I visited the restaurant 10 minutes before opening on Saturday. When they opened, it was already full and there were customers waiting. I found the Chiku-Ten Mayo Don for the first time, so I decided to order that instead of the usual large portion of udon. The udon was still the same delicious tempura bukkake. There was a bit of a wait, but the price of the udon was still the same and the portion was huge. The extra toppings had a slight price increase, but it was still under 300 yen, which is reasonable. The large portion is 1.5 servings, but it's actually a lot of food so be careful. The thick noodles were chewy and had a nice texture, and the juicy tempura was plentiful with 5 pieces. I almost burst from eating too much. I regret having the Katsuomudon for lunch earlier. There are many delicious udon restaurants in Osaka, but this one is one of my top favorites. The portion, taste, and price are all great, and they are open for both lunch and dinner, so I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

Popular udon restaurant in the south. I thought the wait wouldn't be too long since there were only about 7 people in line, but it ended up taking about an hour... Be prepared to wait. I ordered the pork bukkake udon and a side of eggplant tempura. Well, the wait was worth it. The noodles are flat and thick, a type not often seen in Kansai. It has a nice smooth and chewy texture. The broth was also quite rich, which I enjoyed a lot. The eggplant tempura was delicious as well. Considering how crowded it was, it's probably best to visit on a weekday.

Entered in the top 5000 of Tabelog with an overall rating of 3.68, I visited this restaurant on August 19, 2023, Saturday at 18:35. I had to wait outside for 25 minutes before being seated. I ordered the Three Kinds of Tempura Soba for 1,150 yen with a large serving for an additional 130 yen, and the Chicken Tempura Curry Soba for 1,050 yen. When I arrived, there were already 4 people waiting outside, and the line continued to grow, indicating that the restaurant was quite popular. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I finally got inside and purchased my meal ticket before taking a seat. Initially, I wanted the Vegetable Tempura Soba, but it was unavailable, so I opted for the Three Kinds of Tempura - chicken, squid, and fish cake. The restaurant only had counter seats surrounding the cooking area, where I could watch the chef preparing the noodles, which was a nice touch. The Three Kinds of Tempura Soba had thick noodles that were wider than usual. The broth was sweet with a strong bonito flavor, making it quite delicious but not particularly memorable. The tempura was crispy and tasty, with the chicken and squid tempura standing out in terms of flavor. The Chicken Tempura Curry Soba had the same noodles and broth as the previous dish, but the balance of curry flavor in the broth was excellent, making it a popular and satisfying menu item.

I arrived at 11:30 but had to wait a little because it was crowded. It was nice that they provided a sun umbrella. I ordered curry udon with 3 pieces of chicken tempura. Delicious! Both the curry udon and chicken tempura were really tasty! If I come back next time, I would like to try different udon like bukkake.

I felt like eating udon and was looking for a place to eat, and Yuusuke's udon caught my eye visually, so I decided to give it a try. I arrived around noon on a holiday, but there was already a line of 6 people. The sun was scorching, with the temperature around 35 degrees, but they had umbrellas for waiting customers, which I used. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes, I finally got inside. I ordered using food tickets. I ordered the tempura udon and 1.5 servings of udon with a side of lunch rice. The food was served in less than 10 minutes. The udon noodles were flat and looked chewy, and indeed they were, with a smooth texture. The 1.5 servings were just right, and the chewiness made me feel full. The tempura was freshly fried for each order, crispy and went perfectly with the udon. It also paired well with the rice. The tempura udon itself cost 950 yen, the 1.5 servings extra was 130 yen, and the lunch rice was 100 yen, totaling 1180 yen. I think there will always be a line on holidays. The freshly made udon is a big plus. It might be a bit challenging to visit for lunch on weekdays, but if I have the time, I would like to stop by again.

I went to a udon restaurant, Yuusuke, for lunch. It had been a while since I last visited, and I noticed that they had switched to a food ticket system and changed their menu. They no longer had lunch sets, just individual items. The prices had also gone up, which was expected in the current situation. I ordered the tempura udon for 950 yen. It came with five large pieces of chicken tempura and thick noodles. Even though I ordered a regular size, the portion was quite generous, similar to a large or extra-large at a typical udon restaurant. The noodles had the most chewy texture I've ever had, making it quite satisfying to eat. The chicken tempura was also delicious, with a crunchy coating that stayed crispy even when soaked in the broth. It had been a while since I last had this dish, but it was still as tasty as I remembered.

I ordered the cold udon with tempura chicken on top. The udon noodles were a bit thick and flat. The tempura chicken was incredibly juicy and delicious. However, as a woman who eats quite a bit, I couldn't finish it all because the noodles were thick and the portion was quite large. If they had a smaller size option, I would definitely come back again.

I went to a new restaurant in Nishinakajima Minamigata where the chef trained at a famous udon shop, and I was excited to try their specialty thick, flat udon noodles. I ordered the vegetable tempura udon in hot broth, and the flavor was amazing with a strong dashi taste. The noodles were thick and chewy even when piping hot, making for a delightful meal.

Having lunch at Yusuken in Nishinaka. It was my first visit. The seating consists of an L-shaped counter only. I purchased the tempura and zaru udon from the ticket machine. The udon noodles are flat and have a good chewy texture. The tempura comes with 5 pieces, which is quite substantial. The taste is crispy and juicy, very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

All humans are noodles. The udon at Yuusuke, a little further back in the line, was stable and delicious with a good chewiness and thickness. I couldn't help but keep watching the udon being kneaded inside the store. The only choice was the tempura udon. It's easy to see inside the store, so it's easy to know how much longer you have to wait.

[Osaka Gourmet - Nishinakajima Minamigata Lunch] "Authentic Handmade Udon Yuusuke" ❤️Office Lunch Exploration Team Series❤️
✔️A popular restaurant located about a 2-minute walk from Hankyu Minamigata Station
✔️I decided to check out this place because there was always a line during lunchtime. I usually only go to Nishinakajima Minamigata Station, so Hankyu Minamigata Station area was new to me. Be prepared to wait in line during lunchtime (*`・ω・)ゞ✨ There were already 3 groups in front of me. I stared at the clock, waiting for my turn, and finally entered the restaurant.
✔️If there is a long wait, it seems like they take orders in advance. The seating is at the counter with dividers.
Ordered the "Meat Udon"
✔️The presentation of the dish was beautiful and had a rustic charm. The udon noodles were firm and had a nice bounce to them. The broth and meat were generously portioned, and it was delicious! No wonder there's always a line here️✨
✔️I must come back again for the hot udon, and I definitely want to try the cold udon next time. Can't wait to come back for more!
✔️Next time, I want to try the "Pork and Minced Meat Dipping Noodles." With the upcoming season, I might need to bring a parasol for the wait.

I visited a super popular udon restaurant in Osaka around 1pm and there were about 4 groups waiting. After waiting for about 30 minutes, a staff member asked for our order. Once inside, the udon arrived quickly. I ordered the 3 kinds of tempura udon with a soft-boiled egg. The tempura was incredibly delicious. The noodles were firm and slightly flat, providing a satisfying chew. I usually eat a lot, but the regular size was enough for me.

[Menu Received This Time]
- Toriten Udon Set
- Chikuwa Tempura (warm)
- Cold Udon, Curry Udon, etc.
The menu is so abundant that it's hard to decide. The lunch set with rice is also a great deal. This time, due to the hot weather, I ordered the Toriten topping on Bukkake Udon with Chikuwa Tempura. The udon was packed so tightly that it didn't look like a regular portion. The unique, flat noodles made me doubt if I had ordered the wrong thing, resembling Kishimen. The texture was incredibly chewy and had a strong elasticity and chewiness. It was smooth and had a good throat feel. This udon was a new sensation and personally, I really liked it.
The tempura is made to order, so it's freshly fried. The Toriten was large and crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, perfectly done. Dipping it in the broth of Bukkake Udon made it even more delicious. The Chikuwa Tempura was also large and had a fluffy texture and a crispy, fresh taste. It was very satisfying.
I always eat cold udon, but Bukkake Udon is irresistible as the weather gets warmer. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

To the authentic hand-made udon restaurant Yuusuke-san p(^_^)q♡ Located right in front of Hankyu Minamikata Station! I passed by on a Sunday at lunchtime and there was a line, so I came back for revenge on a weekday just a little after noon, around 2pm ❤️ The restaurant has only counter seats that surround the kitchen. It's a place easy to enter alone. I saw a review saying the portions are generous, so I followed that and ordered the warm ★ Toriten Bukkake for 950 yen. It comes with bonito, green onions, grated daikon, lemon, and chopped nori. It's luxurious with 5 pieces of Toriten ❤️ I didn't get rice because I was already full, and it was a good decision p(^_^)q♡ The thick and flat udon noodles have a chewy texture. They are completely different and delicious compared to any udon I've had before٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶❤️ The Toriten is crispy and juicy❗️ It's so good that I would come back just for the Toriten alone. Thank you for the meal♡ I will come again☺︎

You can choose between hot and cold, the pickles arrived cold, followed by a substantial amount of pork after a long wait. The noodles are flat and quite firm, almost like gummy but not too chewy. It's worth eating, and the portion is decent. Maybe warm udon would be better than the firm noodles.

I ordered 3 servings of Tempura Curry Udon with extra noodles (1.5 servings). I also ordered tempura mushrooms and pumpkin, but I forgot to take a picture of them. The tempura was served on a separate plate, but there was no tempura dipping sauce, only salt. The tempura was freshly fried and served hot. The udon was delicious, and the tempura was also tasty, so I'd like to try other items next time.

I ordered 3 servings of Toriten Curry Udon for 1,000 yen. I upgraded to a large portion (1.5 servings) which made the price a bit higher. I remember that before, the Toriten set with 5 pieces was 980 yen, but now it's 1,100 yen. It had been a while since I last had it, but it was still delicious.

It has been about a year since my last visit. This restaurant is located about a 1-minute walk from Minami-Kata Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line. I visited for lunch on a weekday. Today, there were no customers waiting outside, but I was seated inside after waiting for about 5 minutes. I had pre-ordered the Niku Bukkake Udon (warm) for 880 yen (tax included). It arrived in about 5 minutes. The udon noodles were thick with a firm texture, similar to Sanuki udon. The soup was dark in color, giving it a rich appearance. It was delicious with my favorite type of udon and broth. Thank you for the meal.

The chicken tempura and curry udon with additional tempura were amazing! The noodles had a surprising firmness to them. The freshly made flat Sanuki udon had a great chewy texture. The sweet broth soaked into the crispy chicken tempura perfectly. The curry udon was spicy and very enticing.

Today's lunch was at a popular udon restaurant that is within reach of the Udon Hyakumeiten, "Genuine Handmade Udon Yusuke." I visited from Osaka Metro Nishinakajima Minamigata Station, but it is only a 1-minute walk from Hankyu Kyoto Line Minamikata Station! As I arrived in front of the shop and waited, the Hankyu train passed right in front of my eyes. Moreover, the road on the shop side is one step lower, so you can look up at the Hankyu train from a slightly different perspective, which is a bit exciting for Hankyu train fans. The inside of the shop is a counter-style surrounding the kitchen. There were quite a few families with children, creating a cozy atmosphere. Counter-only shops have been increasing recently, with many becoming no-kids allowed. This shop has become famous for its voluminous authentic handmade udon with piping hot tempura! But I'm also curious about the curry udon... The menu mentioned "a little spicy," which caught my attention. My partner hesitated and ended up going with the classic choice. The "Toriten Bukkake" is quite pricey compared to udon in the udon prefecture, but the portion size is amazing!!! The noodles are thick flat noodles. They are so heavy that your right hand holding the chopsticks will hurt. The texture of the curry is somewhere between thick and gooey. It never seems to diminish no matter how much you eat. My partner's "Toriten Bukkake" also had three big pieces of Toriten, each about the size of a baby's fist!! They are crispy and hot, freshly fried. I recommend it when you want to eat a lot of udon. The hand-made noodles are firm and chewy! It's rare to have flat noodles. Thank you for the meal. On a side note, the name of the shop "Yusuke" doesn't really feel like someone else's name lol.

Today's lunch was at Yusuke in Nishinakajima Minamigata. I was in the mood for udon instead of ramen, so I decided to visit this popular spot. There was a line outside, but we were able to get in after a 20-minute wait. I ordered the Toriten Bukkake udon, while my companion had the Curry udon. The udon had a great texture and flavor, and the Toriten was crispy and juicy. The broth was sweet and delicious. I even managed to steal a taste of the Curry udon, which was also very tasty. Overall, I was impressed by the quality of the food and I look forward to trying more dishes next time.
