On a certain weekday, I visited a bakery in AEON Ishikari Ryokuen-dai that I had bookmarked. As soon as I entered the central entrance of the building, I found the bakery selling a variety of products, which was convenient since it was mid-afternoon. From the menu on that day, I picked out a few items that caught my eye from the display shelf. Oh, there used to be a space with a few tables across from the store, but now, due to the current situation, that space has disappeared and it has become a takeout-only establishment.
The "Bean Bread (110 yen + tax)" had a soft yet elastic bread dough with plenty of sweet potatoes mixed in, making it a delightful treat for bean bread fans. The "Raisin Sugar Bread (100 yen + tax)" was like a small loaf with lots of flavorful raisins and a sprinkling of sugar on the surface. The "Mini Croissant (50 yen + tax)" was indeed mini, about half the size of a regular croissant, with a fluffy texture and a hint of sweetness on the top. The "Salt Bread (120 yen + tax)" had a rustic appearance with coarse salt on the surface, and upon taking a bite, the strong presence of salt was distinctive. The hollow inside was larger than those of other bakeries, giving it a cave-like appearance, and the buttery flavor was just right.
I noticed that the bakery offered popular bread at a reasonable price, and I am curious about the high-end bread that I didn't get to try this time. Thank you for the delicious pastries.

I always stop by and end up buying it because it's limited edition. When I see it in a paper bag, I can't help but go over to it, but it disappears in an instant once I get home. The taste is delicious, with a strong flavor of wheat flour. I definitely want to go buy it again when I go to AEON. Thank you for the meal.

Located inside the Aeon at Ishikari Ryokuen-dai, near the entrance, it's hard to resist. They have 100 yen bread, including salt bread, melon bread, and cream bread, which are all standard choices. I also noticed rice bread and delicious-looking donuts. They are perfect for breakfast the next day or to bring for the family's lunch.

Used for breakfast. Visited with family. Some thoughts:
- Located inside the AEON Ishikari Ryokuen-dai store.
- The children got melon bread, my wife got cheese fondue, and I got a cinnamon roll.
- They swapped out the bread on the tray for freshly baked ones at the perfect timing.
- The cinnamon roll was delicious with walnuts in it.

▽Tuna & Potato Roll 108 yen▽ (December 2017)
As the name suggests, this bread has a small rectangular shape with tuna and potato on top, drizzled with mayo and baked. The bread was easy to eat with a comforting taste.
▽Margarine Bread 108 yen▽ (December 2017)
This bread is baked with plenty of melted margarine in the dough. The fluffy dough with margarine melted inside gives a simple yet delicious taste.
▼Impressions▼ (December 2017)
This bakery is part of AEON's in-store bakery brand, operated by Robapan, a local bread-making company in Hokkaido. The bread selection is similar to other branches of the bakery. I tried the two 108 yen bread options, both simple and tasty. However, I felt that they could add more variety to the bread selection to make it more appealing.

While shopping, I found a convenient bakery called "Pan Kobo" inside the AEON Super Center Ishikari Ryokuen-dai store. It is a bakery directly managed by AEON. They offer a relatively basic selection of bread at reasonable prices. I tried the Double Cheese Fondue for 216 yen, which had Edam cheese on top and cream cheese inside, making it a great choice for cheese lovers. I also bought two Salt Breads for 118 yen. They were just the right amount of salty and had a crispy texture when toasted. The breads I purchased this time seemed to have a relatively high oil content. I was also intrigued by the Fermented Butter Melon Pan, but I wasn't in the mood for sweet bread at the time so I passed on it. It seemed like they used a fair amount of additives. I will definitely try their bread again next time I visit this AEON.

▼Location▼Located inside the Aeon Supercenter Ishikari Ryokuen-dai store along Shin-Kotoni Street. ▼About the Shop▼This is a bakery chain operating within Aeon stores. The operation and bread making are often outsourced to local major bakeries. ▼Menu▼They offer a variety of soft bread and sandwiches, with a focus on basic options. ▼Food Tried▼▽Fermented Butter Melon Pan 130 yen▽(Sep 2013) A slightly small melon pan with a well-baked surface that has a cookie-like texture. The fermented butter flavor is moderate, but the taste is good. ▽Hot Croquette Bread 140 yen▽(Sep 2013) It seems to be a croquette freshly fried and wrapped in dough then baked. The bread is soft, and the texture of the croquette coating is good. The croquette itself is average but tasty. ▼Impression▼(Sep 2013) This is one of the bakery brands operated by the Aeon group in-store. It is located near the central entrance of the Aeon store in Ishikari. They offer a variety of basic and more elaborate bread options. The bread I tried this time was decent, but I wish they had a more standout specialty item.

Once again, while stopping by at Ion, I couldn't help but notice the bread lined up at Pan Kobo. This time, I was intrigued by Mizuho's calming presence, perhaps influenced by the trend of luxury bread. The fact that it came in a paper bag and was a limited edition made it even more appealing. Despite its size, it was quite voluminous and I indulged in it luxuriously. It was fluffy, soft, and delicious! If you're aiming to conquer the high-end bread in the city, it might be a good idea to add this one to your list. Thank you for the meal.
