"It is a designated rare disease by the government, which worsens especially in hot weather. There is no cure for my rare disease yet, but temporary improvement of symptoms can be achieved by administering 'blood products' for five consecutive days. I have been hospitalized five times last year for rare disease treatment. Two months ago, I was discharged for the third time this year, but I had to be discharged for the fourth time two weeks ago. Your supportive comments have always been a source of strength for me during hospitalization. I sincerely appreciate it and ask for your continued support. [October 2022] I have been discharged, but I will be reviewing my condition and responding to comments as my health allows, so please be patient. 'Mohandish' is an affordable Indian curry and cuisine restaurant. The kitchen staff includes multiple authentic Indian chefs. There are about four affiliated branches in the city. The 'Mohandish North 24-jo Store' is a popular restaurant listed in the '2022 Top 100 Restaurants' on Tabelog. The new 'Mohandish Shin-Sapporo Store' opened on October 19, 2022. I visited for the first time with my usual companion for lunch. This store is located in the Atsubetsu Central area of Sapporo, near Route 12. Please check the exact location on Tabelog. I visited around 1 pm on a weekday. The store is compact with a counter seating for four and one waiting seat. While there was only one customer in front, there were over ten customers behind, all waiting outside the store. I sat at the available counter seat. From the opening on October 19th, all items were 20% off. Unlike other 'Mohandish' stores, there were no discounted lunch menus even on weekdays. I ordered 'Spicy Chicken Masala (980 yen)' and 'Plain Naan (290 yen)' for dining in. For takeout, I ordered 'Chicken Keema Curry Bento (950 yen)'. I ordered both curries with a spiciness level of 4. After a 14-minute wait, the 'Spicy Chicken Masala' and 'Plain Naan' were served. While enjoying them, the takeout 'Curry Bento' was also ready. - Spicy Chicken Masala: The curry is rich with chunks of chicken and potatoes. The level 4 spiciness is just right and quite spicy, making it easy to enjoy. It is a delicious classic Indian curry. Price: 980 yen (tax included) - Plain Naan: A jumbo-sized naan that is crispy and slightly chewy. Price: 290 yen (tax included) - Chicken Keema Curry Bento: Weight: 420g (after removing the packaging) It includes small pieces of naan and a small portion of rice with a separate serving of curry-flavored ingredients. Price: 950 yen (tax included) The 'Spicy Chicken Masala' with a spiciness level of 4 that I had at the restaurant is a very easy-to-enjoy Indian curry suitable for everyone. The generous amount of curry and the large, hot naan complement each other very well. The curry in the lunch set is about twice the volume of a regular curry. I microwaved the 'Chicken Keema Curry Bento' for dinner and enjoyed it with beer. It is an authentic-tasting curry bento with naan and rice at a reasonable price. 'Mohandish' offers reliable and delicious flavors. Although this store mainly focuses on takeout, I personally prefer enjoying the curry in the restaurant. The authentic naan curry bento is a rare find, making it a valuable option. Next time, I might go for 'Spicy Chicken Masala (spiciness level 4)' and 'Plain Naan' at the restaurant again. Thank you for the delicious meal."

I remember it was a relocation opening. There is a takeout shop near the parking lot of the New Sapporo bowling alley (formerly known as Mizumi Ramen), and a shop has opened inside the bowling alley. The entrance is inevitably the entrance to the bowling alley. It is separated by a curtain, but due to the bowling alley, there is quite a bit of noise. However, this noise, in the case of the Indian Nepalese curry restaurant, remains within an acceptable range. It's strange. It feels like you're taking a walk in the center of Asia. This environment is for those who enjoy it. The staff, who look very similar (are they siblings?), are actually very kind. While we were eating, they brought lassi for the children and chai for the adults. Thank you. I like this kind of restaurant. I will visit again.

I was able to visit the New Sapporo branch of the Mohan-Dish chain, including the Royal Ind, which I had not visited before. This is the only store in the series where I had not been yet, so now I have been to all the branches at least once. It's quite a surreal place. It's located inside a bowling alley with no partitions or doors separating it from the lanes. It can get quite noisy, so it may not be the best place for those looking for a quiet meal. Today was a holiday, but they had a lunch menu available. I ordered the lamb curry (level 4 spiciness), half naan & half rice & salad set, and a lassi. However, there was a mistake. Instead of half naan & half rice, I received just naan. The receipt only listed the curry, spiciness level, and drink, but not the choice between naan or rice. I distinctly remember the exchange where I said "half naan & half rice," and the staff member confirmed it as the "C set." Nevertheless, I didn't make a complaint because I didn't really mind either way. The curry and naan were delicious, just like in other branches. The salad was mediocre, with a hint of chlorine-like smell that made it not very tasty. It's better to have it than not. The lassi being only 100 yen was a nice surprise, but it was too sweet and spicy.

Former location of Name Mizu Ramen in Mohanty's Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo City. Moved to Atsubetsu Park Bowl. ◆Order - Biryani Set 950, spiciness level 5 (very spicy) ◆Menu states Chicken Biryani, Salad, Chicken Soup, but... "I'm sorry, we're out of soup and salad." The price remains the same. The set that arrived was on one plate, with salad, biryani, and a boiled egg. Let's dig in! The rice was sticky and clumpy, more like "rice" than biryani. I'm not great at describing biryani, but it was spicy and had a kick to it. It felt like an incredibly delicious fried rice that wasn't fully cooked. Tasty, but a bit disappointing. Maybe this is how it's supposed to be. I should try more biryani to learn more. I hope they can improve the soup. Thank you for the meal. Thank you!

I went to the Indian curry restaurant on the first floor of Atsubetsu Park Bowl. They also have soup curry, but this time I tried the authentic curry and a variety of naan bread. I shared it with my coworkers. The cheese naan was filled with plenty of cheese and had a salty flavor that was delicious even without dipping it in curry. The almond naan was crispy and fragrant, almost like a dessert. I chose the Chicken Coconut Curry, which was rich and had lots of meat chunks, very tasty. The price might be a bit high (around 1400 yen per person), but they also offer a plate lunch for 1400 yen for those who want to eat a lot. There are still many types of naan available, so it's fun to go with a group and share (*´∀`*)

Located on the first floor of the facility next to Atsubetsu Bowling along Shin-Sapporo Route 12, right next to Nitori. This restaurant is a sister store of the ones in Kita 24-jo and Kotoni, and also related to Royal India in Shiroishi Ward. It was a lunch date for my husband and me. We are heavy users of Royal India in Shiroishi and love their curry and plain naan. I usually go for level 4 spiciness in the chicken curry, while my husband prefers level 5 in the Chicken Tikka Masala. However, this time, since Chicken Tikka Masala wasn't on the menu, we ordered Spicy Chicken Masala at level 4. Later, we found out that Chicken Tikka Masala is another name for Butter Chicken, so we were glad we went with the Spicy Chicken Masala. Both dishes were delicious! Our common opinion was that while the food was good here, we felt that Royal India has a stronger ginger kick and more punch, making it tastier. Perhaps we are just more used to the flavors there. Also, since we visited at 2 pm, there were only two other customers besides us, so the plain naan didn't seem freshly baked. Lastly, it's not the restaurant's fault, but the sound of the bowling alley next door was quite loud, so it might not be the best place for a quiet meal and conversation. But if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, then it's recommended!

【Completely Smoke-Free】Mohandish, a popular Nepalese and Indian curry restaurant in the Yon area near Subway Kita 24-jo Station, opened a small shop in Shin-Sapporo in October 2022. On February 17, 2023, the restaurant relocated to the neighboring Atsubetsu Park Bowl, so you can also use the parking lot there. The restaurant is located near Nitori Atsubetsu store along Route 12, inside Atsubetsu Park Bowl next to the JR Chitose Line viaduct, about 180 meters towards Sapporo center from there. It's just a few minutes' walk from Shin-Sapporo Dungeon. On February 26, 2023, before 2 p.m., I revisited the restaurant. The day before, I heard that Mohandish had moved, so I came to visit and eat right away. In the past, the restaurant had a low profile in Atsubetsu, possibly due to being difficult to access, unlike the main store, which sometimes has waiting customers even on weekdays. When I arrived, there was only one family waiting for takeout, but as soon as I sat down, three more groups of customers arrived. I ordered the Lamb Curry Set for 1600 yen, with spiciness level at the maximum of 100 (+200 yen for extra spiciness), and a Mango Lassi for 450 yen. It took almost 10 minutes until the order was served, which is typical for me as my orders seem to take longer than usual. I noticed halfway through that my set had one extra item - a pickled chili pepper. First, the Naan bread was excellent with a good balance of fluffiness and crispiness, perfectly cooked. The two curries, Lamb Curry and Dal Curry, had a rich flavor and spices that I love in Sapporo Nepalese curry. The chef at the new Shin-Sapporo store has great skills, but the spiciness level of 100 was not very spicy for me, more like medium spiciness. I added the pickled chili peppers to both curries, increasing the spiciness to very spicy. They also brought me two chili peppers in sherbet-like form, which I ate to further increase the spiciness to extremely hot. The rice was cooked to a perfect firmness, and the two vegetable main dishes were also very good. The Mango Lassi was rich and delicious. The background music of piano music and bowling pins clattering added to the lively atmosphere. I will definitely come back. By the way, I heard another big news that STAR is opening a new store, but it's still a secret as STAR has not announced it on social media yet. It's a good location, about a 40-minute bike ride from Shin-Sapporo, and I'm looking forward to it. I also can't wait to visit the new Mohandish store opening in Tanukikoji.

Located along National Route 12 in 2023, just inside the Abutsu Park Bowl, there is a newly relocated authentic Nepalese curry restaurant. The restaurant has expanded, now offering a spacious dining area where customers can enjoy their meals. The background music consists of the sounds of bowling balls and pins clashing, which can be a bit noisy at times. The menu is extensive, with a variety of dishes available as individual items or sets. They also serve lunch specials and beer, although they do not offer draft beer. Prices for beer start at 600 yen for a Heineken. There is no cover charge, but you can start off your meal with the "Shish Kebab" for 290 yen. The curry dishes are flavorful and rich, with options like pork with spinach for 1000 yen and spicy chicken masala for 980 yen. You can also add plain naan for 290 yen or rice for 220 yen. The curries are thick and packed with spices, offering a depth of flavor and a high-quality taste. The pork curry is aromatic and satisfying, while the chicken masala is generously portioned and has a nice level of spiciness. Overall, despite the distracting sound of bowling in the background, the freshly prepared dishes are delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Mohan Dish, which used to be a takeout place, has now become a restaurant! I tried their takeout before, but hot food is definitely more delicious. The curry has a nice balance of spices, richness, saltiness, and refreshing acidity, making it an elegant dish. I had their lunch special which included half naan, half rice, daily curry, choice of curry, and salad. They even served chai tea. You can get a second piece of naan for free. It's no surprise, as it's part of the Royal India Mohan Dish group. While there are great Indian and Nepalese curry restaurants in Kōbetsu, the convenience of this new location in Shin-Sapporo is great. They also serve alcohol in the evening. However, since it's located inside the Kōbetsu Bowling alley, the atmosphere is a bit noisy and has a bowling alley vibe. It's a bit strange with the spicy curry aroma mixing with the bowling alley scent. Maybe they're going for a synergy effect? The parking is free and it's only a 10-minute walk from Shin-Sapporo Station. It's rare to have an Indian-Nepalese curry restaurant in Shin-Sapporo, especially since they've disappeared from Chūō-ku. I saw some menu items that seemed like they could offer a meal set, so I'm looking forward to trying it next time! (I wish they had chapati or papadum, in addition to naan and rice.)

For some reason, on the map it shows that the restaurant is located in the mountains of Nagano Prefecture, but it is actually in Shin-Sapporo (lol). Including the affiliated Royal India, the Shin-Sapporo store is the fifth store in Sapporo city. It is a takeout-only store, but there are counter seats where about 5 people can sit. I stopped by after visiting the hot springs and tried their takeout menu. I ordered "Chicken Biryani" for 730 yen, "Chicken Keema Curry" for 890 yen, and "Plain Naan" for 190 yen. Additionally, there was a container fee of 44 yen for the curry. While waiting for my order, they kindly served me chai, which was sweet and aromatic, and delicious! The order was ready in about 10 minutes, and I took it home. The soft naan was slightly sweet but paired well with the chicken keema curry, which was rich in minced chicken and flavorful. The spiciness level 3 was just right for me, but my companion found it a bit too spicy, around the middle of commercial curry's medium and hot. The Chicken Biryani had a generous portion, but it seemed like it was stored in a jar after being cooked, as the spices had lost their flavor and the rice was mushy. It was a bit of a struggle to finish it. I would like to try eating at the main store next time. Thank you, Shin-Sapporo store!

A curry restaurant has appeared in the former location of the famous ramen shop! This area seemed to lack a variety of curry options, so this new addition is perfect. I ordered the dal curry, cheese naan, and chai. The dal curry is a vegetable-based curry with a strong kick of spices, and when paired with the cheese naan, it creates a delicious combination of richness and spiciness. The cheese naan is generously filled with cheese, making it a satisfying dish. The staff cooking the food appear to be of Indian descent, adding to the authenticity of the experience. Overall, it was a great meal. I would love to try their takeout options next time.

On October 12, 2022, a takeout-only curry restaurant opened at the site near Victoria Station along Line. I visited the place and ordered the chicken curry with a spice level of 5 out of 20. The curry was rich and flavorful with plenty of finely chopped vegetables, leaving a light and smooth aftertaste. The spice level of 5 was not very spicy for me, but it paired well with bread for a delicious meal. It has become my favorite curry!

I brought a flyer with a coupon, but it turns out that now you can enjoy a discount at Mohandish, a takeout specialty store, even without the coupon. Mohandish New Sapporo store is located in a corner of Hokuetsu Park Ball and Victoria Station Hokuetsu store, a little hard to find in a back alley, but it stands out with its yellow sign and orange exterior. It's best to choose what you want to eat in advance, place a phone order, and pick it up. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced at the checkout, but with the help of someone, we managed to pay using the register. Our order included Spicy Chicken Masala and Plain Naan for takeout, with an additional charge for the containers. The Spicy Chicken Masala had the signature Mohandish flavor - a well-balanced spiciness with a rich taste, not too oily, and chunks of chicken and crunchy onions. I chose level 19 spiciness, which was quite hot, almost making me tear up. After finishing the meal, my lips felt a bit numb from the heat. The only downside was that the naan was slightly stuck together in the paper bag, and the taste seemed a bit diminished compared to eating in the restaurant. Although Mohandish is a takeout specialty store, it seems that you can also dine in.

[Completely Non-Smoking] Mohandish, a popular Nepalese and Indian curry restaurant in the Yon Area near Subway Kita-Nijuyonjo Station, opened in Shin-Sapporo in October 2022. The restaurant is small, with takeout being the main option, but dining in is also available. Please note that the map information on Tabelog is completely different from the actual location of the restaurant. For those using the map, please be aware. The restaurant is located around Nitri Atsubetsu Store, near Atsubetsu Park Bowl parking lot (unconfirmed information that parking may not be available as it is within the Atsubetsu Park Bowl premises). It is about 180 meters from under the JR Chitose Line viaduct towards Sapporo city center. It is just a few minutes' walk from Shin-Sapporo Dungeon. On October 26, 2022, at 12:00, I visited for the first time after cycling about 60 km that day and achieving my minimum goal for the season of 5000 km. I decided to stop by here for some hot chai on my cycling route. Why not curry? Just chai? I anticipate this question and explain that based on previous reviews, it was mentioned that only up to level 5 spiciness could be ordered, so I decided not to have curry today and prepared some side dishes at home. However, when I asked, they said they can make it up to level 100 spiciness. Great! Next time, I'll definitely try the curry. I ordered a hot chai for 300 yen. Since the bag was charged separately, I declined it. Let's take a photo and enjoy it on the way back. The piping hot chai, without sugar, had a hint of ginger flavor, which quickly warmed me up as my body temperature dropped to the low 30s. I will visit the restaurant soon to try the level 100 spiciness dish. On this day, Mogu-tan cycled for 2 hours and 44 minutes, covering a distance of 60.19 km, with an average speed of 21.9 km/h and a maximum speed of 38.8 km/h. I met a squirrel preparing for winter, a swan taking a break on the way, and many other wild friends. 🧡

It's a place in Atsubetsu-ku, specifically in Atsubetsu Chuo 3-jo 4-chome along National Route 12. I found out that an Indian curry restaurant has opened in a building where a light-tasting ramen shop used to be, so I decided to check it out. I parked my car and walked towards the restaurant, checked the menu on the wall, and then entered. I ordered the "Spicy Chicken Masala" with spice level 4, along with a "Plain Naan," paid, and waited for about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. While waiting, I passed the time in my car. When the curry was ready, I went back inside to pick it up, then returned home. I warmed up the Spicy Chicken Masala in the microwave and started eating with a spoon. It was a chicken curry with a good amount of spice, making it easy to eat with tender chicken. The spice level at 4 was between medium and hot in store-bought curry. I also warmed up the Naan in the microwave, tore it by hand, dipped it in the curry, and finished the meal. This time, I tried the basic Indian curry, but I look forward to trying biryani or tandoori dishes next time.
