Due to the cold wave, it's quite cold in Sapporo even above -10°C every day. Had a late lunch at Yoshinoya. Got a large serving of rice for 717 yen, which is cheap! They also gave me a free egg, one in a bowl and the other mixed into a dipping sauce. It's great that there are vegetables included too. It warmed me up. This store is different from the traditional style, where you pick up your order after it's ready. It's similar to McDonald's. The trendy interior even has USB charging. If they had coffee, I would want to stay longer. Thank you for the meal.

It's a place in Higashi-Atsubetsu in Atsubetsu-ku, along Route 12. The reviewer visited a Yoshinoya branch that recently started offering Hayashi Rice in October. They parked in a shared parking lot, ordered the beef Hayashi Rice, and waited for their order at a counter seat. The sauce had a tomato acidity with a good balance of beef flavor and saltiness. The beef was thicker than what is usually found in gyudon. They mixed the rice, sauce, and beef together before finishing their meal. They mentioned the restaurant often has interesting limited-time menu items that they look forward to trying in the future.

This time, I visited a Yoshinoya location in Atsubetsu Higashi, along Route 12. I was intrigued by the news that they had started selling "Oyakodon" for the first time in 10 years, so I decided to try it out. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I parked my car in the front parking lot and entered the store. I ordered the "Oyakodon" set and miso soup at the counter, paid, received a pager, and waited for my order at a vacant counter seat. After a few minutes, the pager vibrated, signaling that my order was ready. I received my Oyakodon and miso soup, but unfortunately, the egg was overcooked and burnt. The Oyakodon had uneven textures, with some parts of the egg being too hard and others being too runny. The broth was salty and lacked depth, and the onions were cut too large. Despite these issues, I managed to finish my meal with the miso soup. Overall, if you prefer a runnier texture for your Oyakodon, I recommend adding a soft-boiled egg. It seems like the chef could benefit from more training in making Oyakodon.

This time, I visited Yoshinoya to try their new "Black Curry" that they are promoting. The restaurant is located in Atsubetsu Higashi along Route 12, but for the exact location, please check the map on Tabelog as usual. Upon arriving at the restaurant and parking in the shared parking lot, I headed inside and saw a banner for the Black Curry at the entrance. Inside, there was also a board promoting the Black Curry. I ordered the Black Curry at the register, paid, and waited for my order. My Black Curry arrived in about a minute, and I added some chopped pickled ginger on top before taking it to an available counter seat. The curry was quite easy to eat, with a mild level of spiciness similar to medium spicy store-bought curry roux. There were no visible ingredients in the curry, so it seemed to be just plain curry roux. I enjoyed it with rice and took breaks with the chopped pickled ginger. Overall, it was my first time trying curry at Yoshinoya, and I found it a bit disappointing that it didn't come with Fukujinzuke.

This is a place in Higashiku, as the name suggests, it is located along Route 12. For the exact location, please check the map on the restaurant review website. After trying Matsuya's "Negi-Tama Gyudon" yesterday, I couldn't help but be curious about Yoshinoya's "Negi-Tama Gyudon", so I decided to visit this restaurant. Upon arrival, I parked my car in the front parking lot and entered the restaurant. Surprisingly, this Yoshinoya has become a self-service restaurant. I went to the register, ordered a small size of "Negi-Tama Gyudon" and "miso soup", paid, and waited for my order. It arrived in 1-2 minutes, so I took my food to an available table for two. I then went to the self-service corner to get water, chopsticks, pickled ginger, and shichimi (seven-spice powder). I mixed the "Negi-Tama Gyudon" well before eating, enjoying the flavor of the green onions. The miso soup was flavorful with bonito broth and only had wakame seaweed and green onions as ingredients. Overall, I found this self-service restaurant a bit lacking in service and slightly more expensive compared to other gyudon chains.

I had a pork bowl for lunch. I was still feeling a bit hungry, so I decided to have something light. I saw they had pork bowls on the menu and immediately chose that. While I usually like to have a raw egg with my beef bowls, I thought it might not go well with the sauce for the pork bowl, so I just had the pork bowl on its own. I felt like the portion of meat was a bit small, but that might have been because I was really hungry. I also noticed that the sauce wasn't as sweet as I expected, maybe because I had the image of a famous pork bowl from Obihiro in mind. I briefly thought about looking for coupons from Yoshinoya since they often have them with various point services, but I got confused about which one would be the best deal, so I ended up just paying the regular price. It's already reasonably priced anyway. I was able to satisfy my hunger! Thank you for the meal.

After work, do you ever feel like eating gyudon or butadon for some reason? I often do. It might make me gain weight! I found a coupon on SmartNews for 30 yen off cheese butadon, so I used it without hesitation. I wanted to eat something cheesy. I ordered a cheese butadon with a side of burdock salad. The combination of cheese and pork protein never fails to satisfy my brain. It was a happy moment after work. Thank you for the coupon.

After working overtime for the first time in a while, I suddenly had a strong craving for a meat bowl. I wonder why? Did my brain need protein? I ordered a cheese pork bowl and burdock salad. As always, the meat was light but the cheese added a creamy texture to the bowl. The protein really hit the spot. I used the Yoshinoya app's cheese pork coupon, PayPay Yoshinoya 10% off coupon, and T-Point to get a triple deal. What a great deal! It was delicious. Even the regular size portion was quite filling.

Finally, as the snow begins to fall, I start craving hot pot again. I had sukiya's beef hot pot before, but today I tried Yoshinoya's beef hot pot. I ordered the beef suki hot pot set. The amount of vegetables is the same as sukiya, but Yoshinoya has more eggs and comes with an oshinko (pickled vegetables), which is a win. While sukiya's meat tends to fall apart and become unrecognizable towards the end, Yoshinoya's meat stays intact until the end, allowing you to enjoy the flavor of the meat. As for the taste... honestly, both Yoshinoya and sukiya were on par. I think both are worth the price. The soup had a moderate sweetness, almost as if there was sugar in it, and a decent level of saltiness that complements the meat. It was decent overall. By the way, I used a 50 yen discount coupon from SmartNews for Yoshinoya's hot pot without hesitation. It's important to check for coupons regularly. It was a satisfying comparison. Enjoyed the meal!

I was feeling a little peckish, but with the third wave of COVID-19 approaching, I decided to refrain from going out to Yoshinoya for some food. They have Yoshigyu in Hokkaido now, haha. I just wanted a little taste, so I ordered the Pokémon set (laughs). Gotta eat it once in a while! The Red Pickled Ginger Bowl is delicious ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎ Kansai people love red pickled ginger, right? (o^^o)

Hello, they said they renewed this place. It's not mentioned on the website though. It's a common "cafeteria-style" at university cafeterias. You order and pay first, then pick up your food at the serving window and sit at an available table. You have to get condiments and utensils from a central counter, and after eating, you return your tray to the designated area. It's similar to a food court in a large commercial facility, but without a buzzer system. I ordered the A set, which is like a regular beef bowl, and my friend ordered just the regular beef bowl. The food was ready quickly, and we had to get our own drinks, pickled ginger, and return the condiments when done. I wonder about the cleanliness of the tables, especially during this time of COVID-19. They don't seem to clean the tables thoroughly between customers. We always carry disinfectant wipes with us, so we cleaned the table ourselves before sitting down. Overall, I think this cafeteria-style is not bad, but I wonder if it's the best fit for a Yoshinoya restaurant on the outskirts. It might be an experimental concept for this location along the highway. Well, it's not a bad idea at all. Just my two cents.

The day after talking about Unagi (eel) at Sukiya, my husband woke up early and suggested going to Sukiya, Yamaokaya, or Yoshinoya for breakfast. We decided to go to Sukiya, as we were tired of Yamaokaya and hadn't been to Yoshinoya in years. We left at 6 in the morning, and despite all of us being male, we noticed that many people come for breakfast at that time. The restaurant was bright and stylish, which was a pleasant surprise for us. My husband, who had skipped dinner the night before, wanted a hearty meal, so he ordered the New Stamina Super Special Bowl for 798 yen. I opted for the Morning Beef Set for 398 yen, with a large rice portion for an additional 120 yen, and changed to miso soup for 121 yen. The food took a while to come out, and when it did, I was surprised to see so much rice in my bowl. I thought I had asked for a large portion of meat, not rice. I asked the staff, and they confirmed that it was indeed a large rice portion. My husband's bowl was filled with beef, chicken, and pork, but he found it too salty and regretted not ordering something simpler. A few days later, he was still lamenting his decision. It made me think back to when I was young and used to love Yoshinoya before the one in Chitose opened. I even wanted to work there. Oh, how times have changed!

"I haven't had meat in a while! I couldn't resist the craving for fatty meat, so around 11 o'clock, I drove to get this 'Beef Bowl and Beef Kalbi Set Meal' for 698 yen plus tax. However, there was a long line for takeout. Many Satoshis from Sapporo were lined up. Still, I quietly waited and finally got my meal. The rice is free for refills for the morning set meal, so I had two large bowls and enjoyed a very satisfying lunch! It's great that they have self-service for tea because I drink a lot of it."

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, and it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is no medication that suits me yet. Likes and comments may be delayed, so thank you in advance. In this month's check-up, the possibility of readmission by the end of the year has increased. It seems like it will be after the situation with the new coronavirus calms down. In July 2019, I ordered a "Gyudon Super Special" for takeout at the "Sapporo Asahikawa store." The taste and quality of the meat were quite good. I rated it 3.5 stars. Next, I ordered takeout at the "Sapporo Tanukikoji store," which was a whopping 16.2% less compared to the Asahikawa store. It was also 110 yen less in value. There were large chunks of raw-like onions at the bottom of the bowl. I rated it 2.8 stars. I learned that there is a significant difference in quantity and taste between stores. At the third store, "Sapporo Kanjo-dori Minami-en store," the portion was the largest. I rated it 3.6 stars. I also visited the "Yoshinoya Sapporo Shinkotoni Yonbandori store" for comparison. Unfortunately, they did not have a "Super Special," so I ordered a "Gyudon Special." I then visited the "Yoshinoya Sapporo Esta store," the first takeout-only store in the country. They also did not have a "Super Special," so I ordered a "Gyudon Special." The taste was typical Yoshinoya, but the price per gram was the lowest among the five stores. In May 2020, I visited the "Yoshinoya Route 12 Atsubetsu store" for the sixth time. I ordered the usual "Gyudon Special." The weight was 197g (excluding the bag weight). There were no large chunks of onions like in the Tanukikoji store, and the meat quality and taste were on par with the Asahikawa store. The meat was not tough, and the beef ratio was normal. The taste was the usual, and it came with pickled ginger. I rated it 3.3 stars. The price per gram was 2.75 yen, which was the third highest among the six stores.

Beef and Salmon Set Meal for 602 yen. Yoshinoya, known for its beef bowls for 300 years, has changed a lot. It now looks like a cafe with a modern interior. You order at the counter and there are self-service options for tea and condiments. The tables are wooden and there is a drink bar. It seems like they are trying to attract more female customers. However, I feel like the old Yoshinoya charm is missing. The Beef and Salmon Set Meal tasted different, lacking the usual junk food appeal. This is not the Yoshinoya that Kin Nikuman loved.

10/12/2019 First visit. While driving on Route 12 in the morning, I noticed a flashy sign. I knew it had been under renovation for a while, but it seems like today is the grand reopening. Since I didn't have time in the morning, I visited in the early afternoon. As soon as I entered, I understood. They have added a corner for takeout orders. It must be tough for the shop to deal with both 8% and 10% consumption tax. I hesitated a bit and decided to get takeout. ・Regular Beef Bowl - Light on the rice The taste is as reliable as always. (^O^) Lately, I've been ordering less rice, but I actually feel like I get more ingredients and can enjoy the flavor properly. (^O^) It was delicious even as a bento. Thank you for the meal. I will come back again.

The other day, I was in a beef bowl mode. I went to Nakau and then to Sukiya, but my craving for beef bowls just wouldn't go away. Today, I came to this place while visiting the neighboring 100-yen shop with my partner. My partner ordered a regular beef bowl set with raw egg, while I ordered a large beef bowl set with raw egg. I prefer sitting on the left side, but since it was crowded, I had to sit next to a slow-eating older brother. Hmm, the beef bowl here seems a bit bland, isn't it? The meat is thin, but I actually prefer it that way as it makes the fat taste just right. Oh, what's this? The onions seem undercooked, maybe because it was busy in the morning? Well, things like this happen sometimes. I might visit this place again, or maybe try a different restaurant. Yeah, I think I'm more of a Yoshinoya fan after all.

This time, I visited a restaurant in Atsubetsu Higashi, as I didn't have much time. I parked my car and entered the restaurant, where I ordered a small beef bowl and miso soup. The beef bowl arrived quickly, but the portion seemed a bit small. I added pickled ginger and shichimi pepper before enjoying it. I finished the meal in about 5-6 minutes. When time is limited, having a quick beef bowl like this is convenient, but personally, I find a small portion is enough for me at my age.

Yoshinoya Stamp Campaign: Get a free Yoshinoya bowl with 21 stamps! Don't you want it? I'll figure out how to use it later haha. My reviews based on what I ate: 1) Salmon Beef Set (580 yen) - The salmon was very salty! Was it always this salty? Good for those who like to eat a lot of rice. 2) Pork and Green Onion Bowl (490 yen) - Light and refreshing, tasty but you can get similar elsewhere. 3) Small Beef Bowl (360 yen) with Miso Soup (70 yen) - A reliable and consistent taste. The rice portion is around 150g. Got tired of it. In the end, I got a free beef bowl coupon with 7 stamps. Thanks for the meal!

Yoshinoya, a stable choice. Yoshinoya, a place that everyone has probably visited at least once. Indulging in a meal at Yoshinoya, is it a small happiness or a big one? This time, I ordered the Beef Sukiyaki Set and Shirasu. It's the usual deliciousness with a little bit extra. My stomach is full and I feel a little happier. Thank you.
