Welcome! ┌¬o"* * * 2015.10 ↓ After the old man's shop, it's the son's shop |o| °д°)ノ|ЮGachon From Kavachon to (= ´∀´)ノ凵゛ Let's start with the Shishamo Nanbanzuke, this goes well with sake, right? Next time, don't put too much foam on the dashippe. When you come to Koseki, you have to order the sashimi platter. "Boiled shrimp, homemade marinated mackerel, yellowtail, salmon, octopus legs" If it's boiled, Tom is the only one who doubts the freshness... The octopus' texture combined with the richness of the salmon and yellowtail is delicious!! The mackerel has a nice acidity to it. The grilled dumplings are served with homemade sauce. Juicy and flavorful! It feels like it used to have more impact before, but maybe that's just me. Seafood ajillo is next - octopus, small shrimp, clams, with a lot of garlic for a strong impact! The fluffy bread soaks up the strong garlic and chili pepper flavors. I dipped about 1.5 pieces of bread and it became quite oily. Well, that's to be expected. I ordered all four types of fruit liquor. The super-rich yogurt must have about ten times more bifidobacteria than regular yogurt. The table at the back didn't have good air conditioning, maybe because there were no windows. It's rare to find a restaurant that can beat the old man in taste, but this place serves delicious food, thank you for the meal. ------------- タ ---- ニ ---- オ ---- リ ----------------* * * 2015.05 ↓ In Sumikawa, Minami Ward, behind Sumikawa Station, there is an izakaya. There are Romantei and Kawanami Shokudo nearby. |o| °д°)ノ|ЮGachon Wow! It's almost full even though it's only 6 p.m.! It's a popular place that you have to make a reservation for, but luckily the counter in the middle was empty, so I decided to visit. I could hear children's voices from the back, so there must be a raised tatami area. The owner and I were classmates with Opera Oga-chan, and she kept saying, "You haven't been there yet?" Glad I finally found the opportunity to go. We exchanged greetings and got some towels, then started with Kyoho grape sour. Let's start with the chicken burdock salad. Softly cooked burdock and steamed chicken with plenty of mayo. Dropping soy sauce and drinking sake is a great way to enjoy the meal. Looking at the menu, both the food and drinks are cheap! Whether it's because of that or not, there are many elderly locals here. The back wall is filled with seasonal sashimi and recommended dishes, which I can see from the blackboard. It's hard not to order when you see the seasonal sashimi platter with 5 types. For a single person, two pieces of sashimi are usually enough to satisfy, so I'm happy with this. The fresh bluefin tuna has a thick and intense flavor. The live octopus is really fresh! The sweet shrimp is seriously sweet. The Shima trout from Shikotsu has a rich and flavorful meat that is hard to come by. The Kumaishi live hokke has small bones, but the firmness of the meat makes it worth it. I really wanted to try the homemade marinated mackerel... The sashimi soy sauce is from Kyushu, and every time I use it, I feel like eating horse sashimi. I came here to try the gyoza that was featured on TV. The plump gyoza with lots of green onions is quite erotic. Despite being seasoned, it's surprisingly light. The balance between the sweetness of the green onions and the deliciousness of the meat is exquisite. One piece fills your mouth nicely, it has a good volume. It was a short hour, but surprisingly the turnover is fast. The local community-oriented restaurant, loved by the elderly, thank you for the meal!
