When traveling, as well as in the local supermarket, buying ingredients is more useful than buying expensive sweets! Local supermarkets often showcase local specialties, right? At first, I went to "Cowboy" in Kitano, but they had cheap meat but lacked fresh fish, so I gave up... in Hokkaido, it's all about seafood!! So, I came to "San Choku Seisen Ichiba" this time. There are several stores in the city. I usually use the "Hiraoka store," but this time I shopped at the "Kitano store" due to the flow. The store is bright, has a wide variety of fresh fish, and is reasonably priced. "Hokkaido's fish gives a fresh impression." I really wanted to buy Jingisukan, but my family doesn't like it, so I couldn't buy it. The mackerel is huge!! I bought tarako, salmon, eel, and side dishes. With these, I won't have trouble with ingredients for a while. My freezer is full, thank you for the feast~♪ [Food Log] ☆- [Tanuki Rating (Lunch)] ★Overall... 35 points ★Atmosphere... 7 points ★Food... 7 points ★Menu... 7 points ★Cost performance... 7 points ★Likelihood to repeat... 7 points

On a certain weekday, I unexpectedly dropped by a supermarket in Kita-no 3-jo, Kiyota-ku for lunch. The parking lot was shared, so if it's empty, you can park freely. The store was a typical supermarket with fresh vegetables, fish, and meat. I headed to the deli section and picked up a "Sweet and Spicy Squid Bento (321 yen)" that caught my eye due to its low price. It was still slightly warm and had a good amount of food, especially the sweet and salty squid rings, body, and legs which went well with the rice. There was also a small portion of yakisoba, along with kinpira burdock, spinach ohitashi, and decent rice. The slightly sweet tamagoyaki as a bonus was a nice touch. I also got a "Mini Tempura Rice Bowl (237 yen)" which was small and cheap. It had sweet toppings like shiso, tempura squid, shrimp, sweet potato slices, and chopped seaweed on sticky rice. The overall oiliness was a bit high, but it would be satisfying for most people in terms of portion size. In the end, I enjoyed two bentos for less than 600 yen. I passed on the okonomiyaki and yakisoba set which was even cheaper and heavier. Thank you for the meal.
