In Nishi-Temma, there is a restaurant called "YoShoku Izumi". I actually have another favorite restaurant in Nishi-Temma, but my gourmet radar was triggered by the exterior as I walked past on my way there. I had decided in my heart to visit this restaurant if the timing was right after doing some research. On this day, I finished work early and found out there was an available table, so I visited with light steps. Upon visiting, I understood the reason why they asked for my name in kanji when I made a reservation over the phone! There was a handwritten reservation card placed on the counter. At this point, my heart was already captured. However, the course menu is for 2 people... being solo, I wanted to try the omurice a la carte. While waiting for the omurice, I satisfied my hunger with orange wine and tuna tartare, observing the chef's movements. The omurice arrived shortly after. Luxuriously, there were two types of sauce. The orange-like color of the egg was appetizing. I took a bite... the creamy egg with rich rice. Even though no one asked, a sigh of "delicious..." escaped my lips, as if I were being embraced by a good man. Despite still being piping hot, I couldn't stop eating while breathing heavily. While talking about cooking with the chef as I ate, he noticed my love for cooking and gave advice on the delicious way to cook eggs and even suggested a knife to use, and firmly promised, "Next time, I'll come for the course menu!" On the way back, I even received homemade rusk and left the night fully satisfied. He said, "I've remembered it, so I won't forget!" so those who go should mention my name. By the way, the omurice, tuna tartare, and orange wine came out to a bill of 16,000 yen due to me finishing a bottle alone, which seems like a bug. The actual price is more reasonable, so no need to worry... #Nishi-Temma #OsakaGourmet #YoShokuIzumi #ChefIsImaizumi #DrankTooMuchAlone #SecretsOfEggDishes
