On this day, I decided to try the "French Toast Sampler (100 yen)" and an "Iced Coffee (450 yen)" since it was my first visit. The French toast was surprisingly good for the price, with a moist and flavorful bread soaked in egg mixture, hinting at a touch of alcohol. The sugar used was refined and added a nice touch. A new café opened, so I visited for the first time. It actually opened today, even though the website said it opened in April. I was hungry, but they only had toast on the menu. I noticed they had a French toast for 400 yen, limited to 5 servings per day. I ordered it with a hot drink. It was amazingly delicious! The French toast was fluffy like mascarpone, made with baguette bread that was soft and slightly sweet. It was really tasty! It's a sin that they only serve 5 per day. I arrived around 1 pm and it was the last serving. I felt bad for the people who came after me. The owner used to work in a certain profession, and many of his former colleagues came to congratulate him with flowers. The café also offers a great morning deal with free toast with drinks from 9-10 am, but the French toast is not included.
