It is located about 9 minutes from Asahikawa Station North Exit by car, and there is parking available, making it convenient to access by car. You can reach the store by going through Eiryu Bridge Street, turning left on 9th Street, turning right at the intersection of 9th Street and 8th Street, then turning left just before the river, where the store is on the right side. This time, I purchased the Class K Chocolat Grace. The cake was moist, with rich chocolate sandwiched inside. It was a satisfying dessert with a good amount of volume. Rotel Do Hokkuru Club believes that "the store belongs to the customers" and each item is carefully made with the hope that the customer's precious time will become even more wonderful. They offer a variety of sweets, from individual pieces to diverse assortments. There are special assortments for various occasions, making it suitable for a wide range of situations. They focus on using the rich ingredients nurtured by Hokkaido's climate and provide sweets that are "safe and secure" and gentle on the body. I would like to visit again when I have the opportunity. A confectionery shop in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido. The bright and spacious shop is known for its Cornet pastries. Cornet and Corone seem to have the same meaning of "horn". The prices are reasonable, starting from around 100 yen. Concerns arise about the rising cost of living in Japan. This time, in addition to the standard Cornet, we also tried the Sweet Potato Cornet.

Sometimes I pass by and have been intrigued by the stylish and elegant atmosphere. The Cornet seems to be the flagship product. The crispy and light pie with a balance of sweet cream is indeed delicious. It tastes just as I expected, and the reasonable price is a plus.

In November 2020, Taro turned 2 years old! He can walk now, goes for walks every day, is interested in working cars, and has started eating hamburgers, pancakes, and pizza. Taro is growing up well, thank you. To celebrate, I visited the main branch of "Rotel de Hokuraku Club" and bought a birthday cake. The exterior of the store exudes luxury, and the customer service is also on the upscale side. They offer a wide range of Western-style sweets such as cakes and baked goods, which would make great gifts. I purchased a Freshly Decorated Cake for 2916 yen (tax included). It's a classic birthday cake with fluffy cream and a lightly sweet taste. It was delicious.

Yesterday, I went to Asahikawa and bought this. It was my first visit here. The building is small compared to the main store. "Rotel de Hokkuru Club Main Store" The interior is not spacious, with only 4 staff members in the hall. The one-on-one pressed customer service is quite intense. I bought various things like my favorite "Chocolat Plier" and "Camembert Cheese Cake", but I didn't take any pictures so I apologize for that. I bought the "Rice Pie" for 486 yen. It comes in a pack of 3 pieces with two flavors, soy sauce and sugar. I chose the soy sauce flavor. It had a slight sweetness to it. The soy sauce and butter were fragrant and crispy, and delicious. The other cakes I bought were also delicious, of course.

On September 9, 2020, Asahikawa Jersey Pudding for ¥230 and Cornet for ¥110. The pudding has a strong milk flavor, and it tastes different with caramel. The cream in the cornet is delicious and I wish it had a bit more crunchiness. Located in a residential area relatively close to the city center, this shop has a stylish interior with a predominance of "white", giving it a sense of luxury. Despite that, there are popular items in this shop that are reasonably priced. I bought some items for gifts and also for myself. It's been a while since I last purchased them! I got two "Cornets" (110 yen each, excluding tax), the shop's recommended popular item. Even with tax, it only came to 118 yen. A great price nowadays! It was around 2 pm, but they were still available in the showcase. The crispy "pastry dough" rolled around a custard cream inside. The cream is slightly sweet with a rich flavor, but not too heavy, making it easy to enjoy the crispy texture. It seems like a popular gift choice, as they even have special boxes for them. I also bought cakes. I chose the "Royal Chocolat" (370 yen) and my companion chose the "Tarte aux Fruits" (450 yen). The Royal Chocolat has a somewhat bitter taste, which I personally enjoy in a chocolate cake. It is topped with fresh chocolate, lightly sweetened whipped cream, and orange peel. The chocolate sauce on top is also pleasantly bitter! The Tarte aux Fruits is loaded with strawberries, kiwis, oranges, blueberries, grapes, white peaches, and more fruits! The tart crust was slightly moist. Moreover, the staff at this shop is very kind and attentive. They see you off until you leave the shop after making a purchase. The parking lot is set up for diagonal parking, so they always ask if you need assistance when backing out. With an opening time of 7:30 am, which is rare for a confectionery shop, it is convenient for purchasing souvenirs. Overall, it's a shop where you can shop comfortably with their kind service.

There are many types of cakes with large sizes that are satisfying to eat. The one I had was topped with strawberry sauce, which was sweet and sour, and refreshing. It had strawberry mousse and sponge, and was a cute-looking cake.

For lunch, I had ramen and since I came all the way to Asahikawa, I decided to buy some sweets to take home. I visited this shop hoping to find the delicious apple pie I bought a few years ago at a shop called "Roba Kashiji," which I believe is affiliated with this one. Unfortunately, they didn't have the apple pie I was looking for, but they offered some samples and I ended up buying a few sweets. Cornet (110 yen each) - This seems to be the shop's signature item, as they had many of them displayed in the showcase. It's a type of pastry roll filled with custard cream. The custard cream had a nice balance of sweetness and richness, making it easy to eat. However, I know a shop that fills the cream after you order, and I couldn't help but notice that the pastry lacked a bit of crispiness in comparison. Adult Cornet (4 pieces for 777 yen) - It was Father's Day, and they had a limited edition item recommended by the staff. One was coated with chocolate and sprinkled with gold powder, filled with rum raisin custard cream that had a strong rum flavor. It was delicious! The other one had chocolate cream with nuts, and it was definitely a treat for adults. Rich and sweet, it paired well with black coffee or red wine. The crispiness was not an issue probably due to the chocolate coating. I also bought some baked sweets, and the Concher Pie with walnuts was delicious, while the dorayaki had a moist and tasty skin. The service was polite, and I appreciated the cold green tea they served. Next time I visit Asahikawa, I would love to buy the Adult Cornet again, but I wonder if it's still available since it was a limited edition. I hope they make it a regular item (laughs). I visited the main store of Hokkuraku Club in Asahikawa City, which has several other shops in the city as well. I bought a Cornet for 110 yen. I arrived around 2-3 pm, and many cakes were already sold out, including the Cornet which seemed to be running low. Customers of various ages were buying them. I also bought one to enjoy at home. The Cornet looked similar to a croissant, with a crispy pastry on the outside. However, since I waited to eat it, the texture was a bit soft and I couldn't fully enjoy the crispy texture. The inside had smooth custard cream with just the right amount of sweetness, along with sugar on top. It's a simple but delicious dessert that would appeal to many people. I also saw a pound cake that looked delicious, so I'll try that next time. Thank you for the meal!

I first visited this store over 10 years ago when my family visited Asahiyama Zoo. During our 4-night, 5-day trip, we bought annual passports and visited Asahiyama Zoo for three consecutive days. On the first day, after dinner, we passed by this store to buy dessert, and we decided to check it out. Inside the store, there was a wide variety of products ranging from traditional Japanese sweets to fresh cakes. Each of us chose our favorite item to purchase. The children loved it so much that we ended up buying dessert from this store for three consecutive days and enjoyed it back at our accommodation. Besides the products, what impressed me the most was the hospitality of this store. On the first day, when we entered the store, they served us cold tea because it was a very hot day. Almost all products were available for tasting. When we paid for our purchases, they served us warm tea. Despite being busy, the customer service was incredibly polite. By the next day, the children were already familiar faces, receiving candies from the staff. On the third day, when we mentioned that we were returning to Tokyo the next day, the store staff gave us cookies as a souvenir. By the way, this store opens early in the morning. Since then, I have often visited this store during my business trips, as it is located about a 10-minute walk from my regular hotel (Art Hotel), and I always buy the "Cornet," which is my favorite among all the cakes I've tried. It is an original cake with a crispy pie crust filled with custard cream. Today was very cold, so I was very grateful for the warm tea served when I visited. According to locals, this store is part of a group that operates several stores in the Asahikawa area (each with a different name), and it seems to be a highly regarded store. However, the "Cornet" is a popular item that can only be purchased at this store. I believe I have found a great store.

When I buy souvenirs in Asahikawa, I always decide to go here. They are open from early in the morning, so it's very convenient. There are also plenty of samples to try! They have a variety of snacks from their affiliated company as well. You can buy the classic Asahikawa souvenir, "Kuranama," here, but you can also find it in convenience stores in Sapporo. So, I usually skip it. - Cornet (115 yen) - Summer limited edition: Orange Cornet (130 yen) - similar to Rokkatei's crispy pie. I love this and always buy it when I come here. The summer limited edition Orange Cornet has a refreshing orange cream inside. It's delicious, but I still prefer the regular one. - Black Honey Dorayaki (125 yen) - I really love this dorayaki!! It has a moist black honey flavored dough with sweet red bean paste inside. It's still delicious as always. This time, I bought some souvenirs, but when I got home, I realized that the expiration date was short. Delicious things have a short shelf life. - Biscuit Galette (120 yen) - A cookie with a good texture. I bought it for the first time, and it's simply delicious! It has a slightly elegant taste. This summer, the store seems to be promoting orange-flavored snacks. They had a summer limited edition of "Taisetsu," a Sendai famous confection similar to "Hagi no Tsuki," in orange flavor. I tried it as a sample, but I still prefer the regular Taisetsu. Personally, I think a combination of bitter chocolate and orange peel would be more delicious. It was my first time trying the seasonal limited edition Taisetsu, so I'll check out the limited edition Taisetsu next time as well!

I also come here often. But, I always buy something to give to someone, so I have never featured it on my blog before. This time, I went to "Rotel de Kitakurabu Honten" to eat for myself. It is a well-established brand in the city. It's been a while since I last visited, but the service was just as good as always (^_^) The effort that Robakashitsukasa has put into maintaining the brand image of Kitakurabu for 25 years is truly commendable. It's a great example of successful branding. As soon as you enter, there's a special corner with delicious treats. Both Japanese and Western-style sweets are available here at Kitakurabu. It's hard to choose. While selecting the items and having them packed, they serve tea, which is a standard practice here. I relaxed on the sofa while waiting. Among the choices, I decided to try the "Kanzen Juku Ringo no Pie" and "Taisetsu Oranje." Many people love the fluffy Taisetsu here. The limited edition Oranje has orange jam inside the custard cream (^_^) Even with the regular Taisetsu, you can't stop at just one piece, but the combination of custard cream and sweeter orange jam makes it even more irresistible. I regret only buying one piece. The "Kanzen Juku Ringo no Pie" also has a moist texture, with chunks of apple that crunch occasionally (^_^) Kitakurabu really knows how to hit the spot with their delicious treats. No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong. It's a reliable and consistent place.

I'm so disappointed...(-_-;) This is the shop of Roba Kashishi, a confectionery shop in Asahikawa. They have become famous recently, especially at "The Sun Kurouto" shop. I have been a regular customer at "Rotel de Hokkuru Club" since it opened. As I mentioned before, it has been about 25 years. I always used to buy "Taisetsu," which I loved. Well, "loved" is the right word. This time, I bought it and was extremely disappointed! It was so bad, so bad...(-_-;) The cream was the problem! Can you tell from the photo? The color of the cream is different from before, and the texture is weak and runny. The sponge was also cut sideways, with the cream oozing out from the sides. I also bought the chestnut version, which was slightly better. Oh, so disappointing!! I will never buy it again! By the way, they no longer sell the gold sablé. Instead, they had "Kurasou" from SUN Kurouto. It's different, isn't it? (-_-;) I have also posted this on my blog.
