Welcome! In February 2013, I went to a place in Ishikari City, Hanakawa, where there are not many people unless they have business there. I relied on my iPhone for navigation in the confusing streets of Ishikari Hanakawa, where there are many houses and branching roads, making it easy to get lost. Feeling mentally distressed, I decided to take a break and ended up at a yakitori restaurant. The restaurant had an old-fashioned look, with older customers hanging around. The double doors at the entrance were typical of the heavy snowfall area. As I sat down, I was greeted by a cool master and some servers, who were calm and welcoming. They offered me a children's drink in three sizes - small (350cc), medium (500cc), and large (three times the medium size). The large size was as big as a 1.5-liter bottle! The appetizer was cabbage with a sprinkle of salt. If you wanted more salt, you could add it yourself. The recommended dish was the chicken neck with sesame sauce, which I ordered along with some yakitori. The master was busy grilling yakitori on charcoal, while the servers were bustling around serving drinks and attending to customers. The atmosphere was lively, with the sound of customers chewing on cabbage filling the air. The yakitori was delicious and I particularly enjoyed the chicken liver and chicken neck. The pork skewers were also excellent, with two types of pork available. The grilled rice balls with cheese were a unique and tasty dish to end the meal. Overall, the restaurant had a good mix of young and older customers, and the staff were polite and attentive. I had a great dining experience!
