I had been curious about Azumakoto's half-fried fish for a while. I had some time, so I decided to go and try it out. Last time I went, they were closed, so I gave it another shot. This time they were open! I ordered the half-fried fish and chicken wings and waited for about 10 minutes. I couldn't resist and dug into the freshly fried chicken wings in the car. They were piping hot and delicious. It wasn't like fried chicken, but more like fried with a crispy and fragrant skin. Seasoned with soy sauce, salt, and pepper, it had a nice kick that would go well with beer. I also tried the half-fried fish at home. It was incredibly juicy and not greasy at all, so I finished it all by myself. It's a bit far and a bit of a challenge to get to, but if I have the chance, I would love to eat there again.

I came to Higashimokoto, Oozora-cho. Tomorrow I'll be hiking, but today I'm staying overnight before heading out, so I thought about going to Kushiro to eat soba, but that seemed like too much trouble so I canceled everything. However, I still have a little time left after finishing what I needed to do, about an hour and a half. I thought of getting half-fried chicken at Higashimokoto. I don't like half-fried chicken, so I thought maybe they have zangi instead, but it seemed like they didn't. I passed by about three times, but it was never open. Today it was open. I asked if there was something else I could get, but he quickly closed the screen door. There was a bus on the premises with "Grooming" written on it, so I assume his wife does grooming in the bus. She came out, and she was also somewhat friendly, making me feel like I wanted to support them. I was waiting a little further away, but she started chatting with me. I didn't want that. "Did you see us online?" "I've passed by a few times and was curious because it was never open." "I'm sorry, we also do deliveries. Yesterday, we had an order for 30 people in Kitami, so I had to go deliver it." "I'm sorry." "Do you use Facebook?" "Yes." "Then please write about us." Do they know me? Are they telling me to write about them? Fearless, aren't they? I ordered about 7 minutes ago, and they fry it after you order. That's nice because you get to eat it right away. But as soon as they place the food, they quickly close the screen door. I understand it's probably for bug control, but if they were friendlier, I might understand better. But with doubts about their friendliness, I didn't feel good at all. They closed the screen door and left me to pick up my order by myself. At least they could hand it to me. I left feeling completely dissatisfied. I ate it during my camping trip for the pre-hike stay. I grilled it in a camping pot. It's okay, it's properly reheated. And of course, it's accompanied by beer. The meat is so tender and delicious. "It's spicy," my wife said. It does have a nice aroma. It's lightly seasoned and tasty chicken wings. Even when grilled, it doesn't release excess fat. It's quite a good item. I give it a good review. I'll support the wife.

This is my first visit. I was looking for a takeout restaurant and found this place. When I opened the box at home, it smelled so good! It's best to eat it while it's still warm. Unfortunately, they were sold out of chicken wings. I might call ahead next time to reserve them. Thank you for the meal.

The saltiness is mild, which is not a bad thing at all. The onions are bigger than yesterday, and the quality seems better. If I hadn't had delicious skewers the day before, it would have been fine. Yes, it was a delicious chicken skewer.

I went to a hot spring and enjoyed my favorite hot water. On the way back, I stopped by a restaurant and said, "Skewers sound good!" But when I went in, there was an old lady smoking an electronic cigarette, which really brought down the mood. They only had fried chicken and fried fish. I should have bought some on the way there. When I got home, I opened a beer and ate the fried chicken. It was delicious and had great value for the price. The ginger flavor came first, and the garlic wasn't too strong. The crispy exterior was great. It wasn't the best quality meat, but for the price, it was good. It was tender, didn't smell, and wasn't too greasy. I'm not sure if it's domestically produced, but it was tasty.

I called ahead before going on the weekend to make sure they weren't sold out. The store opens at 9 a.m. When I called before 10 a.m., I was told the owner was out. A lady, possibly the owner's wife, answered and said it would be okay after 10:30 a.m. I guess they sometimes go out during business hours? Maybe not many customers come in early. When I went to pick up the food, they greeted me warmly, saying "You're the one who called, right?" The food was in a paper pack, wrapped in aluminum foil for warmth. There was even a wet towel included, making it easy to eat in the car. I reheated it in the toaster at home and it was delicious. Juicy, perfectly seasoned with ginger and soy sauce. It was tender and biting into it was pure bliss. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.
