Located in Nihonbashi Otaku Road!! With the increase in tourists during the summer vacation, the shops are thriving! Even around 1:00 PM, there were about 5 people waiting!! I already know what I want to eat today!! "Kamisoripanchi" "Nitsuke" "Ancheincustom" These are incredibly delicious!!! You should definitely try them at least once!!! Thank you for the meal!!!

This is Yuuai-Tei. I had the afternoon off today, so I decided to come and try the limited edition ramen that I've been curious about. It was already past 3 PM, but there was a long line outside the store. I waited for about 30 minutes before finally getting inside. The limited edition ramen that caught my attention was the Minami Midnight Shime-megumi Ramen. I also ordered garlic, kimchi, and negi kimchi on the side, along with a bowl of rice. I chose the Gold Dragon, which is inspired by the King Dragon Ramen. The soup was a light tonkotsu broth with added chili oil, a twist on the traditional King Dragon Ramen. The straight, thin noodles paired perfectly with the flavorful soup. The dish was topped with crunchy green onions, bean sprouts, and chewy chashu slices. I added the garlic, kimchi, and negi kimchi for an extra kick. Mixing them with rice, I created a delicious kimchi chashu rice bowl. Overall, the Minami Midnight Shime-megumi Ramen was a delightful and satisfying meal.

After walking about 5 minutes north from Exit 1A of Emisucho Station around 3 PM on a Saturday, you'll arrive at a compact restaurant with two 4-person tables and an L-shaped counter that can seat about 6 people. You order once you're seated at the counter, where the staff, including foreigners, seem to be struggling due to understaffing. After a short wait in the crowded restaurant, your ramen arrives. The appearance is just like what you'd expect from Kinryu, complete with the usual trio of condiments: kimchi, garlic, and leeks. The soup is a blend of chicken and mild pork bone, with a gently soy-flavored broth. Mixing in all the condiments adds a spicy kick from the kimchi, a bitter note from the leeks, and a fragrant touch from the garlic, transforming the light soup into a rich and flavorful one. The pork belly chashu is juicy with just the right amount of fat, offering a delicious texture. The limited-time menu will end on September 17th, and their unique and appealing specials always make it hard to choose. I'm torn between trying their regular shoyu ramen or the kamisorimen next time. Thank you for the meal.

The name of the ramen is unique, like a boxing punch.
There were autographed cards from martial artists inside the restaurant! I ordered the signature dish, "Straight Right," at Yuai-Tei.
"Straight Right" is a soy sauce ramen blended with dark and light soy sauce.
The color is close to black, giving it a rich appearance. The umami of the soy sauce is well infused, delicious! The chicken bone broth fat slightly floating on the surface adds a nice oily touch♪ The noodles are chewy straight medium-thick noodles, with a chewy texture and a strong presence that doesn't get overshadowed by the soup.
It's delicious and satisfying. Also, I recommend the mini chashu don! A bowl topped with chashu, kimchi, and green onions.
The chashu is so tender that it can be cut with chopsticks. This place is a definite repeat visit spot. Definitely give it a try! ✨

At Yuai-tei, they serve a right straight with soy sauce ramen as their specialty. The noodles have a good chewiness and the slightly rich soy sauce soup with juicy chashu is truly a knockout. Delicious. They offer six different menu options with various types of soy sauce, so I'm curious about trying the others as well.

Popular restaurant in the Nihonbashi area. I revisited around 11:30 on a weekday. The restaurant was almost full, but miraculously there was one seat available. The owner is from the famous Kankuuemon Umeda store known for their Osaka Black (dark soy sauce) ramen. The menu here is also all based on soy sauce. The menu names are all related to boxing, such as Right Straight, Razor Punch, Heavy, Left Hook, Upper, and Naniwa Joe. There is no ticket machine inside, so you order after being seated. I ordered the Heavy for 800 yen plus a boiled egg for 100 yen. The soup is a blend of dark soy sauce, with a sharp and refreshing taste from the broth. The noodles are medium straight noodles that absorb the dark soy sauce soup well, making it a perfect match. The toppings include roasted chashu, menma, green onions, and a seasoned egg. The thick and tender chashu has a satisfying texture. The restaurant is still very popular, but the narrow seating arrangement makes it difficult to eat comfortably.

In order to get a punch to wake up my sluggish body from the heat, I went to a soy sauce ramen specialty shop in Namba. I ordered the "Left Hook" for 850 yen with extra spiciness "Ponsaku" for an additional 50 yen (which includes 2 habanero peppers). The soup had white sesame floating on top and at first glance, it didn't seem too spicy. The thick and tender pork belly chashu was delicious, along with the white hair green onion and seaweed. I thought adding two ranks of spiciness wouldn't be a big deal, but boy was I wrong. The soup had a sharp kick to it, with a rich soy sauce flavor. Even though it was spicy, I couldn't resist slurping up the soup with my spoon. The straight medium-thick noodles had a nice chew to them. But as the noodles started to disappear, I realized the soup was getting redder... The punch of the Japanese killer Ponsaku was quite a blow, and I ended up unable to finish the soup, so I guess you could say I lost by knockout (laughs). I was hoping for a wake-up call, but did the damage from the spiciness have something to do with it? Later that night, I experienced another defeat at the Kyocera Dome...

Long time no see~ (5 years since last visit!?) to the shoyu ramen specialty shop in Namba Nihonbashi. I went for the limited summer cold noodles! Zaru Chuka that caught my eye, and I just had to try it~ Visit on August 27th: Despite it being a crowded Sunday in Namba Nihonbashi at 2:30 PM, there was still a line outside this popular shop "Yuuatei". Customers were slurping their noodles~ I ordered the regular menu item, which had a unique name! There was a special deal until 3 PM (this time for individual items only). Zaru Chuka - Medium (300g) for 900 yen. First, I enjoyed the chewy whole wheat noodles as they were, then dipped them in the rich sauce with a large seared chashu topped with spicy bonito flakes, dried sardines, dried shiitake mushrooms, and plenty of flavorful broth. The naruto and chashu were also delicious when soaked in the sauce. Finished every last drop of the soup~ (the broth was so good that I even drank it all up). I actually wanted to go for the 500g noodles with chashu rice bowl set for a super full stomach, but since I plan on having noodles again next time...I held back and refrained from overeating (lol). Thank you for the meal! I went on Sunday afternoon. There were 3 people waiting in line, but we were able to enter almost immediately. There were various flavors, but since it was my first time, I chose the basic flavor, the Right Straight. The name is quite unique, so it was a bit difficult to order, haha. They also had a rice bowl on discount until 3pm, so I decided to try the Chashu bowl. When the dishes arrived, the black appearance made a strong impression. The large Chashu looked tender and delicious. The soy sauce flavor was rich but not overpowering, making it easy to eat. The noodles were thin and easy to slurp. The hint of pepper added a nice touch to the dish. The Chashu bowl had thickly sliced Chashu with a good texture, and paired well with the kimchi. Both the ramen and rice were delicious and we finished them quickly. As we left the restaurant, we saw about 10 people waiting in line, showing how popular it is. With so many other menu options, I would love to come back again. - Right Straight: 850 yen - Mini Chashu Bowl: 250 yen

This is Yuuai-tei. It's a city in Osaka, Minami, Nipponbashi, known for electronics, otaku culture, and tourists. Today, there are many tourists shopping for anime and electronics. It's around 4 pm, a good time for a break. They are open from 11 am to 5 pm, which is convenient. Today's menu is Kamisoripanchi. It has sausages, boiled eggs, and a hint of garlic on top. The clear chicken broth soup with light soy sauce is delicious, and the thin noodles are cooked slightly firm. The flavors blend well, and the texture of the green onions and thinly sliced bamboo shoots is great. The seasoned boiled egg and a touch of garlic chips on top go well with the light soy sauce soup, adding a nice punch to the broth. The thick and flavorful chashu is tender and tasty. The sausage on top adds a crispy texture and a hint of spice to the delicious light soy sauce ramen. It's a perfect example of soy sauce ramen, a delicious bowl.

This is a ramen shop located in a back alley of Osaka's otaku district known as "Otaro." I arrived after 1 pm and there were about 5 people waiting outside and 2 people waiting inside. I came here specifically for the limited menu item that I saw on social media and was excited to see it on the menu. There was a note saying it was limited to 30 servings... Did I mess up? It took longer than expected, about 45 minutes, but I finally got a seat. While waiting inside, I was asked for my order in advance, and I ordered the zaru chuka. And there it was! The zaru chuka! I was happy! It seems like most people order the regular menu items here. The name I heard the most was "Kamisoripanchi." After sitting down, my order arrived in about 15 minutes! The medium-thick flat noodles and the shiny black soup with a floating egg yolk looked like a full moon in the dark night... (poetic expression) It looked delicious... I immediately dipped the noodles in the soup and took a bite... It was incredibly delicious... The umami of the seafood, especially the bonito flakes, was prominent. The soy sauce's saltiness, sweetness, and sourness were rich, and the whole wheat noodles had a nice firmness that paired well with the soup. The slightly chewy medium-thick flat noodles were refreshing and easy to slurp, and the sesame flavor and crunchy texture added to the enjoyment. The crunchy texture of the menma added a nice touch to the chewing experience. Adding green onions to the soup enhanced the flavor and texture even more, and when I tried the charred chashu with the mustard that was on it, the aroma of the charred surface was fragrant, and the umami of the broth and fat spread in my mouth. Mixing the egg to add thickness and having it with the mustard's spiciness made the dish even more irresistible. The soup was so delicious that I finished it all! It was a very refreshing bowl of ramen! I should have ordered the large serving...

A for-Real (A for Real) by Mizuki Shoji. The ramen menu was inspired by boxing, and the restaurant was filled with lots of boxers' signatures. I ordered the Naniwa Joker Razor Punch ramen. Each ramen has its own unique soup and characteristics, so I was impressed by the attention to detail. The Katsuobushi-based Naniwa Joe ramen was delicious, and my child even asked for seconds! The restaurant was playing boxing songs, so it felt like we were guided there by fate.笑

I was torn between trying the limited cold noodles for my first visit, but I was in the mood for something hearty so I stuck to my initial choice and ordered the heavy option. I topped it with a boiled egg, one slice of chashu, and mixed garlic. The medium-thick noodles required a longer boiling time. The bowl arrived with a pitch-black soy sauce ramen, with garlic not overpowering the broth. The soup was delicious, especially towards the bottom. I tried the two slices of chashu and they were also delicious. The soft-boiled egg was perfectly seasoned. I will definitely be coming back for more. Gotta try both the straight and hook next time!

I visited a soy sauce ramen specialty shop located a short distance from Sakaisuji, about 10 minutes from Namba, Osaka. The interior of the shop was characterized by product names inspired by boxing, making it very unique. I ordered the basic ramen called "Right Straight" and a butter soy sauce rice dish called "Buta Gohan". Since there was also a high-ida style ramen on the menu, I had the impression that the soup would be salty. However, the ramen served was a soy sauce ramen with a slight sweetness to it. I thought I liked soy sauce ramen, but I realized that I prefer the traditional or strongly salty soy sauce ramen. Nonetheless, it was a ramen shop where the passion and craftsmanship of the owner shone through. You can feel their passion and dedication to cooking. In conclusion, the taste did not suit my preference (which is my own issue, I apologize), but I would recommend this shop to those interested in the evolved version of soy sauce ramen!

This is Yuuai-tei. It was another scorching hot day all over Japan. This time, I had a late lunch, around 3 pm. The restaurant had a few customers, as it was after the lunch rush. I ordered the limited special, Zaru Chuka. It came with flat-edged, slightly colored medium noodles, topped with green onions, bamboo shoots, and mustard, with a piece of seared chashu and chopped seaweed on top. The homemade dipping sauce was made with dried fish, bonito flakes, and dried shiitake mushrooms. It also had green onions, sesame seeds, and a raw egg yolk as toppings. I dipped the noodles in the sauce, enjoying the seafood flavor with the soy sauce richness and sweetness, all blending nicely. The chopped seaweed added a good flavor too. The bamboo shoots were crunchy, and the green onions added a nice touch. Mixing the raw egg yolk with the noodles made it mild and delicious. The mustard gave it a bit of a kick, which was also tasty. The seared chashu was fragrant and tender, adding to the overall enjoyment of the dish. After finishing the noodles, I diluted the dipping sauce with cold water and drank it as a refreshing way to end the meal. It was a perfect cold and delicious dish for a hot day.

I finally went to this place that I've been curious about for a while. I arrived around 4 pm and there was no wait. The interior of the restaurant is filled with autographed posters of fighters! The menu here is compared to boxing, which is quite unique. This time, I ordered the Left Hook ramen for 850 yen! Recommended for those who like spicy food! You can choose the level of spiciness! It has a stimulating spiciness, rich soy sauce flavor, and umami that makes it addictive! The flat medium noodles are also delicious. This is Yuai-tei. It's lunchtime on the weekend. I finished my errands and it's a little past 11 AM. The restaurant is already full inside, with a line forming outside. I joined the line and waited for about 20 minutes before getting inside. The line behind me kept growing. This time, I tried the ultimate refreshing dish, a limited quantity special: Cold ramen with a refreshing taste of sea bream and sudachi citrus. The cold sea bream broth with sudachi citrus added was light and delicious, the thin noodles were perfectly cooked in water, and the cold sea bream broth with sudachi citrus soup was a great match. The texture of the watercress was good, and the fragrance of myoga was nice. Wrapping the noodles in seaweed was also delicious. The acidity of the tomato went well with the cold soup, and the chicken chashu had a meaty texture and was deliciously seared. I also had a bowl of rice with raw egg. Mixing the egg into the rice with the soy sauce on the table was also delicious. It was a light and refreshing meal with the egg rice, perfect for summer.

After walking about 5 minutes north from Exit 1A of Emisucho Station a little after 3 pm on Sunday, I found a compact restaurant where you can see two 4-person tables and an L-shaped counter that can seat about 6 people. After sitting at the counter, you place your order and wait a bit for your bowl of noodles to arrive. The slightly cloudy clear salt soup and curly medium-thin noodles reminded me of Acecook's wonton noodles. The home-style arrangement with lettuce and ham is interesting. The soft-boiled egg yolk changes its taste when melted into the soup, which is nice. Under the toppings, there is a large wonton that is soft and delicious. The soup has a light and delicious taste, and I enjoyed this interesting ramen. This is a limited-time offer until July 16th. Thank you for the meal.

This is Yuuai Tei. Located in Osaka, Minami, a city known for its electric atmosphere, otaku culture, and tourists. It's a ramen shop specializing in shoyu ramen. There are a few customers already seated. Today's special is the Acecook Wonton Men-inspired ramen, limited to those who love Acecook Wonton Men. If you've never tried it, please refrain from ordering as the owner is a big fan. The soup closely resembles Acecook Wonton Men, with a deliciously salty flavor that fans will love. The slightly curly medium-thin noodles pair well with the soup. The toppings are a homemade twist, with green onions, lettuce, and ham standing in for the traditional chashu. And of course, a sunny-side-up egg. Breaking the yolk into the soup adds a mild and tasty touch. I always add eggs when making Wonton Men at home. I recommend adding some black pepper from the table for an extra kick. This bowl faithfully replicates the deliciousness of Acecook Wonton Men.

Ranked in the top 5000 on Tabelog with an overall rating of 3.69, I visited the restaurant on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 1:05 pm. I ordered the "Kamisori Punch" for 800 yen, the "Takaida Cross" for 800 yen with an additional boiled egg for 100 yen, and the "Right Straight" for 850 yen. I had been wanting to visit this place for a while, but they had suspended evening operations, so I finally had the opportunity to go. Upon arriving at the restaurant, there were two people waiting outside, and I joined the line. After waiting for 15 minutes, we were seated. The restaurant was always full, with customers constantly coming and going. It's definitely popular. I was planning to try the "Right Straight" since it was my first visit, but I was drawn to the visual appeal of the "Kamisori Punch" and decided to go for that. My wife, who doesn't particularly like thin noodles, chose the thick noodles of the "Takaida Cross." The noodles of the "Kamisori Punch" were round and thin, with a smooth and pleasant texture. The soup had a refined taste with a strong soy sauce flavor, which was really delicious. The round slices of chashu were incredibly tender and flavorful. The noodles of the "Takaida Cross" were advertised as thick, but they were more like medium thickness for a soup noodle dish. The soup, similar to the Takaida Black series, was rich and tasty, with a slightly milder punch since it didn't contain black pepper. Both dishes were unexpectedly delicious, and I was so impressed that I decided to order the "Right Straight" as well. The noodles were round and thin, similar to the "Kamisori Punch," and the soup was incredibly flavorful, leaving me in awe. The simplicity and balance of the soy sauce seasoning and soup made it incredibly delicious. The attentive and courteous service also left a positive impression on me.
