I bought French roast 100g, a blend of Mandheling and Toraja. The coffee beans were a bit pricey compared to the market rate, but I received a bonus of around 430g of red beans, which I found more valuable. When I opened the coffee beans at home, the aroma was a bit weak, indicating that they had been roasted for some time. When I tried the coffee, I felt a refreshing sweetness with a strong bitterness that was not overpowering, more like the lead of a pencil. It had a high quality and strong bitterness, likely due to the blend of high-quality Mandheling and Toraja. It was a bit disappointing that the flavor was not as robust as expected, probably due to the high price and low turnover leading to the beans aging after roasting.
