The actual size was larger than expected, and this lightly salted mackerel felt quite good. The freshness seemed to be pushed to the limit due to the light salting, but I could sense that this homemade extra-large mackerel has been perfected over the years. I thought I might come back to buy more, but when I entered the store, it was smoky and I felt like I had walked into a place where I didn't belong. I had planned to look around the whole store and make a selection, but the stuffy feeling of the environment made me want to leave quickly and return to my car. The mother seemed to have a friendly character and would engage in conversation, but I felt a bit intimidated, although the men might feel differently once they are used to it. It may just be my own perception since it is a face-to-face sales type of store, but there was a somewhat exclusive atmosphere and I wished they had better ventilation to clear the smoke. While fast-moving items may not be a problem, it seemed like it could affect items that have been in the store for a long time.
