In Shitagawa-cho, Hokkaido, at Yuzuru-tei, we had a party with 7 people. After a successful day at work, we were in the mood to drink, so we opted for the all-you-can-drink option. We paid 3,000 yen, which was a great deal considering the wide variety of drinks available. I had about 2 beers, 3 highballs, and 2 whiskey on the rocks. The dishes were served in portions for 4 people, but everything was delicious and satisfying.

In Shitagawa-cho, Hokkaido, Yuudzuru-tei opens at 6:00 pm and was fully booked, so I ended up sitting at the counter. They have a lodging facility called Yockle, which is like a bungalow. It's quite clean and nice. If you're interested, you can search for "Shitagawa-cho Yockle" to find out more. It's about a 15-minute walk from Yockle. There is an izakaya and a ramen shop nearby. The kids went for ramen without hesitation. I tried the special tonkatsu for 980 yen, which they also made into a tonkatsu set for 1,280 yen. It came with rice, miso soup with green onions, takuan, potato salad, and salted cabbage next to the tonkatsu. It was quite delicious. I also had two highballs. Thanks for the meal!

Shimokawa-cho, Hokkaido. Along National Route 239. Open at 18:00. Five of us stayed in the town since Gomi Onsen was fully booked. We were tired of the dinner at Gomi Onsen, so this was just right. It's called You'slu Tei. We made a reservation by phone. They asked if 5 people would fit, but we were seated in a small raised tatami area that can fit 6 people. The stylish interior with jazz music playing was nice. Smoking is allowed, but the smoke didn't reach our area. There were more customers than expected. Everything was delicious. The popular dish, Torikara, usually made with chicken breast, was made with back meat that day. The number one dish, Motsu-nikomi, had a sweet flavor which I liked. For having a party here at night, Yockle, an accommodation facility, is within walking distance. Yockle is a cheap lodging where you can rent a building without meals for around 6,000 yen, and a futon for 1,000 yen per person. I ate to my heart's content and still had change left from 3,000 yen (I paid 3,000 yen even though it wasn't exact change). I had 3 highballs as well. There were still a few more attractive menu items left. I will come again if I have the chance! Thank you for the meal.
