In the evening of December 1st, my wife requested to be taken to Sapporo. Although I didn't have anything in particular I wanted to buy, I agreed to go out for dinner somewhere. As we headed to Sapporo Station, the weather suddenly turned into a blizzard. The snowstorm got so bad that we decided to turn back. We were unsure of what to do for dinner! We decided to stop by a nearby Seven-Eleven to buy something to eat on our way back. Since we moved, this Seven-Eleven in Kuriyama Tsugitate store has become the closest one to us. We'll probably be using it a lot in the future! We looked at bento boxes and rice balls, but ended up buying oden today. I don't usually buy oden from convenience stores, but my wife likes it. It's good to have it once in a while. My favorite oden ingredient is beef tendon. I tried a variety of other ingredients today. It was surprisingly delicious! There were some unique ingredients too, which made the purchase enjoyable. Thank you for the meal! We'll definitely be back!

【Takeout】Today turned out to be a day where I didn't have to go to work. However, my wife wasn't feeling well, and I didn't have the energy to go out anywhere, so I decided to spend the day cleaning and doing laundry at home. By the time I finished various tasks, it was already lunchtime. I asked my wife what she wanted to do, but she said she didn't have the energy to cook. So, I decided to go to the nearest convenience store to buy something. It was surprising that my most frequently used convenience store, the Kurayama Tsugutate store of Seven-Eleven, wasn't even registered on Tabelog (^^;) So, I went ahead and registered it (lol). My wife said she wanted noodles. I went to the noodle section and called her. In the end, my wife chose Napolitan. Now, what should I get? Noodles or a bento box would be good. Then, what caught my eye was the Tonkotsu Ramen supervised by Tomita. I remembered that I had tried Tomita's cold noodles before and it was terrible (^^;) But, this time it's just regular hot ramen, right!? I also had a sense of curiosity. Let's go with this. I will heat it up at home, so I brought it back as it is. When I arrived home, I heated up my wife's Napolitan and served it to her. Then, I microwaved the Tonkotsu Ramen. Now, let's try it! It's a typical Jiro-style ramen. It doesn't have that much impact, but the large slices of chashu really stand out. Let's dig in. The soup isn't that abundant, so I pulled out a mouthful of noodles. Oh, I see, I see. It has a good thickness and chewiness (^^♪ For convenience store noodles, it's quite excellent. The taste is not bad either. The tonkotsu broth, garlic, and oil flavors are quite authentic. The chashu, despite not being as thick as it looks, is tender, and the bean sprouts are tasty, the cabbage is decent, overall, the specs are not bad at all. In reality, I intentionally left a little soup, but I finished it all. My wife also seemed to enjoy the Napolitan more than she expected. Above all, it seems that convenience store noodles have some good products. Sometimes, having lunch like this might be nice. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal♪
