Although I quickly finished it due to my thirst, I still wanted more and decided to try the "Himuro Natsu" (Japanese citrus shaved ice in regular size). I chose red bean and warabi mochi, while my husband chose chocolate sauce and caramel sauce. They also gave us corn flakes as a service. You can eat inside the store, but we ate while heading back home. The warabi mochi was a bit hard, but the red bean was delicious. The soft serve ice cream was light and melted easily. My husband's ice cream was very sweet with the corn flakes, which I thought would be tasteless, turning out to be sweet and delicious like Kellogg's. Next time, I want to try their shaved ice!

I chose the "Everest" for 1000 yen, which is limited to 5 servings per day. It comes in four variations: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. I chose the winter option, which includes pudding, yogurt, and soft serve. I sat on the wooden deck and later moved inside the shop when a seat became available. The shaved ice arrived after about 7 minutes. It was a huge portion, almost the size of a basketball, with a generous amount of toppings. The shaved ice had a slightly softer texture than "Gari Gari" and was cold. The yogurt was refreshing and mildly sweet, while the pudding was a bit bland. The soft serve was not too sweet or milky. I struggled with the coldness due to the large portion, but managed to finish it. The shop offers good value for the amount of shaved ice served.

The temperature wasn't too high, but before I could even find the shop, I spotted a line! I waited for about 10 minutes. They offer a variety of shaved ice flavors like the classic strawberry, Blue Hawaii, grape, green apple, and citrusy varieties like hyuganatsu. They even have options with fruit pulp like strawberry and blueberry. You can also customize your shaved ice with toppings like shiratama (mochi balls), condensed milk, and warabi mochi. This time, I was drawn to the limited edition "Mount Fuji Ice with Matcha and Azuki Beans" for 800 yen. My partner opted for condensed milk and shiratama toppings. It was the epitome of Japanese flavors! After a 10-minute wait, the ice had a unique fluffy texture that I had never experienced before. When you put it in your mouth, it just melts away. Shaved ice usually has a crunchy ice texture, but this one was so light. The combination of Mount Fuji ice, matcha, red bean paste, and shiratama was perfect. With toppings, it cost 1,000 yen, but it was worth every penny. The other shaved ice options use ice made with water from the foothills of Mount Yotei. Prices range from around 200 yen to 150 yen for the daily special. Ice may be just ice, but this experience made me appreciate the difference. Next time, I want to try a more refreshing flavor. It was a delicious meal!

It arrived in 1-2 minutes, a vibrant strawberry shaved ice. This is only the second time I've had shaved ice this year, the first being at Oogami Island. I mixed the ice and strawberry syrup well before eating. Shaved ice on a hot day is especially delicious. However, if you eat it too quickly, something unpleasant might happen, so I took my time and finished it. I always want to eat cold shaved ice on short summer days in Hokkaido when there is an opportunity.
