On Wednesday at 7:00 PM, I went to "Opus One" in Nihonbashi. The exterior looks like a business hotel or cabaret, with distinctive neon signs. The appetizer was "shijimi" (freshwater clams), which paired well with beer. When I looked at the menu, there were no prices listed. I nervously ordered several dishes. "Sashimi of red sea bream" was prepared in front of me, with a mix of sugar, salt, peanut oil, and soy sauce. It was delicious, with the sweet daikon radish, fried skin, peanuts, and fresh red sea bream creating a perfect blend of flavors. The sauce was also perfectly balanced. This dish may be the restaurant's specialty. The "corn soup" had a nice texture with the natural sweetness of corn. The "sweet and sour pork" was simple yet delicious, with lean pork that you could eat a lot of. The "boiled lettuce" was a simple dish with an amazing sauce. The "tofu simmered in oyster sauce" was rich and flavorful. I forgot to take a photo because it was so delicious. The "fried rice" was a luxurious dish with plenty of crab. The "noodle soup with green onions and char siu" was light yet flavorful, with a hint of sesame oil and the umami of green onions and char siu. The service was top-notch, with each person's bill calculated separately and change returned individually. The food, performance, and service were all excellent. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

The lunch course started with a seafood and nut salad. The counter seats overlook the open kitchen, where the salad was prepared right in front of us. It had a nice touch of cilantro (which can be omitted) and was delicious! Overall, the dishes were subtly flavored, more like Japanese cuisine than heavy Chinese food. The restaurant has a luxurious atmosphere and the flavors are spot on. A gourmet experience for adults, I definitely want to come back again.

Today, I used Opus One for entertaining again. Last time was during the day, but today was in the evening. I wanted to treat my clients who have been so helpful, so I made a reservation and visited. I chose the 13,200 yen course. This restaurant is a bit far from the station, but perhaps because of that, the cost performance seems to be good. The dishes made with high-quality ingredients are wonderful. From the beginning to the end, everything is delicious. There wasn't a single dish that I thought was mediocre. If you want to enjoy stable high-class Chinese cuisine with good cost performance, even if the transportation is a bit inconvenient, I think this restaurant is the place to go.

I was told that the Chinese food here is the best, so I went for dinner. The restaurant had two large tables in the back, as well as a counter and small tables. I was excited while waiting, and the first dish of Chinese-style sashimi of stonefish was served. The head chef seasoned it right in front of us. The service was excellent, with the other dishes being divided onto separate plates for us. I really want to go back. Everything we had was delicious! However, the prices are a bit high. The course we had this time was 13,200 yen. It might not be enough for big eaters, but it's a good amount for women. The flavors were not overwhelming. From abalone to shrimp, sea bream, shark fin, and beef, you can enjoy luxurious ingredients at this restaurant.

The sea bream salad is enhanced by the delicious flavor of cilantro. They ask if you like cilantro before serving, which is great service. The shrimp is easy to eat as it is already peeled. The lotus leaf rice is plentiful, and by the time we reached dessert, we were already full.

I continue to visit a long-established Chinese restaurant in Takatsu, where the frequency has decreased but I still go there. In the past, they were famous for their seafood dish called "Kaio," and they were pioneers in incorporating dishes like sashimi of stonefish, which has now become common, and performing in front of customers. It is a nostalgic and comforting place, like the gateway to high-end Chinese cuisine for our generation. I used to frequent Koshimata when it was still in Hongke, but unfortunately it closed down, so now Opus One is the only place left, but it is still a place I have been visiting for many years. The menu includes stonefish sashimi, simmered shark fin soup, boiled shrimp, steamed crab, abalone in oyster sauce, beef fillet steak, fried rice, soup noodles, coconut pudding, and peach steamed bun.

The Chinese cuisine at Opus One in Nipponbashi, Osaka, is incredibly delicious. It is a prestigious Chinese restaurant that has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants, offering a luxurious dining experience with impeccable service and mouth-watering dishes. It is my favorite restaurant, perfect for a date night. Highly recommended.

Visited by reservation at 12:00 on Saturday. The counter seats offer a full view of the kitchen, where the chef can be heard giving somewhat strict instructions to the other kitchen staff. Despite the strictness, the dishes were served promptly and efficiently, so it was not a big deal. The food was all delicious. The soup was just average. The main focus was on the Chinese sashimi, scallops, and shrimp. The flavors were enough to make me want to come back for dinner. Overall, I would say it was quite good.

I visited this restaurant again after about 1.5 years. This time, I sat at the counter for the first time. It was fun to watch the dishes being prepared efficiently in the open kitchen, but it was difficult to hear the conversation due to the noise. The food was surprisingly mild in flavor, not what you would expect from Chinese cuisine, but it was incredibly delicious. When I compared the dishes to the photos from my previous visit, they were almost the same, but I was satisfied so it wasn't an issue.

I was actually a bit nervous because I heard it was a famous restaurant and thought it might be expensive. But no, I was pleasantly surprised. It is certainly elegant Chinese cuisine, but you can still relax and enjoy yourself, even with a big group of relatives. The full course meal was amazing, especially the tenderness of the meat. It was a finished product that we couldn't replicate at home.

Table seat, reservation, bustling atmosphere, a la carte order. I wanted more of the red snapper dish! Why did they make it just one serving! Next time, I'll order two servings! Shrimp chili, beef with oyster sauce, mapo tofu, fried rice, all perfect and delicious! No pretentiousness, just straightforward and the red snapper was the only unique dish! Definitely a reliable restaurant.

From Namba, beyond the Kuromon Market. It looks like the entrance to an apartment building, so I accidentally passed it at first. Turn back, turn back! When you hear Opus One, do you think of wine? No, no, this is a Chinese restaurant. The interior has a luxurious feel, perfect for bringing along someone important. The omakase course (4180 yen) is fantastic. It starts with Chinese-style white fish sashimi. The finishing touch, mixing and plating it tableside, is entertaining! The aroma of coriander and sesame oil is delicious! The crab, bamboo shoots, and egg soup has a gentle, soothing flavor. The prawns in the shrimp chili are big and juicy, cooked just right. The stir-fried scallops and vegetables feature huge scallops that are perfectly cooked! I just wished for a bit more salt. The chimaki is wrapped in lotus leaves instead of bamboo, steamed to perfection. The sticky rice is delicious. There are two desserts: a coconut and cream mousse that is fluffy, and a hot steamed egg yolk bun that brings a smile to your face with its delightful taste. I really liked this hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant.

On the first day of the 3-day weekend, my parents wanted to eat Chinese food, so we made a reservation and visited the restaurant together. I had seen reviews of this place before and was intrigued, but when we arrived, I was surprised by the stylish exterior that didn't look like a typical Chinese restaurant. We arrived earlier than planned, but the staff warmly welcomed us and seated us promptly. Since I had driven to the restaurant, I opted for Jasmine tea (complimentary) and chose the lunch course for 4180 yen, which included appetizers, 3 main dishes, rice, and dessert. Before ordering the course, I noticed one of their signature dishes, the sashimi of stonefish, and decided to order it. We also added some dishes based on our appetite. The stonefish sashimi was brought to us by the chef, who skillfully seasoned it right in front of us. It had a luxurious taste, just like the high-end Chinese restaurants I remembered. The following soup and dishes were also delicious and well-crafted. We added an extra order of sweet and sour pork, a classic menu item that still had a touch of elegance. The rice was wrapped in lotus leaves, a unique and tasty way to end the meal. The dessert, which consisted of two items, was also creatively prepared and delicious. The atmosphere and service were excellent, and the price was reasonable at under 5000 yen per person. It was a lunch with great value. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This time I received a course for work. It was a Chinese restaurant on the first floor of an apartment near Kuromon Market. It may seem a little hard to find at first, but once you open the door, you will be greeted with wonderful and courteous service (^O^) First, I ordered a draft beer and they brought out these delicious clams as a starter. They are so tasty that you'll want to keep eating more. And then there was the usual dish with sea bream, daikon, and some other ingredients. It's also delicious. I apologize for not providing much explanation. But it really is delicious. I think the course on that day was probably not too expensive. We had scallops, meat, shrimp chili, and finished with fried rice wrapped in bamboo leaves. The fried rice was really good, but they always serve the bamboo leaf-wrapped rice here. It was also delicious. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed the meal very much. Thank you for the feast.

The entrance is a bit hard to find, but once you enter, you'll find a long restaurant. We reserved a course for three people in advance. The dishes were brought out on large plates and then plated individually by the staff at a nearby cart. The appetizers looked beautiful and tasted even better than expected. The staff explained each dish carefully and everything we tried was delicious. For the finale, we had the option to choose a soup or rice dish, and we chose the soup since we were also enjoying some drinks. It was delicious until the very end. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited a seafood Chinese restaurant that I don't usually go to, in response to a birthday request. The restaurant was located in an unexpected area, but it had a separate and calm atmosphere. I opted for the 6600 yen lunch course, which included Chinese-style sashimi, crab-filled shark fin soup, shrimp chili, scallop stir-fry, steamed sea bream, a choice of finishing dish, and dessert. The sashimi was delicious with a crunchy texture and well-matched vegetables. The shark fin soup was generous in portion. The main dishes were all subtly and elegantly seasoned, especially the sweet flavor of the scallops and the fluffy texture of the sea bream were exceptional. Even though I was already full, I chose fried rice and chimaki for the finishing dishes. Chimaki was an unusual choice but it was deliciously light and chewy. For dessert, I had custard buns and coconut milk, both light and tasty. Each dish was elegant, body-friendly, and very delicious. I would like to visit again for another special occasion. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I used the Father's Day lunch course. The service was polite and the restaurant was clean and had a sense of cleanliness. The course included: Red snapper Shanghai-style sashimi, Shark fin soup, Stir-fried scallops and asparagus, Oyster stir-fried fish, Fried rice, and dessert. The red snapper Shanghai-style sashimi that came out first was very delicious! The balance between the crunchy peanuts was good. All the dishes were very delicious, but because I have a shellfish allergy, the shrimp chili sauce was changed to oyster stir-fried fish for everyone. The timing of serving with the next table was the same, and my father loves shrimp, so I wished they had at least served shrimp to him. But there's nothing to be done about it. Thank you for the meal ★

No matter what you eat, it's absolutely delicious!!! I think it's the number one Chinese restaurant in Osaka to be proud of. You can eat various things in small portions, so you end up eating until you're full (sweat). - Sashimi of red sea bream: Even when busy, the chef comes to finish it, and you can feel the hospitality. The crunchy texture of the red sea bream, the thickly cut daikon radish, the crispy fried skin, and the fragrant sauce are excellent. The aroma, taste, and texture are meticulously calculated, and no matter how many times you eat it, you want to eat it again. - Whole shark fin soup: The large and beautiful shark fin has no smell, and the elegant and fragrant soup is just delicious. - Steamed snow crab: Soft and tender snow crab steamed carefully with vinegar. The sweetness of the crab is maximized, and it's the best. - Abalone: The abalone, which is cut thickly, is so tender that it seems to melt in the soup. The sauce has a strong flavor, but the flavor of the abalone is greatly enhanced, and it's hard to express, but it's just delicious. - Fillet steak: The taste is good, but the cooking is amazing. Despite the Chinese wok reaching a very high temperature, the chef's skill in cooking it so tender is impressive. - Ramen: I usually prefer fried rice, but here I always have ramen. The light and elegant soup has a great umami and aroma, and it's addictive. - Dessert: I'm already quite full by this point, but I can still enjoy the light and refreshing cream and coconut mousse. Finally, we finished the dinner with a steamed bun as smooth and bouncy as my daughter's (3 years old) buttocks, and it was a very satisfying dinner.

Opus One is a Chinese restaurant located a 5-7 minute walk from Nihonbashi Station. It is a prestigious restaurant with a counter and table seating, and was selected as one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the west in 2021. The attentive service adds to the enjoyable experience of savoring their meticulously prepared dishes. We ordered the popular lunch course, which included a variety of dishes such as appetizers with fish, nuts, and cilantro, a rich crab soup, shrimp dish with a unique Scottish sauce, sautéed scallops, and a closing dish of rice. Each dish showcased a high level of ingredients and cooking techniques, resulting in a luxurious Chinese dining experience. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Thank you for the meal!
