This is a coffee bean-only store run by an elderly lady. The atmosphere is friendly and the lady is chatty. The tea room area is no longer in operation. I bought French roast 100g, a blend of Mandheling and Toraja. The coffee beans were a bit pricey compared to the market rate, but I received a bonus of around 430g of red beans, which I found more valuable. When I opened the coffee beans at home, the aroma was a bit weak, indicating that they had been roasted for some time. When I tried the coffee, I felt a refreshing sweetness with a strong bitterness that was not overpowering, more like the lead of a pencil. It had a high quality and strong bitterness, likely due to the blend of high-quality Mandheling and Toraja. It was a bit disappointing that the flavor was not as robust as expected, probably due to the high price and low turnover leading to the beans aging after roasting. Overall, the rating is 3.2 for taste, 3.4 for service, 3.2 for atmosphere, 3.3 for value for money, and 3.2 for drinks. The address is 3-221 Hanakawa Minami 1-jo, Ishikari City, Hokkaido. Next time I may consider returning due to the price and quality factors.
