I like white mold cheese, but I prefer to eat salami with casing. Taste-wise, it's better that way. Also, since there are holes in the bag, the salami will gradually harden if left in it. It's best to tie the bag to store it. Villa Ghirini Snack, an Italian cheese aged for over a year, is a semi-hard type that is perfect for grating over dishes like Parmigiano. It has a rich flavor and a fragrant aroma. Coeur de la Loire, a washed-type cheese from the French region of Pays de la Loire, is rich, creamy, and has a fragrant taste, making it perfect for red wine. This cheese might be my favorite among washed cheeses. Croumier Montpelier, a white mold cheese from France, has a firm exterior and a creamy, rich, and sweet interior that melts in your mouth. The next morning, I tried spreading it on toast. When I opened the lid, it looked just like yokan (sweet jelly). I thought, "I might have made a mistake," but after stirring it with a spoon, it reached a good consistency, and I felt relieved. The chestnut flavor is not very strong, so I was a bit disappointed. I spread it on my partner's toast without saying anything. He thought I had spread sweet bean paste and said it was delicious. Well, it's not sweet bean paste, but if it's delicious, that's good! I decided to let my partner finish this one, and I will go look for something else to try. Peanut cream seems like a safe choice. Jupiter is always fun to visit.

This is our favorite shop where we never run out of coffee - Jupiter New Sapporo Store. This shop regularly offers 30% off or half price on coffee, which makes us happy. So, we tend to buy a little extra and store it in the freezer. The staff is always friendly and helpful, with a smile on their face. For the past year, we have only been buying "Colombian" coffee from here. After trying about five different types of beans, we found that the balance of bitterness and acidity in Colombian coffee suits our taste the best. Plus, it's within our budget for daily consumption. Items purchased this time: - Colombian Coffee / Regular price 637 yen, discounted to 446 yen per bag (bought 3 bags and stored 2 in the freezer). - Truffle Chocolate (Orange) / Regular price 507 yen, discounted to 428 yen per bag (until December 31, still 428 yen). This was our first time trying this chocolate. It's a soft truffle chocolate coated in cocoa, which melts in your mouth. The orange flavor is also strong and adds a nice touch. It's made with artificial flavors, but still delicious. The combination of coffee and chocolate is always the best. We'll definitely visit again!

I always buy my usual "boursin" cheese at "Jupiter" in Shin Sapporo. I haven't seen this cheese sold anywhere else recently. I feel a sense of fear that if they stop carrying it here, I won't be able to get it anymore. It's one of the staples in my freezer. It's delicious when drizzled over carpaccio or sprinkled on salad. It's also tasty when mixed into dressing or spread on buttered toast, although it may feel a bit high in calories. My favorite beer was on sale! It's a Mexican beer called Day of the Dead HEFEWEIZEN, inspired by the Day of the Dead. There are four varieties imported to Japan, each with its own unique taste, but this one is quite easy to drink. It's an amber-colored, cloudy beer with sediment at the bottom, said to be good for the body, so of course, I'll have a drink! I bought a total of 22 bottles, so I can enjoy beer for a while.

This store relocated as part of the renovation of the large commercial facility in this area. I have always used this store before and after the relocation, but I suddenly remembered that I had not reviewed it since it moved to this location. So, this time, I decided to look for something suitable for a review. As usual, I headed straight to the wine section. Even though I don't always buy, I always start from here. This time, as I was browsing, my wife mentioned, "Father's Day is next week, should we buy something?" I was surprised. I usually give my wife her favorite rosé wine for Mother's Day, so she wanted to reciprocate. I was grateful for the gesture and got into the mood as well. She said I could choose one bottle that she would buy for me. So, with that in mind, I started looking around the store. However, I always end up being indecisive when it comes to choosing. Jupiter Shin Sapporo store has a wide variety of wines from different countries, making it difficult for me to decide. After browsing for a while, I came across a German wine called "Bacharacher Taferlwein Red" (810 yen tax included). The label mentioned that it is a light-bodied wine with a fruity flavor. German wines are not easy to find in regular liquor stores, and I had always wanted to try a red one. So, I decided to go for it as the bottle my wife would buy for me. However, my wife suggested that we should go for something of higher quality for Father's Day. So, I agreed and we chose a Bordeaux Supérieur Château Moulin de l'Esperance 2010 (2950 yen tax included) from the French wine section. It had a delicate and balanced taste with vanilla and woody flavors, suitable for red and white meats, ham, sausages, and rich dishes. It had also won a silver medal at the Paris competition. In the end, we bought two bottles of wine - one for regular use and one for Father's Day. We also bought Jupiter's original regular coffee, as we were running out at home. This time, we got three bags of iced coffee and one bag of Mandheling beans. My wife wanted to try a bit of the high-quality wine, so we splurged a bit on the purchase.

The shop is located in the underground 1st floor of Sanpiaza Center Mall in the Shin-Fuda area. It is in an area that looks like a multi-layered dungeon, but it is easy to find as it is located near Naka-Sakae, Yamamoto Meat, Kikunoya, and Komatsu Fisheries. After the renovation, it is now located on the main street with the highest foot traffic. They offer a stamp card where you can get a 1000 yen worth of coffee beans for every 100 stamps collected (1 stamp for every 200g of coffee beans), with no expiration date. [First Visit on November 24, 2016] For some reason, Jupiter has moved from Duo 1, 2nd floor, to the underground 1st floor of Sanpiaza Center Mall in the Shin-Fuda dungeon. The new store has a similar size to the previous one. I purchased J Earl Grey tea bags, a traditional blend of keyman tea and bergamot, with a fragrant aroma and citrusy bergamot flavor that I love. I also bought J Champagne Rouge, a strawberry 100% tea that made me feel happy. I also got Alpenzalz rock salt, which I have not yet opened. I will add a review of it in my next visit.

What did I come here for again? Oh right, I remember now. I went to the cafe in the morning and thought I might encounter something interesting here. And I did - "Jupiter." This place is one of my favorites, along with Caldi. I wonder what I'll buy today? So, the two of us, not getting along, started searching separately. The cheese here is nothing special, and the curry can be hit or miss. I prefer to buy coffee from specialty shops. So, what did I end up buying? A Gapaorice that I enjoyed before and a Thai curry, "Green Curry." Why did I decide to try this out? I usually don't like trying new things. First of all, it looks unappetizing, and it's spicy. I really dislike coconut milk, and there's ginger in it too. It's just too complex with all the spices. Do they even use dried newts or lizards in this? I don't need extra energy. Is it tasty? As expected, I don't like it. It's too much for me. It's okay for my friend, who finds it spicy but flavorful. I find it too overwhelming with various flavors. Is there too much cumin in it? I don't like cumin, it's more like shiitake to me! I won't be fooled by this. I shouldn't have forced myself to eat this. As for the Gapaorice, I finally made it. It was spicy, smelly, and not tasty. I don't like these strange spices at all. Was Gapaorice always this bad? I only had it once and it was good. I won't buy this series again!

I stopped by KALDI in Aeon on my way to lunch in Shin-Sapporo and replenished my usual JunkFood. Today, I bought 3 bags of Doritos Nacho Cheese as always! I haven't shopped anywhere else besides Jupiter recently. It's the only store in Sapporo where you can buy Doritos, so I will continue to use it regularly in the future. But the prices have gone up quite a bit in the past year...

I wasn't planning on writing a review, but here it goes... I visited Jupiter and tried their 100% buckwheat soba noodles. It's a gluten-free product made entirely from buckwheat flour. I don't have any allergies, but I was curious to try this type of soba. Unfortunately, it didn't suit my taste, but I recommend you try it and find your favorite!
