There is a super rich soft serve ice cream with a combination of milk and dark chocolate flavors available in regular cone and mini cup sizes. The cup is priced at 380 yen. The dark chocolate flavor was so rich that it felt heavy, but the mix of milk and dark chocolate was just right and delicious. The free drink was a nice bonus.

I heard rumors about the deliciousness of the soft serve ice cream at the fruit sandwich shop, so I decided to visit during my trip back home. They offer three flavors: "milk," "dark chocolate," and a mix of the two. They also have parfaits made with fresh fruits. I ordered the dark chocolate soft serve ice cream cup this time. The soft serve ice cream was served in a cup and looked deliciously glossy. I started by taking a bite from the pointed top of the ice cream. It was rich and creamy, almost like licking melted couverture chocolate. The texture was so smooth and velvety, and it melted in my mouth, leaving a strong chocolate flavor. The soft serve ice cream machine they use is Carpigiani, and I was impressed by how they achieved such a thick and creamy texture. If you enjoy rich and decadent chocolate soft serve ice cream, I highly recommend this place. I have tried chocolate soft serve ice cream from various places across the country, but this one is definitely top-notch. Thank you for the delicious treat!

・Miyagi Another Chocolate - 490 yen (tax included)
・Ibaraki Green Flesh Melon and Mascarpone - 750 yen (tax included)
I chose the Ibaraki Green Flesh Melon and Mascarpone. The ripe sweetness of the melon and mascarpone make a perfect match. It's nice to have such an encounter with the first melon of the year. Also, the bread baked one by one in the store has a soft sponge-like texture that melts in your mouth. It's like a sweet sandwich.

I used it during my trip to Hokkaido. It is a popular shop on Tanukikoji that offers both dining in and takeout. The interior of the shop has a stylish cafe-like atmosphere which is nice! Majisand is famous for their fruit sandwiches made with plenty of fresh cream and carefully selected fruits! So, this time I ordered the Hokkaido strawberry and fresh cream fruit sandwich. I decided to enjoy it inside the shop. The fluffy dough filled with fresh cream and strawberries. Just looking at it makes my happiness level skyrocket...! The dough is like cake dough, and even the fresh cream is fluffy. Plus, it's quite creamy! The strawberries are sweet and sour, and each one is quite large! This is really satisfying. Although I only had one this time because I wanted to try other shops, I really wanted to try two more fruit sandwiches... But even with just one, I felt quite satisfied, and I'm sure receiving it as a gift would boost anyone's mood. I would like to use it again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

Hello from Hokkaido♡ Hokkaido is really great, isn't it!! I visited Sapporo fruit sandwich and sweets shop "Majisand"♡ They have many seasonal items, so it's worth checking out. It's located in Tanukikoji in Susukino♡, which is like a shopping street. The interior is luxurious and the bread is not just one type, they use plain, chocolate, and Earl Grey tea-infused dough. Three types caught my eye: Miyagi Chocolate Another One - fluffy and soft chocolate bread with cream and a large strawberry, so delicious♡ Ehime Seemingly Tango Orange with Greek Yogurt and Earl Grey - the Earl Grey scented dough with juicy Tango orange is delicious, and the yogurt is just right♡ Shizuoka Blueberry and Cream Cheese - like a work of art fruit sandwich. The cream is luxurious and the taste is overwhelming, I love this one too^ - ^ It was delicious.

[I went to enjoy the seriously made fruit sandwich and soft serve by a patissier in Sapporo, Hokkaido]
[Fruit Sandwich]
A cake-like fruit sandwich gathered from various regions nationwide, featuring seasonal fruits wrapped in rich cream! The fruits are plentiful and crunchy, showcasing their freshness. It's not overly sweet, so there's no guilt with all the fruits packed in. The bread is moist and smooth, without the typical sponge-like texture of cakes. I tried the huge Amaou strawberry sandwich from Fukuoka, along with Kumamoto Banpeiyu, Kagoshima Kinkan, and strained yogurt. Both were luxurious and satisfying. Depending on the season, there are various options available, such as Miyagi cream, Miyagi chocolate, Shizuoka orange with white chocolate and Earl Grey, ripe banana with chocolate, Aomori apple with Hokkaido honey and rum, Honey Glow Pine, and Hokkaido sweet potato.
[Soft Serve]
Using the Carpigiani machine, known as the Ferrari of the soft serve world, the soft serve here is rich and creamy. I chose vanilla, and it was the best soft serve I've ever had! Each bite was like paradise, incredibly rich and smooth. My husband ordered the mix, and the chocolate was amazing! The staff even advised that if you're not a chocolate lover, don't order it, as it's the most intense chocolate you'll ever taste. Both the sandwich and soft serve were unbeatable. They also offer complimentary detox water made with seasonal fruits. I definitely want to go back!

"Majisand/ located in Sapporo, Chuo-ku, Tanukikoji 1-chome, 3 minutes from Odori Station. A serious "Gachi Sand" made by a patissier.
- Menu available! (All prices include tax)
【Miyagi Another Cherry Blossom and Mochi】¥590
Cherry blossom dough with cherry blossom bean paste inside! Delicious! The balance of cherry blossom sweetness and strawberry acidity is the best. The not too sweet whipped cream has a moderate sweetness, and the heart-shaped strawberry is cute.
【Mixed Soft Serve】¥450
Very rich and smooth! I had the mixed flavor, but it was heavy on chocolate! The chocolate was so rich that towards the end, I found it too heavy. I think it would be delicious to have a mix with more vanilla to balance it out! The waffle cone is crispy and delicious!
- Coffee and water are not available! They also had detox water!
A sandwich shop where a patissier makes sandwiches seriously! Reservations for takeout by phone are also OK. Sandwiches range from ¥490 to 700 each! No restroom! There are 2 table seats and 2 benches!

Simple monochrome interior!

I visited "Maji Sand" for the first time on December 19th. I always thought of fruit sandwiches as either a meal or a dessert, but when I actually tried it, it was delicious. The owner of the shop is a pastry chef who leans towards the dessert side. The texture of the bread varies, but the flavors were something I had never considered before. I arrived at 5:15 PM and they had all the sandwich options available. However, as someone with aging eyes, the small print was a bit hard to read (laughs).
I purchased:
- Miyagi "Mouikko" for 490 yen
- Wakayama orange, strained yogurt, and Earl Grey for 580 yen
The sandwiches were half the size of a regular sandwich but incredibly thick (laughs). They were neatly packed in a beautiful box and paper bag, which could be reused as well. I shared them with my daughter at home. I was a bit worried, but I managed to cut them neatly in half with a small knife. Perhaps the bread is made differently to allow for clean cutting. Even if you bite into it directly, it doesn't seem to make a mess.
The Miyagi "Mouikko" turned out to be a type of strawberry. I was unaware of this variety. I recently tried the "Kirin Hyoketsu Miyagi Strawberry Mouikko (limited edition)" a few days ago. It just hit the market. I tend to try out limited edition and new products quite often. The balance between sweetness and acidity (sugar-acid ratio) was high, with no watery taste, making it perfect for a fruit sandwich. The cream's texture and sweetness were excellent, enhancing the fruit's natural sweetness.
When considering the price of a fruit sandwich, it may seem expensive, but compared to buying a cake, it actually feels quite reasonable. I also chose the Wakayama orange, strained yogurt, and Earl Grey as I couldn't find orange daifuku at another store recently. Combining such watery items requires great skill. Inside the box was a menu card for the day, showing that they create new menus daily. It was quite interesting to read through it. Thank you for the meal.

The patissier's seriously crafted fruit sandwich! I tried the fruit sandwich made by the patissier. They carefully select "excellent" and "good" grade fruits for use, and use Hokkaido-produced fresh cream with a rich flavor and a refreshing aftertaste as their concept. I didn't take a photo of the entire showcase, but I was torn between all the options because they all looked delicious. While I have tried fruit sandwiches from other shops, these were all new to me. With a focus on the dough, fruits, and fresh cream, they created a seriously crafted fruit sandwich that I definitely want to try the classics as well. So, I opted for the cost-effective half-size set of four different varieties. I also tried the fig wine fruit sandwich. When in doubt or for gifting, having the option of a half-size set is very convenient. ◆ Half-size set of 4: 1,000 yen ◆ Aichi-produced fig wine overnight pickled: 630 yen ◆ Masumoe Partridge with rum and caramel: 550 yen The combination of ripe bananas and chocolate is a match made in heaven, and the creamy chocolate enveloping the banana gives a sweet treat sensation. The dough is fluffy, the fruits are large with a satisfying bite, and the fresh cream disappears in your mouth instantly. It's delicious♡ Despite the calorie intake, I feel no guilt because it disappears in your mouth haha. The fig wine overnight pickled figs are soaked in red wine and sandwiched with a chocolate dough. I thought the chocolate dough might be too sweet, but it's not overly sweet. The crunchy texture of the fig adds to the adult flavor of this fruit sandwich! I haven't tried the Masumoe Partridge with rum and caramel, but the natural sweetness of the partridge, combined with caramel and rum, serves as an accent, creating another adult fruit sandwich. Overall, the patissier's dedication and seriousness in crafting these fruit sandwiches were evident in every bite.

I was asked to buy a souvenir and ended up bringing back a galette from here. It was the perfect size for a gift. There were two flavors of galette, and I chose the galette coco. It had a subtle coconut flavor and the sweetness and aroma of almonds, reminding me of the charcoal-baked biscuits I used to eat. This shop is known for its fruit sandwiches, but I haven't tried one yet despite coming here a few times. Maybe next time I'll order one and finally try it...? Thank you for the meal.

Popular shop in Tanukikoji 1-chome known for delicious fruit sandwiches. I stumbled upon it by chance after having lunch nearby without specifically researching the location. Their specialty is "fruit sandwiches created by a serious patissier," and they also offer soft serve ice cream, parfaits, and galettes. If you dine in, you can enjoy complimentary coffee and detox water at the drink corner. I decided to dine in and ordered the "Shine Muscat" fruit sandwich. It was like a cake, with a luxurious lineup including "Ryuden Suika and Salt Cream," "Furano Melon and Namazake Sake Aroma," "Hokkaido Blueberry and Cream Cheese," "Fukushima White Peach and Chardonnay Jelly," and "Ripe Banana and Chocolate." The price is a bit high, but the quality is worth it. The Shine Muscat sandwich I chose was shining and delicious, made with high-sugar content and juicy sweetness. The whipped cream was subtly sweet, and the bread was moist. I also enjoyed the coffee and detox water. The detox water had a pleasant fruit aroma, made with fruit peels. Prices vary depending on the fruit, starting from the 400 yen range. Some more extravagant options are in the 700 yen range. I think they live up to their name "Maji Sand"!

The showcase was moved to a new location, and tables and chairs were set up for dining in. This time, I tried the parfait, which had fresh fruits, sponge cake, and jelly inside, giving it a satisfying texture. And of course, the fruit sandwich was delicious as always! It came in a set of three varieties in a box, so I purchased that this time. This is a must-visit shop whenever I'm nearby! (^ー^)

Located in Tanukikoji 1-chome, this shop is so cute ♡ I've passed by it before, but this was my first time going inside! It seems like they've renovated since the last time I saw the layout, with all the fruit sandwiches looking so beautiful on display!! They would make great gifts and make you want to buy one for yourself too ♡ They also have an eat-in space where you can enjoy water, detox water, and coffee ⸜( ⌓̈ )⸝ On this day, I was having a picnic for cherry blossom viewing at Sousei River and felt like having something sweet for dessert, but the nearby soft serve ice cream shop was closed ( ˃ ˂ ) so I went to this shop nearby instead ♡ They had a mixed flavor but it was sold out that day! I had the milk flavor (´˘`*) They use Akai River milk, so it was incredibly rich and creamy ♡ When I had soft serve ice cream at Akai River before, it had a refreshing taste with a hint of milkiness, but I wonder if they added something special to it here? Next time, I want to try their fruit sandwich! Thank you for the meal ♡

On December 28, 2021, at 13:35, after skiing with my little one, we stopped by a famous restaurant nearby for udon noodles and then decided to try some dessert. My little one worked hard even though he doesn't really like skiing. I got a strawberry dessert called "Nikoniko Berry" from Miyagi (490 yen) and a Shine Muscat from Yamagata (750 yen). When we got home, we cut them in half and enjoyed the strawberries together, while my wife and second son had the Shine Muscat. The pastries were amazing, with moist bread and rich cream that wasn't greasy. The fruits were also top-notch. This place is perfect for when you want to feel a bit fancy and indulge in some high-quality treats.

I have had fruit sandwiches from convenience stores and bakeries before, but the ones from a specialty shop were on a different level of deliciousness! The bread was soft, the fruits were plentiful, and the cream was not too sweet but tasty! It felt like eating a cake. It really filled my heart with joy. I will definitely go back to buy more.

Hello everyone! After enjoying some beef cutlet and sushi, I took a stroll down Tanuki Koji street and came across "Maji Sand" shop. Let's go there for dessert, they have soft serve ice cream! I recommend the mixed cone for 380 yen. They have outdoor seating as well. The chocolate here is dairy-free and has a strong bitter taste. If you like chocolate, this might be for you. The milk soft serve doesn't have a strong dairy taste, so it pairs well with the bitter chocolate. Overall, it was a delicious treat!

A stylish shop that doesn't look like a sandwich shop. I was drawn in by the soft serve ice cream they had (lol). The machine only had waffle cones, no cups. The soft serve from Yamanaka Farm was refreshing! It's nice to have something light on a hot day. It's a shame that Tanuki Koji Street doesn't get many visitors.

I had some errands on Tanuki Koji Street, and after finishing them, I decided to stop by this place. I had known about it for a while and was curious, but I had never been there before. They make seriously good fruit sandwiches... However, I always end up not choosing fruit sandwiches for lunch or dinner, even though they look delicious. But I couldn't resist peeking inside to see what they had... Oh, there was a sign that read "GELABO's Serious Soft Cream." Oh... so the pastry chef is serious not only about sandwiches but also about soft serve ice cream. I must try it to see how serious it is! So I ordered the milk flavor with a waffle cone for ¥380. The soft serve ice cream had a very smooth texture. The sweetness was moderate, a bit on the sweeter side perhaps. Mmm, delicious! I couldn't resist taking lots of pictures. I took too many pictures, and I noticed that it started melting a bit when I was taking photos outside the store. It wasn't that the soft serve ice cream melted easily, but rather that I didn't eat it quickly enough... Next time, I want to try the creme brulee soft serve ice cream...! Thank you for the meal!

I tried the brulee soft serve at the shop. The brulee was thick and crispy, with lots of vanilla bean specks at the bottom. It was delicious! However, the soft serve started to melt and overflow from the cup when I tried to eat it. The fruit sandwich with strawberries and pineapples didn't taste quite right, maybe because the cream had started to separate due to being carried around for a while. It was a bit disappointing.

I was curious about Magi Sand, so I visited today mainly for the soft serve ice cream rather than the fruit sandwich. It is from Yamanaka Farm, so my expectations were high. The chocolate was described as heavy and rich, which caught my attention. I hesitated but decided to go for the mix flavor. I also got an strawberry sandwich in the end. Even though I only bought one sandwich, they packed it nicely in a box and paper bag. Now, let's try the soft serve. It's black! Indeed, it looks rich! Upon tasting it, I was surprised by how intense and chocolatey it was, almost like a chocolate ganache. I like it quite a lot. The mix flavor was strong on the chocolate side, and it was hard to distinguish the milk flavor. I even tried to eat just the milk part, but the chocolate kept sticking to it. Nonetheless, it was delicious! I would like to try it again. Next time, I might want to try just the milk flavor, but I might end up craving the chocolate again. The strawberry sandwich was average. The whipped cream wasn't too sweet, and the strawberries were refreshing and slightly tangy. It would have been better if the bread was more chewy to maintain the overall texture. It tends to fall apart easily, and the bread absorbs the juiciness of the strawberries, affecting the texture. It looks cute, so it would make a nice souvenir. Thank you for the meal!
