I visited a friend's place in Kuzuha and used this restaurant for dinner. I was seated at the counter, which was nice and spacious. I ordered the red meat platter and the premium kalbi. The red meat felt a bit tough. Among the platter, the geta kalbi was particularly delicious. The lunch menu offers better value, but I'm glad I could go there for dinner too. ★ Payment via PayPay is accepted.

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I thoroughly enjoyed the meat without any strange heaviness in my stomach. The interior was in the basement, but it was spacious and comfortable! The attention to detail was evident in everything, from the homemade side dishes to the dipping sauces, salt, and wasabi, all of which were delicious. The tail ramen we had at the end was particularly impressive! I believe there's nowhere else where you can enjoy such carefully crafted meals at a barbecue restaurant, so I will definitely be coming back.

I visited my friend's place in Kuzuha and was looking for a lunch spot. Initially, we planned to go on Saturday, but I found out that lunch is only available on weekdays. So, we went on a weekday during Golden Week at noon. I had intended to eat grilled meat, but since my friend wasn't in the mood for yakiniku, they opted for the Wagyu beef steak bento box. Not wanting to eat grilled meat alone, I decided to go for the steak bento as well.
The bento was packed with perfectly rare slices of meat and served over rice topped with a sweet and savory sauce. The meat was tender and flavorful, making it delicious. I thought it would be more expensive if we were in the Umeda area, but given the location, it was great to enjoy high-quality meat at a reasonable price. I hope to have the opportunity to try their yakiniku next time.
◆ Wagyu Beef Steak Bento: 1,680 yen (including tax)
Egg yolk: +80 yen (including tax)

After our meal, the owner kindly saw us off, which made me a bit shy, but the service was great.

On a weekday night, I visited without a reservation. I was shown to a private room, which is a nice option alongside counter seats and tatami seating. The restaurant highly recommends their "Puri-Tan," which has a plump and bouncy texture. It's similar to what other places might term "Premium Tongue" or "Deluxe Tongue." Rather than a firm chewiness, it offers a soft and delightful texture that I found delicious. However, it costs about 1980 yen for just six slices, which might not be enough for those wanting a hearty serving. The thick-cut salt tongue, while not as bouncy, was also tasty, but at 2280 yen for a serving, it can be a bit pricey for those looking to eat a lot of tongue. That said, the tongue is definitely a must-order item!
The yukhoe had a rich flavor and was quite good. I was surprised to see that the Chateaubriand was only 2980 yen, a great deal given its substantial portion. I had umeshu on the rocks, which was delicious, though I wished there was a bit more of it.
Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly. Even though being in a private room made it hard to observe everything, they provided attentive service, from changing the grill to swapping out lemons. The manager, who seemed to be in charge, also greeted me with a smile, which was very pleasant. This was actually my second visit, and I've found that it's relatively easy to get in without a reservation, as long as you're not in a large group. I recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy some good meat on a whim.
