I went for lunch before the state of emergency was declared. I ordered a curry called Spice Curry, but it seemed more like Chinese herbal medicine curry. The taste is good for the body, with a hint of bitterness from traditional medicine. Once you get used to it, you can feel the numbing sensation of sansho pepper and other punches, making it delicious. It comes with beans in the stew and salad, making it a healthy dish.

It was a long weekend so we decided to dine out. We called ahead to make a reservation and then headed over. We ordered a half portion of smoked cheese platter, meat pizza, city bar's mushroom ajillo, and hamburger. The ajillo comes with two slices of bread. It was piping hot! I took a bite and burned the roof of my mouth. We added 300 yen to turn it into pasta. It also came out piping hot and stretched as we ate. The pizza was small but the flavor was really good. The food and wine were delicious, but the service from the staff... Drinks took forever to come. They shouldn't be chatting with customers at the counter. The person at the next table was ignored for 30 minutes. Whether they are part-time or new, it doesn't matter to the customer. I hope they improve their service.

I was finally able to visit this place that I had been curious about for a while. The sign is displayed outside, but the restaurant itself is a bit hidden. I ordered the Caesar salad, shrimp ajillo, and grilled beef tongue. I was also interested in the smoked dish, but they were out of it today. The Caesar salad was delicious, with the bacon doing a great job. The cheese was rich and paired well with my drink. My husband, who usually doesn't care for salads, was actually enjoying it. The shrimp ajillo looked fresh with mini tomatoes, but I underestimated how hot it was and burned my mouth. It was a bit lacking in salt, so I added some. After finishing everything, I added 300 yen to turn it into spaghetti. I was very satisfied. It would be nice if they had regular pizza on the menu as well.

They said they were going to have a party in Abashiri and "flake off at the first party," but in the end, they said, "There's a second party set up, so wait until 10 p.m." I felt like a dog. So I thought, should I drink with my wife while waiting? But my wife said, "I have a stomachache, so I'm not going!" So I ended up drinking alone until 10 p.m. What should I do... I thought. Then I went to drink alone in Memanbetsu. Even when I came back from Memanbetsu, there was still time left, so I wandered around the town wondering where to wait. My wife's stomach was also in bad shape, and I found a new restaurant. It's an Osteria. It's very effective to display the menu outside, I think. Because it's a place that's hard to enter even without that, and it used to be a high-class snack bar. If they don't mind only that kind of clientele, it's a different story, but if not, it's very clear and good, I think. The menu is not expensive... that's important. I decided on this place. Unexpectedly, I got a call saying, "I'm done," so I went to pick them up and entered the new restaurant. We were seated at the farthest table and toasted with beer. Aniki didn't seem like someone I had just met, he was a fun person. The side dish was Namul? The side dish was good, wasn't it? Is it an Osteria? Maybe it's not Namul. I left it for a while, but if it's not Namul, I'm sorry. This is delicious. This made me want to try something to eat. I thought, what should I eat, and I feel like having Aioli. I chose "Shrimp Aioli," and Aniki, who was unexpectedly tall and surprisingly slim, chose "Beef Tongue Aioli." They said they would make pasta with the remaining Aioli. The idea is very good. But I can't eat it all... I said, "Pasta is good for two people," but Aniki said, "No, one person is enough." Really? You ate until the second party, right? I remember my friends asking, "Where's the ramen shop?" They had that kind of body, but the ingredients for Aioli were a little disappointing. Maybe the shrimp and tongue were overcooked? I won't write any more. It's a new restaurant, so I want them to do well. I only had Aioli, so I'll do my best. That side dish shows potential. After the customers left, I talked too much. The fact that they listened to me sincerely is nice. Whether to adopt or not is up to them. But the attitude of listening is nice, isn't it? I'm sorry I talked too much. The pasta was delicious. The wine was not expensive but delicious. I only went to one place with Aniki, but I had a fun time drinking. Let's drink again. On August 25, during my first visit to a new place, we went to a regular snack bar for all-you-can-drink. As expected, there was no intention of eating, just drinking. However, surprisingly, the closing time came earlier than expected. After that, I met up with a friend in Abashiri and we went to a new restaurant together. It was called Osteria Bar Uroko, and it seemed like a fancy place. We started with beer, which was delicious, and ordered a stir-fried bean sprouts dish. We also tried an Ahihijo dish, where I had beef tongue and my friend had shrimp. They turned the Ahihijo into pasta for us, and the shrimp was definitely the better choice. The beef tongue had a bit of a strong smell. Overall, it was a fun night meeting new people through the power of food reviews. My friend and I had a great time and we look forward to meeting again for more drinks in the future. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Well, I'll go along with it because I hate being turned down when inviting someone. It's 2,500 yen for 3 bars in Abashiri Bar, and 3,500 yen for 5 bars. The second bar in Abashiri Bar is "Osteria Bar Uroko." It's a revisit for me. The first time I came was with that influential person from Kurayama. Yome has never been here, so she wanted to come. There was only one customer at the counter and two others on the floor. The female server seems different from before, even though she's young. The content of Abashiri Bar is "your favorite drink" and "shrimp and mushroom ajillo." The female server talks a lot with the other customers, but not with us unless necessary. This place used to be a high-class snack bar and is now an osteria run by the same family. But, does this atmosphere feel like a snack bar again? I didn't come here to feel like I'm at a snack bar, so the atmosphere is not very comfortable. We ordered "beer" and "red wine" as our favorite drinks. The "ajillo" is not really ajillo in my opinion, it's more like an oil stew. The shrimp is not bad, but the chili pepper and garlic are not noticeable, making it just an oil stew. It's not too salty, which is good, but it lacks the punch of ajillo. The owner came out a couple of times and is a very nice person. I want them to do well, but my support may be too lenient in my review. Yome's impression is that it looks high-class, but inside, it feels more like a casual and bright restaurant cafe. The food in Abashiri Bar is "shrimp and mushroom ajillo" and "your favorite drink." I chose wine because of the ajillo, but maybe beer would have been better. The ajillo comes with two pieces of baguette for a satisfying meal. The ajillo is lightly seasoned with mild garlic and chili pepper, and the shrimp is plump, but something feels missing. It doesn't feel like an osteria bar. It's tougher than I expected."
