Around 6 pm on the weekend, I visited a restaurant and there were no customers when I arrived. A couple came in after me. I ordered a 220g steak with garlic sauce and a mini salad. The beer was served in a bottle but they brought me a glass. For my second drink, I had a highball and finished with red wine. The mini salad was more than I expected. The steak was served rare, so you can cook it on the hot plate to your liking. If you prefer it well-done, make sure to let them know at the beginning. The meat was delicious. If I go back next time, I want to try the steak and hamburger set.

On August 7, 2023 (Monday) at 19:20, I had dinner with my usual subordinate. It was our usual dinner gathering. There were no other customers when we arrived, but one person came later. He looked like a wrestling fan - a small, muscular, bald man with a surprisingly friendly demeanor. The owner, who seemed the opposite of his appearance, was running the restaurant alone. They had been open since lunch, but some items like hamburgers and fried foods were sold out that day, possibly because it was a Monday. I ordered a 180g lamp steak for 2,000 yen with rice for 250 yen, while my subordinate ordered a 100g lamp steak with an additional 100g of "umami" for 1,800 yen, also with rice for 250 yen. According to my subordinate, the "umami" was processed meat injected with fat from sirloin. He regretted not just sticking with the lamp steak. The meat tasted average, and the rice was on the softer side. It was nice that they offered free refills on rice. Overall, the taste was neither good nor bad - it was like a local version of Ikinari Steak. Since they also operate late at night, it could be a good spot for a steak to finish off a night of drinking. Thank you for the meal.

I came in thinking I could have a reasonably priced steak based on the sign at the entrance. It seemed like the owner was working alone, so I waited at my table for about 5 minutes. I ordered the set of half Lamp meat and Umami beef for 1800 yen, which did not include rice, salad, or miso soup (available for an additional 600 yen). The Lamp meat (100g) was served raw on a hot plate for self-cooking, while the Umami beef (100g) had fat injected for added flavor. Both meats were tasty, with the Lamp meat being tender when cooked closer to rare and the Umami beef being flavorful due to the injected fat. In terms of cost, it was slightly more expensive than a food court but cheaper than a regular steakhouse. However, the overall quality was lower compared to a food court. The set of rice, salad, and miso soup was basic, with the miso soup lacking ingredients and the salad being like coleslaw that smelled a bit off. It might be worth a visit if you're looking for a quick meal after a night out in Asahikawa.

I had been curious about this place for a while. The atmosphere is great and it operates on a food ticket system. There are mostly counter seats with a few tables for two. I thought it would be a quick meal, but some people were eating slowly while watching videos, so you can enjoy your meal at your own pace. Surprisingly, they have only one staff member, so if you go with a large group, you may have to wait a while for your food. The staff is humble and a bit clumsy, but you can feel their kindness and warmth. As for the food, it didn't disappoint. You can fully enjoy juicy meat with a choice of sauce. They also serve miso soup, rice, and plenty of vegetables as sides, so you can eat until you're full. In conclusion, it's not very cheap, but you can easily enjoy delicious steak here.

This is my first visit to a steakhouse in Asahikawa for dinner. They mainly serve steak with beef rump as the main dish, but they also have Wagyu beef and hamburgers on the menu. I ordered a combo meal. The steak was served on a hot iron plate, so I tried it right away. However, I couldn't really tell the difference between the beef rump and Wagyu beef. The garlic rice was also served on a hot iron plate, but it was a bit too hot and had a slightly burnt smell. Maybe they were still in training at the dojo?

Located about a 5-minute walk from JR Asahikawa Station, "Steak Dojo" is a steakhouse open from 11am to 6am the next morning. It's quite rare for a steakhouse to be open for such a long time, haha. I ordered the lamp steak this time, and it was simply delicious, haha. What impressed me more than the taste was that when I visited around 8pm, a female staff member was managing the whole place by herself, haha. She looked young and had a cute face, and she was able to handle everything by herself! Even though it's not Okinawa, you can also enjoy steak as a way to finish your meal, so be sure to visit, haha.

After finishing work on a holiday, I set out to find a restaurant. My first choice was ramen, but all the places I had in mind were closed. Feeling lost, I came across a brightly lit restaurant with a neon sign. I entered and found that there were no other customers inside. I bought a ticket from the machine as instructed and decided on the steak option since there was no ramen available. I sipped on water while waiting. Miso soup, salad, and rice were served in that order. As I nibbled on the salad, the steak arrived. I enjoyed dipping the meat in garlic sauce and the sautéed spinach and corn were also delicious. The rice was good too, but I refrained from getting seconds as it was past 10 pm. I thought the steak was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was just right. The salt and pepper added a nice touch, which I liked. Maybe I should have ordered a 1-pound steak. I enjoyed my meal and left the restaurant.

I went out for drinks with friends and one of them got a little tipsy, so they took a taxi home. We visited three places, including bars and snack bars, and by the end of the night, I was feeling a bit hungry. It was around 1 AM and I thought, "If I don't eat rice, is it okay to have steak at this hour?" So, we went to a restaurant that is open until 6 AM. I ordered the smallest Lamp Steak (180g) for 1,000 yen and a Highball for 480 yen. The restaurant was quite busy with 3 groups of 5 customers at this late hour. The restaurant offers free rice refills, free soup refills, free extra and refill of vegetables, and free garlic topping. I didn't order rice or soup, and the vegetables were sautéed, so I decided to go for the garlic topping. The Highball arrived first, followed by the steak which was slightly rare and very tender. It was delicious, especially with the garlic topping. I finished it quickly along with the Highball. Eating steak at this hour made me think a little, but it was surprisingly tasty!

I revisited a Jiro-style steak restaurant!! It had been a while since I last came, and this time the person in the kitchen was different from the usual one. But the steak was still cooked perfectly, it was delicious!笑

This time, the pork chop was thick, tender, and delicious.

Revisited! They had added a new menu item called "Jiro-style steak," so I ordered 300g with rice!! Great value for money!! Full of stamina!! Highly recommended for those who want to eat a lot!

Whenever I stay near Asahikawa Station and feel like having steak, I always come here! All-you-can-eat rice! The steak is reasonably thick, tender, and reasonably priced! I will definitely go back again!

The liner is recommended because it is cheap and delicious as the drink bar and rice are free.

The meat was incredibly delicious. I sat at the counter in front of the kitchen, and I could hear the new staff member being trained by the manager while cooking. It seemed like you could get a service based on the amount of meat you eat, but I didn't receive any kind of points card. There was a half ticket left on the table, maybe I was supposed to keep it to accumulate points like a point card. There was no explanation given. But it was so tasty that I plan to go back again.

First time at this restaurant. I enjoyed the delicious meal.
