When I was looking for a second place to visit that day, I came across this restaurant and decided to check it out! Both the food and drinks were quite good! The only downside was that they ran out of the boneless chicken thigh karaage. #AkasakaMitsuke #Akasaka #Izakaya #Seseri #Karaage #CreamCheeseDish #ChickenSkinPonzu #SanmaWithPlumSauce #KakuHighball #PlumSour

The charcoal-grilled chicken at this restaurant is delicious. It may be obvious, but the staff's service was also good. It seems that they originally started as a fried chicken shop, so the fried chicken was tasty as well. I think it deserves a higher rating. It's a place I would want to visit again.

This is a relatively new izakaya that focuses on chicken dishes. The interior is stylish, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Their signature dishes are simple, while the sides feature some extra touches that add a playful twist, making it a fun experience. Personally, I think it's a great place to stop by for a quick bite as a second location.

Originally, it was a place called Gaburi Chicken on Ichitsuki Street, but it has now changed its business style to a new chicken dish izakaya. The owner and staff are wonderful, and I've been a regular since the Gaburi days. With this renovation, the quality of the food has significantly improved, and the interior is even more beautiful. Everything I tried, from the burdock root kinpira, beef tendon stew, to the grated radish with shirasu and charcoal-grilled chicken, was delicious and satisfying. I will definitely visit again!

I enjoyed a farewell party for a colleague, and we used the Trimaran course with 2-hour all-you-can-drink for 5,500 yen. The pork shabu-shabu, raised on a diet of bananas, was delicious, and it was great to have it with fresh vegetables even in summer. The clam steamed in sake and the grilled rice-ball porridge were also tasty. The all-you-can-drink option made it a reasonable and easy-to-use restaurant.

I visited the restaurant for the first time, which specializes in Miyazaki-style charcoal-grilled dishes. The interior features a counter, high tables, and terrace-style seating, all of which are nicely decorated. Today, I enjoyed charcoal-grilled chicken with vegetables and dried horse mackerel. The chicken was a bit undercooked, and the dried fish seemed like it might have been frozen; the smell was somewhat disappointing. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the drinks were delicious.

A new restaurant just opened in June 2024, located roughly halfway between Akasaka Station and Akasaka Mitsuke Station, in the spot that used to be Gaburichiken. The interior and exterior have a more sophisticated, adult-oriented vibe compared to the previous tenant. The menu mainly features local chicken. I ordered a mega highball for drinks and quickly placed my food orders.
■ Assorted Tomatoes with Rabigotto Sauce (580 yen) - Fresh and easy to eat, especially recommended on hot days.
■ Kuroiwa-Dori Grilled Thigh (2,200 yen) - I ordered the signature dish, charcoal-grilled local chicken, which is available in limited quantities. It has a deliciously savory flavor with a nice fragrance, and it's tender yet substantial—truly a delicious chicken dish.
■ Boneless Thigh Karaage (450 yen) - I couldn't skip the karaage. The crispy coating and juicy meat were irresistible. The flavor was bold, which pairs nicely with drinks.
■ Fried Eggs from Yoshiwara (270 yen) - I thought it was unique to order fried eggs. The presentation was extremely simple. As for the taste, to be honest, it lacked flavor. It felt like just an egg that had been fried.
So, that's all for this time. The staff's service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the restaurant's atmosphere left a very good impression. It's also easy to find, and it seems they are open until 1 AM on weekdays, so I definitely want to visit again.
