I visited "Puchipanpukin" after a long time. I was near the area for work, so I decided to have lunch there. I was really hungry, so I originally wanted the pork cutlet curry, but I thought it might make me sleepy and affect my work, so I went for the pumpkin soup with mini bread instead. The soup had a gentle taste with a slight sweetness of pumpkin. I was really hungry, so I finished it quickly. The warm soup made me feel cozy. I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

This shop is located right next to Nakajima Koen Station. I stayed at Hotel North City nearby and came here for lunch. The interior of the shop has a few steps leading to higher tables, but that area looked like a storage space with manga books lined up. It would be nice if they cleaned up and returned the tables to their original positions, making the shop look more stylish. It's a shame. The front tables are rarely full, but the top of the big table in the front is quite cluttered with various items. They have been in business for about 20 years, so regular customers might be used to it, but for first-time visitors, it might be a bit off-putting. It could be comforting for regulars, like visiting a friend's living room. As long as it's not too unclean, I'm okay with a bit of clutter. ☆■ Pork Cutlet Curry (950 yen) *Comes with salad I was in the mood for a hearty meal, so I chose the pork cutlet curry. The cutlet wasn't very big (about 80g?), but it was delicious. I like pickled radish, so I appreciated the extra serving. The salad portion was quite generous as well. I was planning to have a drink leisurely after returning to the hotel, but they offered me a coffee as a service because they had just brewed a fresh pot. Thank you. I might stay at Hotel North City again in the future, so I might visit this shop again. Thank you for the meal. ☆

I visited for lunch. I found this place on Tabelog. This time, I ordered "Katsu Curry." The freshly fried cutlet! It goes really well with the curry, so delicious♫ Katsu curry never disappoints! If the cutlet were a bit bigger, it would be perfect (^ ^) I would like to come back to eat here again when I am nearby. Thank you for the meal٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I returned to Nakajima Park from my hometown in Noboribetsu by high-speed bus, earlier than usual. I was feeling hungry and needed to eat something, but I had no plan. It was a little past 1 pm on Sunday, and the door was open, but was the restaurant open? I peeked inside, and the owner said, "We're open!" There was a plastic threshold about 10cm high at the entrance - I wonder why? Despite feeling hungry, I entered. There were no other customers before or after me. I sat at a table by the window, which looked a bit worn out. When I sat on the chair, it sank a bit. The surroundings were neat, but not very appealing. I ordered the Pizza Toast Set for 850 yen, which came with salad and a drink. I chose iced coffee. The food arrived in about 15 minutes - it looked delicious! The thick mountain-shaped bread was topped with bell peppers, salami, and lots of melted cheese. The salad had lettuce, cabbage, bell peppers, and I could hear the sound of chopping. I enjoyed the cold iced coffee with just milk. It was tasty, but I didn't like the cluttered atmosphere. There was also a drinking set on the menu, but I declined. I spent 35 minutes there and paid 850 yen. I was careful not to trip over the plastic threshold as I left. Afterward, I visited the Hokkaido Literature Museum to see the Ukiyo-e exhibition "Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido Road," which is on display until August 18th. Don't miss it!

Cocoa. It has a rich taste. It's a cozy cafe. If it were in a good location, I might end up going there often.

I had known about this restaurant for many years, but I always just passed by on my bike without going in. Finally, I decided to go for lunch! When I entered, there was a fence-like barrier at the entrance, and I had to ask if it was okay to step over it. The atmosphere inside the restaurant felt like visiting a relative's house. It was cozy but a bit cluttered. There was a regular customer already inside, eating at a table in the center surrounded by various items. I assumed the restaurant focused on pumpkin dishes, so I ordered the "Pumpkin Gratin (with bread and salad) for 800 yen." I had to wait for over 15 minutes, probably because gratin takes time to prepare. The bread that came with it was not tasty, and the salad was more like a small side dish. The main dish, the gratin, was disappointingly small in portion. I had high hopes for a luxurious amount of pumpkin in it, but unfortunately, it was mostly bread. Even though I tried to be positive, the dish did not match its price in terms of quantity and quality. The pumpkin itself was delicious, but it was not enough to satisfy my appetite. It was a shame that they couldn't make the most of such a good ingredient. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I had always been curious about the pumpkin sign outside the restaurant, which had a dim atmosphere. I decided to enter because I heard that such places often have delicious food. The shop was run by a woman on her own, and it seemed a bit neglected as it had been operating for a long time and had many elderly regular customers. The interior was a bit messy. As for the food, the pumpkin dishes were amazing, even though the portions were small. They had various dishes like gratin, and I ended up trying them all after visiting multiple times. They also offered regular light meals for lunch, but I recommend trying the pumpkin dishes. Once you become a regular, you can enjoy pleasant conversations and receive good service. I have even recommended this place to my friends.
