Visited on June 30th to July 1st, staying in Kitami for a business trip. During this time, it is difficult to secure a hotel due to the rugby training camps and national athletic meets taking place. Next month, it will be even harder to secure a hotel (laughs). Actually, it was my first time staying at Super Hotel, and I was a bit flustered. The check-in process took quite a while. On the first floor, there is a restaurant where there is a wonderful service of "Welcome drinks, all-you-can-drink alcohol from 18:00 to 21:00". There is no key for the room, you open it with a passcode. The room was small, but the firmness of the bed was good. There was a thin memory foam on top of the firm mattress, which was just right. It was a shame that there was no hot spring. Breakfast was complimentary, with a healthy selection that felt like a nutritious start to the day. Thank you for taking care of me.

Super Hotel in Kitami. I drove about 150km from Obihiro, so I'm quite tired. I saw Ezo deer on the way, so I was on edge (sweat). This hotel feels relatively new and clean. The room has bunk beds, which was the same when I stayed at another hotel in the same chain. It's small but clean and nice. Breakfast is buffet style. There aren't many options, but once I put some food on my plate, it was full. The bread seems freshly baked and tasty for a business hotel. The fresh vegetables are good too. The yogurt from Toyotomi is also a highlight. However, there are not many varieties of side dishes, so I might get tired of it if I stay for two nights. The building and rooms are new and clean, and the price is reasonable, so in that sense, it was good.

I came from Sapporo to Kitami. It's been since May when I transferred here. I had a bunk bed, unlucky. The order of free breakfast in Kitami, Route Inn -> Comfort -> Super Hotel -> Toyoko Inn -> Hotel Crown Hills. There was quite a difference between Comfort and Super Hotel (only soup curry and bread). I didn't expect much, but what a selection. The freshly baked bread was delicious and hot, perfect timing. The onion marinade was tasty. The milk was delicious. The replenishment was frequent with staff asking if we needed more. I had seconds and was full, couldn't eat the soup curry.

I stayed here for a long time and enjoyed the daily healthy breakfast. Sometimes the salad only had shredded cabbage, but other times it had a lot of delicious leaves. On this day, the breakfast included salad with spinach, paprika, watercress, and okra with onion dressing, stir-fried bamboo shoots, salted mackerel, soup curry with okra salad topping, and plain yogurt. It was great to be able to get vegetables for breakfast during a streak of nights with barbecue. The hotel puts effort into their breakfast service, offering simple yet warm dishes that hit the spot. I enjoyed the variety of salads and the hearty soup curry with added vegetables. This hotel is known for its attentive service. Thank you for the meal.

Since transferring from Kitami to Sapporo, I have been living in hotels every day. Today's hotel is Super Hotel. The parking lot is conveniently close. The bed is not the best, it's a bunk bed. The food selection is not as good as Route Inn or Comfort, but it's enough. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed at a hotel in Kitami for a solo drink. It seems like they renovated and shifted to a more natural wood tone overall. The free breakfast buffet was still a delight. The soup curry seemed spicier than before. Also, there were about 5 types of delicious-looking mini bread. I overate yesterday and felt a bit of indigestion, but the soup curry cleared it up, and I ended up trying all the varieties. Buffets are really dangerous, aren't they (laughs)? The price is cheap, and it's close to the drinking district. It's a convenient favorite hotel.

The free breakfast at the Super Hotel in Kitami, which costs only 4400 yen including tax, is not just something to eat, but a well-prepared menu with a different main dish every day. This time, the main dishes were miso-marinated mackerel and tonkatsu. The miso-marinated mackerel was a bit light in flavor, but well cooked and the bones were not a problem. When I saw the tonkatsu in the morning, I was surprised, but it was thinly sliced and easy to eat. I even went for seconds. The salad, miso soup, etc. were all satisfying, and I could have eaten more rice. Thank you for the delicious meal. Kitami was very cold, with a minimum temperature of minus 20°C, but after checking out, it was minus 12.4°C.

I had breakfast again this morning. Despite the cheap hotel price, I am always surprised by the quality of the free breakfast. This morning's menu included salted mackerel tofu croquette, sweet and sour pork, red Vienna sausage, pickled cucumber, umeboshi, dried daikon radish, salted boiled egg, salad (macaroni, carrot, lettuce, etc.), miso soup, and rice. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I will be staying in Kitami for 4 nights for a work training program. It was a bit expensive because it's during the Obon period, but I managed to secure a room at Super Hotel. It's conveniently located near the downtown area, and I love that they serve soup curry for breakfast. The main menu includes fish (salmon, mackerel, hokke, etc.), main dishes (hamburgers, cutlets, etc.), red sausages, Japanese-style side dishes, salads, and soup curry. The variety of dishes is not extensive, but I think it's delicious considering it's complimentary. I ended up eating a hearty breakfast every day for 4 days. Having soup curry in the morning really activates my stomach with spices, giving me energy for the day. I highly recommend having curry for breakfast. It's a convenient hotel where you can easily return after going out for drinks at night.

It's been two months since my last visit to Kitami. It's so cold, even though it's only -7°C. Today, I had a delicious free breakfast again. A beautiful lady welcomed me this morning. It's always nice to start the day with a free breakfast and a bright smile! The main dish this morning was meatballs instead of the teriyaki chicken from last time. As a chicken lover, I was a bit disappointed. I'm staying for another night, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow's breakfast. On the second day, we had minced cutlets, salt-grilled soba noodles, grilled hokke fish, and lotus root kinpira. I was a little disappointed that what I thought was a raw egg turned out to be a hard-boiled egg. But the soft-boiled eggs were good. I also had natto. I had seconds of rice and left feeling full for the first time in a while. Thank you for the meal. I can tackle the day ahead now. Off I go!

It's a drinking spot in Kitami, right? We had a memorial service in the morning so we ended up drinking with just the two of us. Can't drive anymore so we're staying in Kitami. My wife can drive but today we're staying at a Super Hotel. I've stayed there a few times and it was the cheapest option today so we decided on it. I always go for the cheapest when in Kitami. Of course, there are minimum standards I have. I've stayed at various hotels but there are a few I wouldn't go back to. Super Hotel is not at the top of my list of hotels I'd revisit. The rooms are small and some have beds overhead, which might be good for families but just adds to the cramped feeling. They offer free breakfast which is a bit cheap compared to other places that offer the same. The miso soup is from a machine, not very appealing. They have soup curry, rice is not good, no raw eggs, just boiled eggs. Maybe it's best not to expect much from the side dishes. But hey, the simmered saury can be eaten whole, it's delicious. The service is great, very pleasant hotel on that front. The room size is still a downside though.

The breakfast provided by various chains nowadays is offered for free as a matter of course. This morning, I had some time before my departure, so I decided to take advantage of it. Since it was before 7 am, the breakfast area was empty. A beautiful woman welcomed me. I prefer rice. They had grilled salmon, dried daikon radish, miso soup with a choice of toppings like green onions, seaweed, or tofu. I chose a mix of all toppings. They also had grilled chicken, Japanese-style pasta (with clams?), macaroni salad, and other items like soup curry, boiled eggs, seaweed, natto, and salad. There were various types of bread available as well. All of this was provided for free. I have no complaints. It was delicious, and I even had seconds. I am now full and ready to work at full power this morning. The arrangement of the food on the tray and the buffet line suggested a certain order, so I rearranged them before eating. You prepay at the machine, and a receipt with your room number and access code is printed out - quite high-tech. Let's head to the elevator with a yukata and pillow in hand. The single rooms are clean and spacious, not cramped at all. The TV is surprisingly large for this space. -----------------------------------------Breakfast is served from 6:30 am, with a "healthy breakfast" offering unlimited cup drinks, essentially a drink bar. Nega Neko-san greets you in an apron. The variety of side dishes is slightly less than Asahikawa, with four types: crispy kimchi and lotus root, sweet and tender simmered saury, a well-balanced sweetness of meatloaf, and a reliable bacon cabbage dish. The soup curry is quite spicy, with a direct kick of heat, featuring onions, chicken, broccoli, cauliflower, and plenty of carrots. The Oni Sura is crunchy and sweet like new spring onions. The potato salad and macaroni salad have a good sauce. The miso soup from the machine is salty, with plenty of fried tofu, seaweed, and green onions to add. There is natto, but the eggs are boiled... Add Q-chan and Kome-chan for a TKG-style low-cost, free breakfast. The portions are small for the early risers, but it's very convenient being close to the downtown and arcade.
