I visited an izakaya in a hotel nearby. The atmosphere was calming, the interior was spacious with a counter, making it suitable for solo drinking. Although it was quite busy and seemed understaffed, the staff's responsiveness and customer service were good. This alone left a positive impression. I enjoyed some yakitori and sake. They have a wide selection of sake, so I would especially recommend it to sake lovers.

I wanted to drink sake, so I went to an izakaya. It was Sunday, so there were few places open, but they welcomed me warmly even though I was alone. The grilled squid was especially delicious, and the squid liver was tasty. I really liked the sake, Kuni Koi, as I could fully enjoy the flavor of the rice. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for a night gathering. I entered the izakaya attached to the hotel nearby, but the atmosphere was great! The sunken kotatsu room was spacious and the distance to the next table was reassuring. The simmered stingray was large and served hot. The head chef at this restaurant seems to be particular about the aroma?! The grilled squid was tender and delicious all the way to the legs! The squid liver sashimi melted in the mouth and had a fresh aroma that went perfectly with sake! The meal ended with a comforting crab rice porridge. I thoroughly enjoyed the blessings of the vast nature of snowy Hokkaido. I definitely want to come back!

I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. It has a izakaya vibe but with spacious seating! The zangi was flavorful and quite filling! Since I was in Hokkaido, I had to try the grilled hokke! I got a half portion for 750 yen. It's 1500 yen for a whole fish, but the half portion was enough if you're planning to try other dishes. It was lighter than the hokke I usually eat. The crab miso had a strong miso flavor that might not be for everyone. But when I squeezed lemon over the asparagus, it became super delicious haha. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the chippu ruibe, which is a frozen fish sashimi dish they have this season. I was told to try it next time I visit.

I walked 5 minutes from Chitose Station and had a great time at "Chitose Wari". It was a very hot day, so I started with a beer - oh, it's not draft beer. It's been a while since I had bottled beer, but it's delicious. All the dishes were tasty - butter-grilled asparagus, zangi, shrimp mayo, sashimi, and Genghis Khan fried in tempura style - a bit unusual, but maybe the best. The meat was tender and soaked in sauce. The staff were young, energetic, and the atmosphere was great at this izakaya.

For the second stop on our izakaya crawl, we came to this izakaya next to the hotel. The prices were reasonable and the food was decent. It was convenient to have an izakaya located within the hotel.

The sun had set, and at night I went to a bar for a drinking party after a long time. I'm a heavy drinker. In Japan's summer? For some reason, only I was the one drinking. Whether it was the elderly, newcomers, or ancient people, they all tried to get me drunk. Thanks to that, I ended up becoming a ferocious tiger. The food was quite delicious, so I'd like to give it a good rating, but I have work tomorrow, so I had to go home. I'm not sure about the others, as they went to a second party.

I visited the restaurant on Tuesday around 9pm. Actually, I moved to Chitose on this day! Goodbye Sapporo. I only lived in Sapporo for 5 months. I will be starting a new job in September, so I am moving to Chitose! I sent my belongings on the 22nd, but they will arrive on the 23rd. The new company provided a hotel stay for me, so I stayed at Area One Chitose. The plan did not include meals, so I bought some food at Aeon. However, I ate it in the evening and got hungry later. There is a pub called "Muramatsuri" on the first floor of the hotel, but I was already done with my bath and didn't have the courage to go to the pub alone. So, I ordered room service! They brought me Camembert cheese-filled imomochi for 540 yen. The imomochi was just a normal frozen one, deep-fried in oil and delicious. It had Camembert cheese inside, giving it a rich flavor. I thought there would be 2 pieces, but to my surprise, there were 3 pieces! A happy mistake! I am full now! What's even better is that if I leave the dishes in the hallway, they will be taken away without me having to do anything. It's convenient for me without makeup. If I had gone to the restaurant, I wouldn't have been able to leave with just one dish.

On August 26, 2016, Friday, after enjoying sushi, fresh seafood, and eel at Hokkai Hana, I decided to take a peek at this place located on the 1st floor of the accommodation area. On days with a 6 in them, it's "Village Festival" day, with draft beer for 280 yen and an eel platter for 500 yen catching my eye. I couldn't resist and ended up ordering yuzu sake, apple sake, an eel platter (grilled eel, eel liver, eel bone), a skewer platter (chicken skewer, pork skewer, heart skewer), corn tempura, and eel sushi. I ordered at the counter, where you can see them grilling the food. Compared to Hokkai Hana, the eel here was much different. While the prices are quite reasonable, if you're looking for delicious food, you might be better off trying another restaurant. But if you're just here for the draft beer, then I recommend it. Thank you for the meal.
