Today, I kidnapped my senior colleague from work and headed to a hidden spot. As soon as we sat down at the counter, I spotted a delicious-looking apple pie. Even though I was only planning on having one drink, I decided to choose a wine that seemed quite challenging to pair with food, and let Hiroshi-san pick it out for me. We ended up with a cloudy white wine. For my senior, I ordered the usual half portion of duck liver mousse! The apple pie made by Kanako-san was incredibly crispy, and the balance of the apple's tartness and sweetness was excellent! The homemade berry sauce served with ice cream was a nice touch as well. My senior was pleased too. I will definitely come again. Thank you for the meal!

At the hidden gem in Kudanshita, I enjoyed a blissful moment with my usual order of duck liver mousse, half portions for two, and a recommended dish of oysters! However, I misheard and ordered a salad with persimmons instead of oysters. The marinated salad made with sweet persimmons and kohlrabi had a gentle flavor. I was surprised when it arrived because I had automatically thought "oysters" when I heard "kaki." The staff mentioned, "It's the perfect season for oysters, so definitely try them!" The affordable and delicious wine served made it just right for a casual evening with a coworker, costing around 3,500 yen for a glass each. I'll definitely return. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I found myself dropping by this place unexpectedly, thanks to the inviting atmosphere created by the staff. It seems like there are quite a few regular customers, as the seats have often been filled recently. However, I managed to find a spot at the counter for a solo visit. I tried a red wine for the first time here, and I also ordered a half portion of the duck liver mousse, which has become a favorite of mine! I forgot to take a picture of the liver mousse, but it was served on a charming Kasama pottery dish. It was really wonderful! I’ll definitely come back. Thank you for the meal!

I couldn't forget the taste of the duck liver mousse I had recently, so I visited again for a snack. I love that they open at 3 PM. They have a wide variety of duck appetizers—almost everything on the menu features duck! Everything pairs perfectly with wine. I ordered my favorite liver mousse again, and this time I also tried the sautéed duck neck with basil. The basil sauce was delicious! This bright wine stand is a great casual spot that seemed hard to find in the area.

I stumbled upon a small, bright wine stand that has been lively since early in the morning. It's located roughly between Ichigaya and Kudanshita stations. You can enjoy a selection of wines by the glass starting at around 950 yen. They offer a variety of duck-themed snacks, and the duck liver mousse was incredibly rich in flavor and sweetness, making it absolutely delicious. It's a fun place where you can casually stop by for a light drink during snack time or before/after dinner. The lovely owner couple warmly welcomed me, and I can see myself coming back frequently.

I had a glass of Domaine d'Or Chardonnay from France for 850 yen, and it was really robust. It was delicious! The scallop and tomato bruschetta was only 200 yen per piece, which is a great price! This is my second visit, and I'm so glad I finally made it here. This hidden wine stand is a wonderful find, and although I can only come sporadically, I'll definitely be back! Thank you for the meal!

After work, I felt like having a chilled white wine and was looking at the menu outside when female staff members and customers inside beckoned me in. I was drawn in by their invitation, and the atmosphere inside was great. The owner, who seemed to be a male staff member, was friendly too, and when I shared my preferences, he recommended the perfect wine. This time, I paired it with duck liver mousse, which was delicious! The mousse had a unique spice on top that I had never seen before, and I enjoyed it from a long, narrow jar with a spoon. The place just opened in August, so it's only been about a month. If you're looking for a quick drink with light snacks, you can enjoy it for around 2000 yen, making it a great option for an after-work drink. I’m definitely coming back again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I often go to a wonderful restaurant run by a friendly young couple, where I enjoy a glass of wine after meals at home, chatting with them. Since I visit alone after dinner, I haven't had many chances to try the food, but their duck dishes are especially delicious. The flavors pair wonderfully with wine, yet the tastes are gentle and not overpowering. The clientele seems to be mostly locals, and we often exchange information about nearby places in a lively atmosphere. Since the restaurant just opened, I hope more people will discover it, but at the same time, I want to keep it a little secret… it's such a lovely place! 😊
