Today, I took a half day off for errands. My wife was also off, so we decided to have a weekday lunch at Victoria Station Iwamizawa. I ordered the "Direct Fire Grilled Beef Cut Steak" which came with a soup bar, rice bar, and curry bar. It was priced at 990 yen before tax, which I found reasonable. It was delicious, and I really enjoy curry at family restaurants. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like eating gratin, so I saw a sign and went to Victoria Station in Iwamizawa. I was seated and looked at the menu. I ordered Seafood Gratin for ¥650, 4 pieces of Texas Toast for ¥120, and a Single Salad Bar for ¥690. I couldn't get a set with just the gratin. Before the gratin arrived, I made a salad at the salad bar and nibbled on it while waiting. The gratin arrived! It was small, palm-sized. Now, let's dig in. Huh? Is that tofu? No, it's bread. Where's the macaroni? The other ingredients include shrimp, crab, scallops, 3 pieces of spinach each, and some mussels for volume. A gratin without macaroni... well, I decided to just go for it. I ate the macaroni salad from the salad bar like there was no tomorrow. I also ate pasta, fruits, and jelly from the salad bar. The Texas Toast was hard. It was okay, like unsweetened rusk. The coffee jelly had a bitter taste and was delicious. Thank you for the meal. The gratin didn't meet my expectations, but the service was good.

After finishing work, I was so hungry! Three of us, all starving, went to the restaurant. Since they are open until midnight, it wasn't crowded and we could enjoy a leisurely dinner. The salad bar with separate pricing was a nice touch. I ordered a supposedly spicy hamburger, but it wasn't spicy at all (lol). I resisted eating rice, but it was a futile effort. After shopping, I went to change my iPhone plan and found out that they were only accepting reservations. So, I made a reservation and decided to have lunch at the nearby Victoria Station. I used to go there every year when they had a limited-time low-carb menu. Thank you for the memories. I used to easily lose about 10kg back then, but now I can't seem to do it anymore. I had the grated hamburger while my companion had the cheeseburger. We also enjoyed the soup bar and salad bar. We shared a bowl of rice, which was just the right amount. The cheeseburger had three types of cheese and a ketchup-based sauce with a strong acidity. The grated burger came with a ponzu sauce. The corn and consommé soup, along with the vegetable salad, were perfect with half a bowl of rice. It was a delicious and satisfying meal. At the table next to us, a young father and his two little girls were happily enjoying their pancake set. It was so heartwarming to see them. As I've gotten older, I appreciate and cherish moments like these with my family. Thank you for the meal.

Visited for the first time on November 6, 2020. I had passed by the Victoria Station Iwamizawa store a few times but never had the chance to visit until now. I ordered the hand-kneaded hamburger full set from the grand menu, which came with curry, soup, drink, and salad. The hand-kneaded hamburger was thick and juicy, very delicious. I poured the curry over the rice to make curry rice. The salad was all-you-can-eat, and the soup and drink were also refillable. I was able to eat until my stomach was full. Inside the store, masks were required when not eating, and plastic gloves were provided for the salad bar. They are taking precautions against COVID-19. The price for the full set was surprisingly only 900 yen plus tax. Even with tax included, it was less than 1000 yen. The dishes looked good, had a good amount of food, and tasted delicious. Many people in Hokkaido rely on "Victoria Station" and "Big Boy." If I were to describe it as the Hokkaido version, would people in Honshu understand? "XXXXXXX" Lunch with hand-kneaded hamburger, soup bar, curry, and rice for 626 yen. It's so reasonable to have all-you-can-eat rice, soup bar, and curry at this price! The daily lunch set now includes a salad bar. On Fridays, the menu features grilled chicken & choice fry, as well as sesame sauce pork. The combination of ginger-accented choice fry and spicy sesame sauce flavored boiled pork is sure to whet your appetite.

I ordered the lunch menu with cut steak (served with soup bar and bread or rice), and added salad bar and drink bar. They didn't ask how I wanted the steak cooked, but it seemed like they prepared it in the most delicious way. In the past, Mozart was said to love soup and always had at least three helpings, and I did the same. From now on, feel free to call me the Mozart of the 21st century.

Thank you to the staff at this restaurant who worked hard to provide us with food even though they were also affected by the power outage in the area. Even though the power has been restored, there are still people facing difficulties, so we appreciate being able to eat. We hadn't eaten much the day before, so we went as a family. They weren't serving their usual lunch menu, so it ended up being quite expensive, but we were grateful for the salad bar. We ate so much that we didn't need dinner afterwards. Surprisingly, the restaurant was crowded! Everyone must be wealthy here, I thought to myself (just a random thought). Thank you for the delicious meal!

I've been to this restaurant a few times and since the lunch menu wasn't appealing to me, I decided to have the garlic hamburger. It was delicious, even better than the hamburgers at Bikkuri Donkey, which I thought were the best. Maybe it was because it's close to payday, but the lunch set wasn't as good of a deal today. Some days there are lots of moms with kids, other days there are many dads having lunch. I ended up staying for about 4 hours. The staff seemed a bit short-handed as they didn't come to clear our plates right away, but that was fine with me. Lately, my stomach hasn't been feeling great so I couldn't eat as much as I wanted, but I still managed to have seconds of curry and salad. Thanks for the meal!

By entering by 5 pm, you can enjoy unlimited refills of rice, curry rice, and soup bar with the hand-kneaded hamburger. It was the best feeling of fullness I've ever experienced. If you have a limited budget but still want to eat meat and indulge in curry, this place is highly recommended. The potage soup helps to moisturize your stomach while waiting. It's cheap, delicious, and has a great atmosphere. Is it really this cheap and good after eating? Plus, they accept card payments, so there's nothing to complain about from start to finish.

Today's wife's request: "I want to eat meat." She liked the restaurant called Cowboy Family before. In other words, she wants to eat steak. When reviewing Cowboy Family, I received information from a fellow reviewer, "Todowara," that Victoria has also changed its style to a dish-centric approach where rice and salad are freely available, like Cowboy Family. So, we decided to go to Victoria, which we had been avoiding for a few years. We went to the nearest Iwamizawa store! I was surprised by the number of cars parked! A few years ago, when I came, it was empty, but now there were quite a few cars. When we entered the store, the atmosphere was almost the same, but it was almost full. It seems that changing the style has attracted customers. Looking at the menu, it's the same style as Cowboy Family. What caught my eye was the "Thick-cut Pound Sirloin Steak"! And they seemed to be having a sale to celebrate the Fighters' victory. 1 pound = 450g. It's impossible to eat this alone. We ordered a set for two. We also got the drink bar. However, if you use the drink bar, it will be added to the bill at checkout, so ordering wasn't necessary (laughs). Now, it's a buffet style, so we checked what they had! There was curry. The salad was decent. The soups were Minestrone and Corn Soup. There might have been one more before... I made a mini curry for tasting. And I made a salad. The curry is spicier compared to Cowboy Family. But it's not really spicy. It's a thinner type. Well, it's okay (laughs). The salad is also decent and tasty! My wife also had the same impression and was happy. Then the Pound Sirloin Steak appeared!! Haha... I couldn't help but smile. Wow!! This chunk of meat is amazing!! The 450g is impressive just to look at! It's tough to cut because of its thickness. But the cut surface looks nicely rare. I'll eat it with the sauce. Hmm. I see. This has a good bite! The meat itself is not top-notch, with a certain level of firmness and no marbling, it's surprisingly light. I don't dislike this kind of meat. My wife also seemed to like it. We're both digging in quite heartily (laughs). Even if we split it evenly between the two of us, it's over 200g per person. It was a satisfying meat! In terms of the atmosphere of the store and the uniformly good service of the staff, Cowboy Family is far superior. But when it comes to just the food, Victoria is decent. Also, on their website, there is a coupon where you can get unlimited soft drinks for 50 yen, so if you want to use it, make sure to print it out and bring it with you. (I think it used to be free before) This time, I asked for the sirloin steak that I wanted to try the most from the show. I wanted to eat a lot, but considering the price and the fact that "curry rice is all-you-can-eat," I ordered 200g. I requested a wine-based sauce, which I found to be a perfect match for the steak. It was a bit difficult to chew in some parts, but overall, it was a great experience.
