This is a shop located on the first floor of Goryokaku Tower that sells drinks and bread. I bought coffee and hot vinegar with apple in it. The acidity is quite strong, but the apple, which is from Shichinohe, was delicious.

At the first floor of Goryokaku Tower, I took a coffee break and had a vanilla croissant (Giffelli?). The croissant was baked perfectly with a nice crunch, and I found the vanilla inside. It wasn't too crispy, but had a good texture with a satisfying bite. Oh, it's delicious when combined with vanilla. When sightseeing, it's unsure if there's room in your stomach for pastries, but if the weather is nice, it's good to enjoy a walk while eating.

I arrived at Goryokaku Park and took a stroll around the park before taking a break. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and Goryokaku Tower was crowded, but there were some empty seats available. I bought a coffee for 250 yen, found a vacant seat, and took a rest. The cherry blossoms in Goryokaku Park were very beautiful.

Welcome. Found on the 1st floor of the Hakodate Goryokaku Park Tower in April 2019. Hello, indeed, during the cherry blossom viewing season, the line of people wanting to ride the tower might be longer than a snake? Among them, I found a place overflowing with bread, alcohol, and sweets, mostly with children and women. It's the time of year when they release the Hakodate Sakura Mix, a once-a-year treat. The base is made with special milk from Yamakawa Farm, giving it a smooth milky taste with a hint of cherry blossom flavor. It really feels like the season. I was able to feel happy. The portion size was generous and the price was reasonable.

Sweets shop inside Goryokaku Tower. It was a super sunny day during the long weekend - perfect for cherry blossom viewing with the family! We had a great time! I felt like having something sweet, so we came here.
- Anko Giffeli: 200 yen
Giffeli with lots of mustard seeds. It was filled with anko and delicious!
- Sakura Soft Serve Ice Cream
- Sakura Shake
Both looked pretty in pink and tasted great. The hint of cherry blossom flavor really lifted our spirits. We also bought some "Goryokaku Water" as a souvenir. Thank you for the meal!

After enjoying the view of Goryokaku Park from Goryokaku Tower, I purchased a drink at the first floor shop. I tried the melon juice made from Yubari melons, and it tasted just like biting into a melon! The sweetness of the melon was really prominent. It still had a bit of the texture of the melon flesh, so it truly tasted like melon juice. It's great when the taste of the ingredient comes through so clearly. Thank you for the delicious treat!

After coming down from Goryokaku Tower, I found a bakery nearby and decided to take it easy. It was almost lunchtime, so I ordered a melon juice and a farm shake from Yamakawa Farm. The melon juice tasted like biting into a whole melon, and the farm shake was incredibly rich and delicious.

On November 4, 2018 (Sunday) at 3:10 PM (as per receipt), after descending the beautiful staircase from the observatory to the second floor and then to the first floor, I found this shop. I wanted to have local beer here, but I resisted and had the Yamacawa Ranch Coffee Milk for 140 yen instead. It's made from the milk of cows that have enjoyed the blessings of nature in Lake Onuma. It was definitely delicious! I enjoyed it very much. 😊🐄

I took a break after touring Goryokaku and stopped by a shop inside the tower. I was tempted by the melon, but ended up choosing a giffel, which seemed like a croissant. I had a giffel with red bean paste and a bottle of milk for a power charge! It was delicious!

I climbed up Goryokaku Tower and enjoyed the view of Goryokaku. After that, it was snack time. "107" on the first floor of Goryokaku Tower is a shop where melons are sold as souvenirs. I didn't need a melon souvenir, so I bought a cup of cut melon for 400 yen. The half-cut melon was a good deal at 580 yen, but it was hard to carry around. The melon was delicious - sweet and tasty, just the right texture. They also had soft-serve ice cream and bread, so it's a nice place for a little break.

This is a shop on the first floor of Goryokaku Tower. They sell Sapporo Classic draft beer and Hokkaido-style soft serve ice cream. There are tables and chairs, and it's quite lively. There is a statue of Toshizo Hijikata standing next to it. What caught my eye was the Yubari melon. It was cut into bite-sized pieces and sold for 400 yen. A whole melon is sold for about 2500 yen, so I thought it was a good deal. I resisted the urge to have beer and chose the melon instead. It was sweet and juicy, and the bite-sized pieces kept the juice contained in my mouth, making it a delightful experience. It was better than Yubari melon juice. It turned into a rich juice in my mouth. I'm glad I didn't have beer. The next day, I saw Yubari melons everywhere in Hakodate as well. It was a bit chaotic with the touts, but it was calm here.
