I have conquered quite a few Yubari melon soft serves. The only one left is here, on the Melroad premises. It has a chic atmosphere with soft serves, gelato, parfaits, and many combinations to choose from, making it easy to fulfill your wish of wanting to eat this and that!! The collaboration of soft serve and gelato, Sofujera. I wanted both flavors to be melon, but the gelato melon was sold out so I went with Hokkaido milk, which was delicious! The melon flavor was also good. It melted quickly and I rushed to take a picture, so it came out blurry~~~. Thank you for the meal~♬

This is the roadside station Yubari Melroad. The weather is nice, perfect for soft serve ice cream. I've tried the soft serve inside Melroad before, so this time I decided to try the one here. They have a variety of delicious looking menu items. I was drawn to their special note: "Our soft serve ice cream is made with so much love for Yubari melons that the factory gets annoyed. Please try our pride and joy." Intrigued, I ordered a mini size mix soft serve in a cone to be safe. The mini size was quite generous for 250 yen tax included! The presentation was also well done. With the first bite, I was pleasantly surprised by the aroma and flavor. Even as a Yubari melon enthusiast, I was impressed by the deliciousness. I definitely want to try the regular size Yubari melon soft serve next time. Thank you, "Bernies"!

In September 2017, I tried the Yubari Melon Mini Ice Cream at the Yubari Michi-no-Eki. I was surprised to find an ice cream shop there, which apparently opened in May this year. Since I was in Yubari, I decided to go for the Yubari Melon flavor. The ice cream was tiny, with small cuts of Yubari Melon on top. The size of the melon cuts was disappointing, about 1.5 cm each. The mini ice cream was really mini, almost like 70% of a kid's size ice cream from Baskin Robbins. Despite the small size, the ice cream tasted good. However, for the price of 500 yen, I expected more. If it was 350 yen, I wouldn't complain. Overall, it was a bit underwhelming for the price.
