark, and you might get lost (I ended up going around in circles). Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Today, I stopped by this restaurant to kill some time before the concert. It has a spacious interior with terrace seating, and like many places now, it uses a QR code system for ordering through smartphones, but they still brought a physical menu as well. You can complete the payment on your phone, but I found it a bit cumbersome to enter my card details, so I opted for traditional payment instead. I ordered a cake and coffee set. While there wasn't anything particularly special about it, the taste and price were reassuringly reliable. Sometimes, that's exactly what you need without having to think too much. What stood out to me was the menu selection. They offered a lot of halal options, ranging from classic hummus to camel meat, which was quite an interesting lineup. Next time, I want to try the camel steak, as there are many intriguing items on the menu. It made me reflect that after exploring various places, perhaps this type of restaurant is where I ultimately end up. I look forward to coming back when I have more time and a bigger appetite.

The restaurant is located within the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, just a three-minute walk from Sendagaya Station. The interior is spacious and usually not crowded. I always choose to have koshari when I visit. Koshari is a national dish of Egypt made from a mix of rice, macaroni, pasta, and beans, topped with a spicy tomato sauce and crispy fried onions. This time, I added a soft-boiled egg and cheese from the secret menu. It comes with a salad and soup for 1000 yen. The flavor is slightly spicy and delicious. I like to add a bit of acidity to it. The dish is carbohydrate-rich and not exceptionally delicious, but I find myself wanting to eat it again! The restaurant is large, clean, and quiet, and when the sun is shining, the big windows give a refreshing feeling. It's a great spot to relax for a bit.

I went for lunch in the area between Sendagaya and Jingumae, which is famous for its curry shops, but this time I wanted to try Egyptian cuisine for the first time. I chose a place that had various Middle Eastern dishes. The sign outside the restaurant mentioned that their "Middle Eastern Plate" had gone viral on X, but since it wasn't listed on the menu when I scanned the QR code to order with my smartphone, I decided to stick to my original choice of Herbed Chicken Koshari. My meal was served in just a few minutes, and it included a salad and soup, which were simply potato salad and consomme soup. The Koshari itself had regular rice cooked with finely chopped macaroni, topped with tomato sauce, fried onions, and chickpeas, along with the herbed chicken that was tender and well-flavored. They also provided spicy sauce (shatta) and sour sauce (da'a) for additional flavoring, which I mixed in little by little. The taste was primarily tomato-based with a refreshing acidity, and while the spicy sauce wasn't very hot, the sour sauce added a lovely touch. I ordered a regular size, but I could easily have gone for a large portion due to its lightness. Next time, I’d like to try the recommended avocado sour cream. There are many other dishes on the menu as well. Thank you for the meal!

I heard that Middle Eastern cuisine is rare, so after watching the marathon at the National Stadium, I decided to check it out. They had drinks from the Middle East, but pretty much anything else you could think of as well. For food, they offered lamb or camel kebabs, and there were also dumpling-like dishes and chicken. It seemed like a fun place for lunch too.

The Middle Eastern restaurant located near Tokyo Gymnasium has been open for just over a year. It is quite spacious and very open, with a small terrace seating area. This day, I was working from home. While returning home with a colleague who had dined with me the night before, he mentioned he was also working from home and suggested we have lunch together. I gladly agreed, and we arranged to meet in the lobby at 11:40 the next day. Since we both live in the same building, I asked him if he knew about the restaurant, and indeed, he did not. We walked there in light rain. While the restaurant likely has many customers during events at Tokyo Gymnasium, it tends to be quiet on weekday afternoons. This unique cuisine might be a reason for that. Upon entering the restaurant, we placed our orders by scanning a QR code, and my colleague took the lead in doing that. We both ordered the large serving of Herb Chicken Koshary for 1,000 yen, which is quite reasonable. A small salad and soup were served first. I had previously visited the restaurant twice, both times enjoying Koshary. This dish is very popular in Egypt, consisting of rice with short-cut macaroni mixed with beans, topped with tomato sauce and sautéed onions. It’s neither fried rice nor pilaf. This time, the dish was a different variation, but it was just as delicious as before. The acidity of the tomato sauce was delightful. I took pieces of the herb chicken with a spoon and mixed it with the rice. The macaroni added a nice accent. The large serving was substantial but not overwhelming; a regular serving would have been plenty. For 1,000 yen, it was a great deal. It was also nice that the dish wasn’t spicy at all. My colleague said, “This is my first time trying something like this. It’s pretty good,” expressing his approval. The restaurant serves Middle Eastern cuisine, but it is not strictly "halal," mainly because they serve alcohol. However, they do not offer pork. This is because observant Muslims avoid any cooking utensils that have been used for pork, even if they have been cleaned. In other words, even if a pot used for pork is thoroughly washed and used for other dishes, they still wouldn't eat from it. That said, it seems they do offer halal and vegetarian options as well. The restaurant is large, with a course menu that includes all-you-can-drink options, so it seems like a great place to order various items and enjoy them with a group.

On a rainy weekday afternoon, I had Middle Eastern cuisine in Sendagaya. The atmosphere was very nice, and the staff was handsome and provided great service. I ordered the herb chicken koshari, which I had no idea what it was. Both regular and large sizes cost the same, at 1000 yen, and it came with soup and salad. The dish was a mixed rice with a strong tomato flavor. I was advised to mix it well with the chili sauce and a sour sauce before eating. I followed the instructions and finished the meal. It was delicious!

One of the main features of this restaurant is that they offer koshari, known as Egypt's national dish, on their grand menu. Koshari is a dish made with macaroni, long-grain rice, and pasta, topped with tomato sauce and fried onions. At first, you might wonder what it is, but as you eat, it becomes strangely addictive. The vinegar and chili sauce really enhance the flavors. Whenever I crave koshari, I come here.

After the pool, I was curious about this cafe. They even have some rare Middle Eastern beer, so I decided to visit. I ordered a protein bowl, which was packed with protein, and also tried their unique Middle Eastern hamburger made with lamb. It was delicious. And enjoying the beer was the cherry on top...✨ I'm really glad I pay taxes in Tokyo.

I made a reservation and visited the café located within the Tokyo Gymnasium before an event. I had my heart set on having an acai bowl, but unfortunately, it was sold out that day. The café offers a limited café set (a dessert and a drink) from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and since I wanted to try something Middle Eastern, I discovered they had baklava on the menu. I ordered hibiscus tea as my drink. I also got a side of spiced potato fries to share with a friend. Baklava is a Turkish dessert made of layers of pastry filled with nuts and soaked in butter syrup. It was quite sweet, so I was glad I didn't order a sweet drink. The spiced potato fries were just right, and we finished them quickly. I appreciated that I could place my order and pay from my phone, making it very convenient. The staff was friendly, and we were able to relax the whole time. For those visiting before the event (especially women), please note that there is only one restroom stall, which created a line right before the event. The restroom and washbasin are adjacent, and the space is quite cramped, so when I came out of the stall, someone was doing their makeup, which made it awkward to wash my hands.

In Sendagaya, there's an Arabic restaurant located above the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. Their koshari is really delicious. The meat dishes during dinner time are also very tasty, but today I just had the koshari. It contains rice, short pasta, and crispy flakes, all topped with tomato paste. The portion is moderate, but with all the different carbohydrates and the tomato sauce, it makes for a filling meal. It's the kind of flavor that women love! There are nights when they have belly dance shows, but it's always packed. I hope to see a belly dance performance someday!

In the bustling city oasis of Joyko, it's only fitting that meeting spots double as restaurants featuring global cuisine. I’ve been wanting to visit the Arabian Restaurant & Cafe Bar Oasis, which opened last year in Sendagaya, and I finally made it! It's a sibling establishment to the Koshari specialty restaurant Koshari-ya Copy in Kinshicho. I was curious about what this restaurant would be like. Located right next to the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, I was surprised to find a restaurant in such a place. The interior was spacious, providing plenty of room to open up my laptop, making it a perfect spot for meetings. Since it was a thunderstorm day, there were not many customers, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is rich with options focusing on koshari, along with tajines, kebabs, and desserts. 1. Middle Eastern Plate - 1800 yen 2. 5 Camel Kebabs - 2000 yen 3. Baba Ghanoush - 440 yen 4. Chicken and Potato Lemon Tajine - 1300 yen 5. Mahallabia - 330 yen 6. Om Ali - 550 yen 7. Sobya - 440 yen It was a great place to casually enjoy Middle Eastern and Arabian cuisine. The spaciousness also allowed for a leisurely time. I believe even those who aren’t particularly interested in global cuisine will enjoy this restaurant! If you're curious about world cuisine in Japan, love poems are included.

There are many flavors here that you can't find in Japan, which really stimulated my appetite and made everything delicious! There are so many unique menu items that it’s perfect for gathering with friends to say, "I wonder what this tastes like!? I want to try it!" The herb chicken koshari was especially delicious and left a lasting impression on me! There are still many more flavors I want to learn about, so I definitely want to come back even just for lunch!

◎I visited around 8:30 PM on a weekday without a reservation. ◎The cafe is right next to the National Stadium, so it seems bustling on event days; however, on non-event days, it’s quite calm. Since I went a bit late, there were only 2 or 3 other groups of customers. ◎It’s a peaceful space where you can have a nice conversation. ◎The staff were very friendly, and their smiles were delightful. ◎I ordered the pistachio Mont Blanc and iced tea. The filling of the Mont Blanc was slightly different from the usual ones, with a cream that resembled white cheese or whipped cream, packed inside. It had a cookie crust at the bottom. It was sweet and paired nicely with the iced tea. I also found out that they have a special cafe time on weekdays during lunchtime when you can enjoy it for 880 yen.

The interior has more of a beautiful café vibe than an Arabian atmosphere. I was curious about the tagine menu, but there was a note mentioning it takes a while to prepare, and since I was quite hungry, I ordered the Oasis Meat Plate. I placed my order using a QR code, and the payment could be completed from my seat. When the plate arrived, it was filled with a variety of dishes, all emitting a unique aroma of spices. The lamb kebab and hummus, in particular, were delicious. There were still many tempting items on the dessert menu, like a syrup-soaked pie, that caught my interest. I look forward to trying them on my next visit.

After my workout, I really wanted protein and vitamins, but I couldn't find anything nearby despite searching. Just as I was about to give up and head home, I stumbled upon this restaurant. It seemed to be an Arabian restaurant with many unique menu items. I ordered the "Protein Special Bowl," which would probably cost around ¥2000 elsewhere due to its generous portion. The simple seasoning really suited my taste at that moment. I would love to try other dishes at this place as well.

I visited the restaurant before watching a rugby game at the National Stadium, and it was very helpful that I could make a reservation for lunch. There were many unusual dishes that got me really excited. I tried the koshari, and it was delicious. The dessert, which was a pastry soaked in milk, was also tasty. The restaurant is spacious, and the restrooms are clean. They even had a dog menu, so I wonder if dogs are allowed on the terrace? I will definitely visit again.

I managed to make a reservation at the only place available for lunch at 2:30, even though it seemed impossible. To be honest, an Arabian restaurant? Hmm, I was quite hesitant, but after getting the approval of three ladies and my husband, we decided to embark on this adventure together! To my surprise, the interior was not the mysterious atmosphere I expected; instead, it felt like a sleek, stylish café reminiscent of a coworking space. I soon felt completely at ease and started placing our orders. The ordering system was a QR code format, and I accidentally made a mistake, but the staff graciously helped me correct it multiple times, and we finally got everything sorted. Thank you! The food was quite substantial, but it had no strong flavors and was incredibly delicious! The kebab sandwich was refined and didn't become boring at all. This adventure was a huge success, and everyone polished off their meals, leaving with heavy stomachs and smiles! Haha!

I enjoyed an Egyptian dish called koshari at a café very close to Sendagaya Station. The large serving of koshari, which included avocado and sour cream, came with a salad and soup for 1000 yen. Koshari means "to mix." It consists of rice with beans and small pasta topped with spicy tomato sauce and fried onions. I took my time mixing it while I ate. The flavor was quite light, with a strong acidity. If you like sour tastes, I recommend it. Additionally, you can change the flavor by adding lemon sauce or spicy sauce. Despite being a large portion, I finished it easily. It was surprisingly easy to eat and a great opportunity to try a taste of another culture. Thank you for the meal!
