I visited the area that opened in January at Toranomon Hills for the first time. The B2 floor features T-MARKET, a food court and restaurant along with a general goods store. It's new, dimly lit, and has a stylish atmosphere. Uké is a restaurant rather than a food court-type establishment. On a Thursday night at 7 PM, about 80% of the seats were filled, so it seems that walk-ins for one or two people might be possible. It’s a sister restaurant of Neki in Nihonbashi, presenting a Japanese bistro vibe. The creative menu is impressive, making it hard to decide what to order! It feels rare to find a place with such a wide variety of dishes that utilize unusual combinations of ingredients (like Jerusalem artichokes with Japanese wild green onions and jade eggplants); I can't help but want to try them since I don't usually encounter these ingredients. The counter displays beautiful obanzai (seasonal side dishes) and fresh vegetables, so sitting at the counter is also recommended. The drinks seem to have a unique flair too, including a mysterious beverage called "Noppy." As someone who doesn’t drink much alcohol, I was a little disappointed that there weren’t many soft drink options. Since many stylish and trendy places are gathered here, I’d like to arrive a bit earlier next time to browse the goods store for dishes, then enjoy a hop from the food court area for drinks, followed by coffee after the meal!

I made a reservation for lunch on Sunday. I ordered the Uke Gozen for ¥3,000 plus a set drink for ¥500. I could choose between meat or fish for the main dish; that day's meat option was teriyaki chicken, and the fish option was saury grilled in Saikyo miso. I ordered the Saikyo grilled fish, but including the Saikyo grilled fish, the appetizers and dessert all left an impression that was neither good nor bad. I felt that the cost performance was not worth it. However, the access was excellent as it is directly connected to the station.

It seems to be a Japanese izakaya, and I had the "roast duck breast with fifteen-grain rice" for lunch. The interior was clean and stylish, and the delicious food was served on beautiful plates. There are reasonably priced lunch menus with a variety of options, and it seems there is also a lunch course available for around 3000 yen. I would definitely like to visit again.

This restaurant, located directly connected to Toranomon Hills, is filled with hospitality. Everything in the store and on the menu is stylish and delicious. The staff all gave a friendly impression. We visited as a group of three, and they kindly divided all the ordered dishes into portions for each person. One of us arrived a bit late, but they staggered the delivery of the fried dishes so that we could enjoy them hot. It was a busy Friday night, yet they still showed such thoughtful care. I have become a fan of this restaurant for sure! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

【Nearest Station】Directly connected to Toranomon Hills Station, B2F inside Toranomon Hills Station Tower T-MARKET 【About the Restaurant】An innovative French restaurant in Nihonbashi Kabutocho called "Neki" is run by a chef who offers a genre-less Japanese izakaya for adults. The restaurant's name comes from the old Japanese word "Uke," which means "to encounter good fortune and have good things continue," giving it a favorable and auspicious meaning. 【Order】Roasted duck breast with 15-grain rice ¥1700, Lemonade with kaffir lime and blue lemon ¥500 【Review】I visited for lunch on a Saturday. It was still quiet since I arrived before noon. The interior has a stylish and calm atmosphere, giving off a sense of an adult drinking spot. I seated myself at the large central table. I was torn between the duck and chicken nanban from the lunch menu, but I opted for the duck, which I rarely eat. The roasted duck breast and 15-grain rice came as a one-plate with a salad, and it included a soup and pickles. The duck roast was moist, and being breast meat, it was refreshing as well. It was delicious and healthy. However, the overall portion was a bit small, so it might not be enough for a man. If you're planning to hop to a café afterward, it might be just right! Haha. The lemonade with kaffir lime and blue lemon was something I couldn't quite imagine beforehand, but the unique flavor of kaffir lime leaves paired with a hint of lemon's slight bitterness made it feel like an adult version of lemonade, almost like I was drinking alcohol. I really liked it! Also, I didn't order it this time, but I learned that you can enjoy ice cream from the sweet shop "teal" in Nihonbashi Kabutocho at this restaurant too. Oh, I see... "teal" is operated by the same company! Got it—Thank you for the meal!

I've been craving fish lately... To be honest, I wasn't even planning on having lunch, but when I glanced at the lunch menu outside the restaurant, a lovely waitress said, "Please, feel free to come in." Her natural smile and warm atmosphere drew me in unexpectedly (laughs).
The small restaurant has various seating options that are easy to enjoy alone or with friends—there are counter seats perfect for solo diners, comfy sofa areas for a lively gathering, and cozy tables for two where you can relax. Since I was alone, I chose the counter seat, which was a bit high, so I had to make an effort to hop on (laughs). There were three female staff members, all with wonderful smiles and charm.
As I took my newly bought doll (am I a child?) out of the bag and admired it before my meal, they watched over me with cheerful smiles. Since it was after the lunch rush, the place was empty, which allowed for this moment (≧∇≦). The grilled fish with Saikyo miso was delicious, with just the right amount of flavor soaked in.
Next time, I might come for a lunchtime drink! It really was a cozy place. Thank you for the meal! m(_ _)m

The roasted duck breast served with 15-grain rice is priced at 1700 yen, and it's nice to find a clean and elegant Japanese restaurant. The duck breast is tender and has no unpleasant smell. The other side dishes are also well-prepared. The portion sizes are on the smaller side, so it's recommended for those who want to eat healthily.

This is a new type of izakaya created by Kyohpei Nishi, who is also behind the innovative French restaurant "Neki" in Nihonbashi Kabutocho and the wood-fired restaurant "songbook" in Setagaya Daida. It's a restaurant I've been curious about for a while, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The menu is diverse, featuring both seasonal dishes and classics, which made it a lot of fun. The squid ink and sea urchin fried rice was exceptional (it might be a limited-time offering...?). The combination of smoked potato salad and karasumi was also a guaranteed hit, perfectly aromatic. For dessert, there was a chocolate and cherry ice cream from Teal, which balanced acidity and sweetness beautifully, providing a luxurious finish. I'm definitely interested in trying more items from the menu!

At the stylish Japanese izakaya located in T-Market on the B2F of Toranomon Hills, you can enjoy a variety of genre-less dishes and a wide selection of drinks, including natural wines. Due to the typhoon yesterday, the rooftop bar on the 49th floor of the Station Tower was canceled, so I had the chance to dine here. Although I've previously ordered a few dishes from the public table in T-Market before dinner, this was my first time enjoying a full meal inside the restaurant.
The dishes are prepared with care and have a gentle flavor. The tofu appetizer was delicious. My recommendations include the smoked potato salad, shrimp spring rolls, and fried rice. The lighting inside is cute, creating a relaxing atmosphere. It's quieter than T-Market, making it easier to have conversations, although I do enjoy the lively buzz there. On Friday nights, the place tends to get quite crowded and lively.
One of the great things about Toranomon Hills is the abundance of restaurant options, so you won’t have trouble finding a second place to go. I'm looking forward to trying out one of the adorable seats with curtains next time!

I visited this place for my second stop. I enjoyed a couple of light drinks while trying about three small dishes. Both the drinks and the food had unique combinations, giving a casual vibe yet maintaining a sense of authenticity. I think it's a great spot for girls' nights out or dates.

Since rain clouds are covering Hills until around 19:30, it's better to do a site visit rather than work, especially since there are no demons in the office. So, I headed underground to enjoy a delightful combination with distilled spirits. They offer an original beer-tasting beverage from NOMURA SHOTEN, as well as a craft beer from hobo in Fukuoka. The spirits are sourced from a wide range of domestic options, and I was particularly interested in the NOMURA SHOTEN original Noppy, which has an alcohol content of 0.5%. They mix it with gin or shochu for serving. As for the food, they have an intriguing combination of dishes like simmered daikon radish, pistachio miso, and seared mackerel. The interior design caught my eye, especially the round table. Upon looking into it later, I found out that these creations are by CLOCK, which also operates restaurants like Pâtisserie ease and "BANK" in Kayabacho. No wonder it’s so cute!

This is a review of a restaurant located on the second basement level of the Toranomon Hills Station Tower. The lunch menu includes a limited offer of 10 meals per day:
- Lunch set for 3,000 yen
- Uke platter lunch for 2,600 yen
- Chicken nanban set for 1,500 yen (sold out)
- Saikyo grilled fish set for 1,500 yen
- Roast duck breast with 15-grain rice for 1,700 yen.
I was considering the chicken nanban but found out it was sold out when I entered the restaurant. I decided to go with the saikyo grilled fish set instead. It came with soup, a small side dish, pickles, and 15-grain rice. The portions were not large, with the pickles being small enough to eat in one bite, but everything was beautifully prepared and delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I had a Uke plate lunch at Uke in Toranomon Hills. The interior is stylish. The assortment of seasonal side dishes included chicken nanban, taro, daikon, cucumber, simmered eggplant, herring, kelp, konjac, smoked potato salad, beef tataki, and kinpira gobo. There’s a good mix of meat and fish. The seasoning is unique and pairs well with the rice. The portion of the fifteen-grain rice is small. It comes with a soup made of tofu and spinach. For dessert, there’s kinako warabi mochi and hojicha tea. It’s quite healthy and the portions are on the smaller side, but the careful preparation satisfies the heart! The price was 2,600 yen.

I visited a Japanese restaurant located in the Toranomon Hills Station Tower, which is run by Kyohei Nishi from Neki and Songbird. The saikyo-yaki (grilled fish marinated in miso) I had was fluffy and delicious. I was also pleased to find teal ice cream on the dessert menu.

Uke plate lunch for 2,600 yen. The taste is good, but... the portion size is really small. Right after this, I decided to buy instant noodles from a convenience store. Due to these two factors, the satisfaction level isn’t very high. I should have just gone with my favorite, Saikyoyaki, but I ended up choosing the plate lunch with the restaurant’s name on it. Each of the side dishes on the plate is well-crafted, and the taste is certainly good, plus it’s healthy. The dishes themselves are lovely, and the bowl for the soup is impressively heavy and substantial. I visited around 11:35, and there were only 2 other customers. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be served. When I left at 12:15, the restaurant was only about 30% full. It’s a nice place to enjoy a calm and leisurely meal. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a restaurant in the basement of the Toranomon Hills Station Tower, which is part of the Songbook family, known for its wood-fired cooking in Setagaya. The staff recognized me and said, "You came to Songbook before, right?" I was delighted that they remembered me. This place serves Japanese cuisine. I started with snacks like tofu, spicy konjac, potato salad, and a thick, fluffy omelet. The main fish dish and the fried rice for the finale were both exquisite, leaving me very satisfied.

I visited for lunch and had the yurinchi (fried chicken with a tangy sauce). I was imagining crispy meat, but the batter was softer than I expected. When I combined it with the tartar sauce, it felt a bit heavy for me, so I ended up leaving some. The rice was a multigrain variety, cooked perfectly and delicious. My friend had the saikyo-yaki (grilled fish with a sweet miso marinade) and said it was very tasty.

I visited T-Market in the Toranomon Hills Station Tower just after 1:00 PM, and I was able to enter the restaurant right away. I ordered the Saikyo-style grilled fish set meal for 1,600 yen, which comes with rice, miso soup, the grilled fish, kinpira gobo (sautéed burdock root), and pickles. While the portion is a bit small, the food is really tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm, making it a great place for solo diners. The rice portion is on the smaller side, and I wonder if they offer refills... It might not be enough for men, though. If I could suggest improvements, I’d love a bit more pickles, as the amount is minimal, and perhaps an additional small dish would be nice. I recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a Japanese lunch.

I had lunch at a restaurant located on the basement level two of the Toranomon Hills Station Tower, which turns into an izakaya at night. I ordered the saikyo-yaki set meal for 1,600 yen. This price is slightly on the higher side for lunch, but I was warmly welcomed by a staff member with a lovely smile at the entrance, and the ambiance of the restaurant, with music playing from a record, heightened my expectations for the meal.
The saikyo-yaki was likely made with silver cod. All the bones were expertly removed, and the fish had a nicely crispy skin and tender flesh infused with saikyo miso, making it very delicious. The fish itself deserves a score of 3.5.
However, the clear soup was a bit too salty despite having a rich dashi flavor, although the tofu in it was very tasty. The pickled cabbage was also on the salty side, but the texture of the cabbage was excellent. Perhaps the restaurant intentionally seasoned them more heavily to complement the drinks, as it seemed overall that the saltiness was excessive. Additionally, the portion size felt a bit small.
The warm tea served at the end was comforting. Since the fish was so delicious, I’m considering coming back in the evening sometime.

I don't usually eat very healthily, but since it's just before my health check-up, I thought I'd try something healthy. I found this place listed on Eredeco, and I think it tastes pretty good. However, the Toranomon Hills Station Tower has a ton of restaurants, so if you're looking for regular meals with set menus, that might be more common. If you want something healthy, this could be the right choice.

Uke is a creative cuisine restaurant that opened in January 2024 at T-MARKET in Toranomon Hills Station Tower. It is a sister restaurant of Neki in Kayabacho and Mary Jane, which recently opened in Daikanyama. On this day, I had lunch there. I ordered the Saikyo Grilled Set (with Hirame fish), which came with a small side dish, clear soup, and pickles. The restaurant has a bright and beautiful interior, making it a nice spot for lunch. The carefully grilled Saikyo-style fish was flavorful and delicious. The small side dish and clear soup were also tasty, making for a lovely lunch overall. Thank you for the meal!
