We showed up at the second party with 7 people without a reservation. The open terrace will be available soon! We were told to wait, so they offered one free drink per person! We happily waited. The staff was kind, and there was a wide selection of sake. It's a great restaurant. Next time, I want to have a proper meal for the first party.

I made a reservation for 6:30 PM and went to the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant has two floors, and in the summer, they seem to circulate the air with a fan. It wasn't too hot. They had sashimi, gyoza, and meat sashimi, all of which were quite delicious. It's also conveniently located near Sapporo Station. Thank you for the meal.

I searched for a place to drink near Sapporo Station. I happened to find a restaurant with a sign that said, "I love both tuna and dumplings (♡∀♡〃). The dumplings are filled with so much juicy meat, not just one bite but like xiaolongbao, so make sure to savor the meat juice! Plain and pickled mustard greens flavors are available. They are delicious even without soy sauce. The Paradise Platter of real tuna is a great selection of the best parts of tuna, and the sushi rolls are also made perfectly with just the right amount of rice firmness (lol). It costs 2580 yen and I am very satisfied."

I was taken there by an acquaintance, and everything from the sashimi, Genghis Khan, and zangi was delicious. The all-you-can-drink option had a wide variety, and the staff's service was very pleasant and excellent. I would love to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance.

I've been craving dumplings a lot lately, so I looked up Shigi39 in the north entrance of Sapporo. I had to make a reservation because they only allow entry at 5:00 pm. They have counter seats and tables on the second floor. The staff are mostly young. They offer all-you-can-drink options, but you can also order drinks individually. Their famous dishes are tuna and dumplings. I ordered medium fatty tuna, plain, and pickled mustard leaf and mentaiko dumplings, egg tempura, and a huge tsukune. The tuna was fresh and delicious, and the dumplings come in various types, so you can enjoy different flavors. The tsukune is as big as a hamburger and incredibly tasty! The prices are a bit on the higher side. With a wide range of menu options, it seems like you won't get tired of visiting this place. Thank you for the meal!

In the past, there used to be various options for lunch like ramen, but the business has changed. It was my first visit for dinner. The drink-all-you-can options are divided into 3 levels: chu-hai drinks, beer included, and sake included. There are delicious-looking sake bottles lined up in the fridge. A 180ml cup of sake costs 1,400 yen. The 90ml size is half the price, but for those who love sake, it's just two sips. So, the drink-all-you-can option with sake costs 2,200 yen? I think that was it. My spouse and I decided on that. The lamb sashimi and daikon tempura were delicious and paired well with the sake. The daikon had a seasoned taste and was sprinkled with pepper, which was nice. I had daikon tempura for the first time. This place is great for sake lovers. For those who are not into sake, there are also beer and chu-hai options available. The gyoza was also delicious. The menu was carefully selected. Sake is self-service here. But sometimes it may not be to your liking, so I poured a little into the glass, sipped it, and then filled it to the top. It felt like I was standing and drinking, haha. I returned the sake bottle to the fridge. It feels a bit awkward, but pouring and drinking by yourself is not much different from usual. The young lady next to us at the counter seemed to be enjoying her drink. My spouse and I, as an old couple, may not have exciting topics to talk about, but we had fun comparing different types of sake. Dreams are gradually becoming reality. Maybe it's true that we don't have dreams. I realized that self-realization is a complicated issue.

It was a really wonderful restaurant. I had been curious about it every time I went to the legal affairs bureau. After returning from Hakodate to Sapporo on an intercity bus, I braved the freezing cold to pull my suitcase and visit this place. From the entrance, just looking at it made my mouth water. The dishes were truly delicious, and they made me want to drink some beautiful sake. I tried other dishes as well, and honestly, looking back now, they all make my mouth water. And above all, the sake was delicious. They have a wide selection. With the all-you-can-drink option including sake, you can choose from the bottles lined up in the two refrigerators, and you can help yourself to the ones on the bottom two shelves. You can even choose your own glass, which is fun and delightful, and most of the options are made from ingredients like rice and rice malt, which are beautiful and enjoyable. The service from the staff is concise, polite, and thoughtful, anticipating every need before you even realize it. I have fallen in love with this place. Thank you for the wonderful meal. I will definitely go back ❤️

I walked under a meaningful noren curtain and entered a clean and tidy interior. I was seated at the end of the counter, which made me feel comfortable. I love raw meat, so I was having a hard time deciding what to order. There were many types of sake that caught my attention, but I had to work the next day so I decided to skip the sake this time. In addition to raw meat, there were also plenty of oden and skewered items. And there were so many types of dumplings! I ordered the guts and tongue for the raw meat, both of which had a great texture and were addictive. The guts tasted even better when paired with garlic! I ordered daikon radish and chikuwa for the oden. The daikon radish was much larger than I had imagined. Both the daikon radish and chikuwa had a rich flavor! I'm curious about the other ingredients as well. I ordered plain dumplings, which were also delicious. The filling had a flavorful taste, so they were delicious even as they were. I also ordered tsukune, which took quite a while to cook but was so delicious that I felt grateful for the time spent on it. Everything was delicious... I want to try them with sake next time! Thank you for the meal.

- Restaurant Name: Shigi39 - Location: Sapporo Station - Budget: 6000-8000 yen - Ordered Menu: - Garlic Saba - Chicken heart sashimi - Legendary Motsu miso skewer - Lamb and cumin dumplings - Tuna teppanyaki - Corn tempura We, a group of volunteers from a company basketball team who also run a sauna club, recently went on a trip to Hokkaido. It was our first time in Hokkaido, and we were excited to explore the city and enjoy some gourmet food. On our last day in Sapporo, before heading back home, we decided to stop by this restaurant. The restaurant had a variety of sake options displayed in a refrigerated case, and they offered a drink-all-you-want sake menu, with some options requiring an additional charge. This was a great environment for sake lovers. We ordered the menu items listed above, and each dish paired perfectly with the sake. The dishes had a creative touch to them, making the dining experience interesting. While there wasn't a particular dish that stood out, the tuna teppanyaki was visually appealing and delicious, making it a fun dish to share with friends. Being conveniently located near the station, this restaurant is a great choice for those looking to enjoy sake in Sapporo. If you're seeking good food, I recommend checking out places near Sapporo Station, as opposed to the more chain-like establishments in Susukino. Thank you for the wonderful meal. We will definitely be back.

I stayed at a hotel near Sapporo Kita-guchi and searched for izakayas, and found this place nearby. It's called Shigi, which caught my attention. It's about a 5-minute walk. There were no other customers at 5:30 PM, so it seemed like a hidden gem. I ordered pork tongue skewers, legendary motsu-ni (offal stew), and pork skewers. I also opted for the cheapest all-you-can-drink option for 90 minutes. The legendary motsu-ni was not miso-flavored but spicy, which went well with the drinks. It was satisfying, so I paid ¥3000 and left with change. I still had energy left, so I decided to go to another place for drinks.

After work, we made a detour to the Satsueki area with 4 people. - All-you-can-drink (2 hours) - Appetizer (amberjack sashimi) - Beef skirt sashimi - Chicken heart skewers - Lantern skewers x2 - Chicken thigh skewers x2 - Bonjiri skewers x2 - Chicken liver skewers x2 - Assorted dumplings - Inca fried potatoes - Iwakami ginger - Edamame with perilla flavor The amberjack sashimi appetizer was fresh and delicious. The dumplings had a nice crispy texture. It was a long time since I last had a detour with my colleagues, so the conversation was lively. I almost forgot to take photos of the food... Please refer to other reviewers for pictures (lol). All the dishes were reasonably priced and delicious. The warm and friendly service from the staff was also great! I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Arrived at 7:00 pm on a regular day. Reservation for 2 people. Located at Sapporo Station North Exit. This is the third restaurant in the "Shigi" series! I often go to "36" near Nishi 11-chome Station. Upon entering, we were asked to take our temperature using a monitor-type machine. The menu is touchscreen. As expected, this is a relatively new store. We ordered the '120-minute all-you-can-drink beer + fruit liquor' set (1408 yen) for each person, where you need to order at least 2 items costing over 370 yen each. The beer was a fragrant ale. The appetizer was simmered baby scallops. The food we ordered included: - Chicken white liver sashimi (605 yen): A signature dish of the "Shigi" series. It's cooked at a low temperature but tastes very close to raw and delicious! - Marinated eggs (418 yen): First time trying this despite seeing it online. It has a rich flavor with a hint of junk food vibe, and it's delicious! The yolk is runny! - Cheese and Iburi Gakko (462 yen): Not cream cheese but a flavorful smoked cheese, balanced with Iburi Gakko! - Tuna medium fatty toro from Tsukiji (638 yen): Unlike other branches, this restaurant only serves this one sashimi dish. The texture is great, though the sinew is a bit noticeable. - Plain gyoza (370 yen): A distinctive feature here is the variety of gyoza available. 4 pieces, small but juicy! They provide vinegar, pepper, and chili oil on the table. - Salted tripe stew (580 yen): The staff recommended this dish, although it's not on the menu. It has a pork bone-like soup base with diced daikon and konjac. - Beef sagari sashimi (748 yen): This was not available at other branches. It's tender and delicious! - Lamb and cumin gyoza (520 yen): The cumin flavor kicks in later, giving it an ethnic taste! Not too strong lamb scent. - Large bamboo shoot (250 yen): Oden. It's big, but the staff offered to cut it for us. - Clam dashi rolled omelette (638 yen): The rolled omelette is soaked in dashi broth, giving it a unique visual. The taste was average. The overall dining experience was satisfyingly delicious. The liver sashimi at "Shigi" felt the closest to raw. The other dishes maintained the usual "Shigi" quality! The bill came to around 3500 yen per person. Will definitely come back!

I visited around 1 pm on a regular day. It was crowded, but I managed to find a seat. I checked the menu at the ticket machine and decided on the saury tempura rice bowl. The bowl was filled with small pieces of saury. They told me to transfer some to the plate underneath and eat. The saury was crispy and delicious. It had a different taste compared to larger saury tempura. Next time, I want to try the sashimi dishes.

A shop located about a 3-minute walk from Sapporo Station North Exit. Invited by an acquaintance, I went with another person. Today's luxurious assorted sashimi for 1628 yen (medium fatty tuna, black rockfish, flounder, tuna lean meat, yellowtail, salmon, sweet shrimp) Hokkaido sashimi is delicious. The black rockfish was exceptional! Among them, what was most impressive was the lamb loin sashimi for 528 yen. The lamb loin is cooked at low temperature. It was thick, milky, and incredibly delicious. Also, black tuna marinated in truffle soy sauce, sagari sashimi (low-temperature cooked), zangi, and corn tempura. Everything was delicious, but the corn tempura was the best I've ever had. All-you-can-drink beer... I don't remember how many I had (laughs). If you like sake, you'll be impressed... There were many 1-liter bottles in the fridge, and you could drink as much as you liked! It was delicious.

I felt like eating tuna, so I remembered that there was a place around here. It was the fourth restaurant in a group that I had never been to before, so I decided to give it a try. As I was about to enter, I saw a ticket machine inside the restaurant. There was also a sign for ramen, so I was a bit worried if I was in the right place. However, the staff welcomed me and explained that they serve ramen during the daytime. I sat at the counter on the first floor and started drinking alone. The all-you-can-drink option started at 980 yen, including beer, so I decided to go for it. There was a condition that I had to order at least two items, excluding tuna and wagyu, priced at 400 yen or more. While I was deciding on my order, another customer came in and ordered "just a little drink." The staff brought out a menu from somewhere else... I wish they had shown me the menu from the beginning. I changed my mindset and decided to enjoy the all-you-can-drink option. I ordered extra thick menma and cold tofu, and of course, tuna sashimi. The complimentary dish was egg soup, which was warm and tasty, although a bit on the salty side. I enjoyed a cold beer with green onion menma, which paired well together. The cold tofu helped balance out the spiciness, making it a relaxing solo drinking experience. The staff asked about my drink at the right times. With their assistance, I was able to fully enjoy the all-you-can-drink option. The tuna was a bit small, and the menu was quite limited, probably due to the current circumstances. Nevertheless, I was grateful for the meal and cheered on the restaurant. I ended up having about five beers, feeling like I got a good deal, and had a pleasant solo drinking experience. Next time, I think I'll try the "just a little drink" option. That's the feeling I have.

I walked a bit to get to this restaurant, which is located in a location where popular items tend to sell out quickly. Unfortunately, the tuna was sold out and the chicken liver was finished, so I had to settle for limited food options while enjoying a Jim Beam highball. In the end, I had pork tongue sashimi, fried chicken, grated yam with seaweed, and corn tempura. The food was delicious as always, but the accessibility, sold-out items, and limited menu options were a bit of a downside. Luckily, I was able to enjoy my highball at the counter where they served it right in front of me. Thank you for the meal~

At the entrance, there is probably a ramen lunch ticket vending machine. The first floor seems to have only a counter? I was guided to the second floor. It's been a while since I listened to jazz at Shigi-san. Here, it's 390 yen. There are 3 types of all-you-can-drink, with the most reasonable being 980 yen. It's limited to 2 items per person, but wagyu and skewers are not included. I wanted to eat wagyu and sea urchin sushi, but they said there was no sea urchin available, so I had wagyu sushi. It was 400 yen. It was not too fatty, more like medium fatty. Actually, I had eaten at a port town during the day, so it felt a bit watery. Still, at around 400 yen, it's okay. The homemade clam kimchi is highly recommended. The ankimo ponzu and chicken liver soy sauce marinade were also great. The purple shiso edamame appetizer was very delicious and my favorite. There were many menu items I wanted to try. The portions are small and the prices are reasonable, making it easy to satisfy your desire to try various dishes. I drank barley shochu sour continuously. There were temperature checks and disinfection at the entrance, but the table seats on the second floor were full, with no partitions or barriers, so it was a bit crowded. The measures are starting to affect my evaluation. They have a happy hour from 3 pm, where you get 3 drinks and 2 dishes for 1500 yen. Definitely check it out. Thank you for the meal!

After work in August 2020, I casually stopped by JR Sapporo Station's north exit area, just a 5-minute walk from the 13th exit or maybe 1 minute from the 13th exit. Shigi, with four locations in Sapporo, specializes in fresh seafood directly from Toyosu and Wagyu beef. They offer a great all-you-can-drink option. The first floor has a counter, while the second floor has tables. You can enjoy a beer outside in the summer. A draft beer (Sapporo) costs 320 yen for a medium-sized glass, which may have a bit too much foam, but it's cold and delicious. The appetizer, shiso-flavored edamame, costs 200 yen. The famous Wagyu beef skewer costs 380 yen and is absolutely delicious. The recommended special of the day, fresh tuna, costs 300 yen. It may be a cut near the fatty part, but the taste is excellent for the price. I also had a refill of white wine for 390 yen. The menu prices are excluding tax. I had two drinks and the total bill was around 1,750 yen. Depending on what you order, it can be cheap if you choose wisely or expensive if you don't think about it. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

The catch curtain is nice◎. It's a budget-friendly place, but the interior is stylish, making it already a popular spot. Looking at the menu, there are so many options to choose from. The second floor has all table seats with wooden tables and square chairs. On the first floor, there is a counter in a U-shape, and it seems quite crowded. The staff members seem to be working hard to keep up with the demand. Now, let's start with a fragrant ale and order some dishes...*Thai-style simmered fish*Wagyu beef skewers*Pork sushi rolls with pickled ginger. The appetizer is purple shiso edamame, which is nice. There were many tempting menu items, but all customers seemed to be eagerly waiting for their food, so I decided not to order more. The part-time staff members are really working hard, and they are doing their best to apologize for any missed orders. The quality of the ingredients is high, so I have high hopes for their future growth. The owner is constantly moving around, but it seems like they are struggling to keep up with the demand. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.
