I wonder if they have it today...they do! - Fishmonger's Tekkamaki (Iron Fire Roll) 498 yen This seaweed roll is tightly packed with red meat and medium fatty tuna, using what is essentially the cut ends. The quality of the tuna is excellent and the portion is generous! There's no way it wouldn't be delicious! The vinegared rice has a good balance, and in terms of supermarket seaweed rolls, it is definitely above average in quality. At 498 yen for this content, the cost performance is also good enough. Looking closely at the images, there is also a homemade? seaweed roll with pickled mackerel...as a pickled mackerel lover, I would like to try it. This kind of local supermarket would not survive in a halfway local city, but it seems to thrive in a big city like Sapporo with its niche market and regional characteristics. Benriya in June 2019 is bustling!! I went to buy a bento and when I was looking at onigiri, I saw a mountain of "little devil" inside the basket. They were 100 yen each. I tried the devil onigiri and surprisingly, I found it delicious haha. I also bought a "mini katsudon" for 200 yen. Thank you for the meal! Short and sweet!!

For lunch today, I decided to go with a bento box! I went to a supermarket known for being affordable, and they had a decent selection of bento boxes. I was torn between katsudon and nori bento, but I ended up choosing the nori bento! I've bought it a few times before and it's quite delicious. Sometimes they even have special prices like 258 yen? The fried fish and chikuwa weren't too greasy, and there was a small amount of chikuwa salad that was tasty. Whenever I come here, I always end up buying the nori bento without considering anything else!!

It's been a while since my last post! The supermarket is bustling with a wide variety of fresh foods and more staff members. I noticed that there are now plenty of Costco-related food items available as well! When I checked out the deli section, I found a hearty "Shrimp Cutlet Burger for 250 yen". It looked delicious, so I bought it. It's a sandwich with lettuce, thick slices of tomato, and a shrimp cutlet, all topped with sauce. The shrimp cutlet is crispy and flavorful. It's much tastier than convenience store burgers and there are no burger joints nearby. Even though the area seems to be getting stricter due to urban development, I hope Benri continues to thrive! In 2014, the store gradually became brighter and the fixtures changed, and even the cash register became the latest model at Benri. Last year, Kumamoto bamboo shoots were available at the store, but there was news of a poor harvest this year, so I thought they might be shipping them to Hokkaido. However, they were available! The products from "Costco" were being sold at half price. I won't mention the name of the soup, but it was delicious. Today, I bought a 284 yen (tax excluded) seaweed bento with salmon in it. There were various kinds of bentos available, including fried fish and egg with seaweed. The store layout had changed, and I was a bit lost. I bought "Ichiryu Seimen fresh udon" for 88 yen (excluding tax) and cooked it for about 4 and a half minutes. Cheap (｡>∀<｡) My kids love this bread. The size is just right and very convenient (´▽｀). Since it's impossible to finish within the expiration date, let's divide it into smaller portions and freeze it♪ Thank you for the meal♪---Long ago, it used to be called Nishi 21 Department Store. I think it changed its name to Benri when I was in elementary school. Unrelated, but there was a small candy store across from Benri. It was called Happy Toy. Grandma always ran it alone, and most kids bought snacks for field trips from Happy Toy. Like Big Katsu, Umaibo, Young Donuts, etc. Well, there are many memories in this area. And Benri. I stop by occasionally. This is my first time writing a review, but it's truly convenient as the name suggests. It's right by the tram stop and has everything you need. Neighborhood series! I have visited Mr. Benri several times, and he often comes at night. Today, he visited late and the price was quite cheap (^_^) The hamburger and tsukune bento were half price! It was tall and hearty, with the rice soaking up the sauce. Next time, I'll stop by for some processed meat and maybe some drinks as well. It might get expensive!

"Bentley" is a local supermarket. It is a nostalgic type of supermarket that evokes the Showa era. It is quite different from the major supermarkets. (laughs) I decided to visit based on a review by "Harahide" on MyReviewer, which said, "I am confident that I will like the side dishes made by this obachan (middle-aged woman)!!" So, I decided to visit with my usual companion on a weekday. This store is located in the Yamahana area of Chuo Ward, Sapporo, along the Nan 22 tram street. It is a small supermarket, but it offers a wide range of products such as flowers, meat, and fish. In the prepared food section, there are many inexpensive items. The bento boxes are also cheap, with various options like the "nori bento." I chose the most cost-effective one with large salmon in it. I also noticed the "easy Napoli-tan spaghetti," which I couldn't overlook as a member of the "♡Minna no Napoli-tan♡" group. On a leisurely Sunday, I had a day of unlimited tram rides and unlimited food logging with the "Dosanko Pass @370". I stopped by "Benri" on the north side of the "Higashi Tonden-dori" tram stop. I was planning to buy a bento box, but couldn't find one I liked, so I ended up buying "croquettes and smoked mixed nuts". The croquettes come in a pack of 5 and are pre-made, with a moist and fluffy potato filling. The smoked mixed nuts were surprisingly authentic in flavor, with a subtle smoky taste. They were not too salty, making them a perfect snack with drinks. I also saw great deals on fruits, meat, and fish, so I plan to go shopping there again soon. Thank you for the meal!

I wanted to eat a tuna roll, but they were sold out, so I got a tuna bowl instead. It was actually a green onion and tuna bowl, but it was still full of delicious tuna. I was very satisfied with it. Tuna is the best, I could eat it every day without getting tired of it!
