After about 7 years since my last visit, I decided to try this place again for the 5th time. I used to love their ramen, tsukemen, and abura soba so much that I even gave it a perfect 5.0 rating in the past. This time, I ordered the tsukemen in large size for 1,100 yen (tax included). It took about 10 minutes for the dish to arrive, which was longer than I expected. When I saw the thick noodles in front of me, I understood why it took a while - they were almost like udon noodles! The noodles were chewy and had a firm texture, perfect for dipping in the rich tonkotsu broth. However, my only complaint was that the large portion was a bit too much, and the noodles cooled down quickly, making the broth cold. Despite this, I tried using the various condiments provided on the table to enhance the flavor. I ended the meal with a soup-wari to warm up my stomach. Overall, it was delicious and satisfying. Thank you for the meal!

The noodles are so thick that they can be mistaken for udon. They have a great texture and are very satisfying to eat. The toppings include tender chashu, crunchy cabbage and bean sprouts, and bamboo shoots. The chashu, in particular, melts in your mouth when mixed in. For flavor variations, a raw egg yolk, lemon, and spicy miso are provided on the side, keeping the dish interesting until the end. You can choose between a rich or light soup for the final soup refill.

I used to frequent this place more than 10 years ago, but when I went back recently, I wasn't impressed. Did they change the noodles? Maybe they're not putting much effort into their ramen anymore? Honestly, I don't feel the need to go out of my way to eat here anymore. Maybe my taste buds have changed, or perhaps other tsukemen or abura soba places are actually better. It's a complicated feeling about a bowl of ramen that used to leave a strong impression on me when I first tried it.

I was surprised to see the condiments first. I was hungry so I ordered a large portion, but by adding condiments as I went along, I didn't get tired of it and enjoyed it to the end! As expected of a popular restaurant in Sakai with long lines. In the summer, heatstroke measures are essential.

It is a well-known famous restaurant in Sakai. I revisited because my impression from a few years ago had faded. I ordered the tsukemen. Yes, I remember this taste. The soup is relatively sweet, nothing particularly outstanding, and like a few years ago, the taste didn't leave a strong impression.

I wanted to go to a certain restaurant for lunch, but I found out they had already closed for the day. So, I decided to try this place that I had been curious about for a while. I was torn between getting tsukemen or the famous oil soba here, but I ended up choosing the oil soba in large size! When it arrived, I was a bit surprised at how big the portion was. But with all the condiments available, I managed to finish it all easily. The noodles were thick and chewy, almost like udon, and very satisfying to eat. The cabbage and bean sprouts were crunchy and delicious. But the best part was definitely the chashu! It was so tender and flavorful, with the fatty part melting in your mouth. It was so delicious! I will definitely come back again. I want to try the oil soba next time. Thank you for the meal!

This is a shop I often visit! The oil noodles here are really the best... The moment the thick noodles touch my lips is just too blissful. It's fun to change up the flavors too! I've gotten to the point where I understand how to eat it without looking at the guide the shop provides. I realized last time that the light soup base is delicious, so from now on, that's my go-to choice. I feel like I've gained something until the end, and it makes me happy.

The special ramen, tsukemen, and abura soba are all unique and deeply flavorful. Each one is truly delicious, but the abura soba is the best!! You can enjoy different flavors by adding egg, fish powder, chili oil, and lemon, and the way you can finish the dish with soup or rice is excellent! The combination of noodles and soup is also amazing!

Order: Special Tsukemen (regular size) A famous restaurant near Sakaihigashi Station known for their maze-soba. This time, I tried their tsukemen. The staff seemed busy but provided polite service, leaving a good impression. The interior of the restaurant had a strong garlic smell, indicating that many people ordered the maze-soba. When the tsukemen arrived, I was surprised by the amount of noodles, even though I ordered a regular size. However, I later noticed that there was a sieve under the noodles, making it appear like there were more noodles than there actually were. Nonetheless, the chewy thick noodles were filling enough. This shop serves the ingredients already placed in the dipping broth. The chunks of meat were plentiful and delicious, but they tended to get in the way when dipping the noodles, so it would be more convenient if they were served separately. The garlic sprouts and lemon added a nice touch to the flavor. Dipping the noodles into the soup resulted in a tasty combination, although I felt that the noodles didn't absorb the flavor well, making it taste a bit bland. Even after dipping the noodles multiple times, the flavor still seemed lacking. The taste was good overall, but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of flavor intensity. I would like to try their famous maze-soba next time I visit.

Sakaieki Station, Menza Gin Special Oil Soba ¥1150 with extra noodles +¥100. Rich, thick soy sauce broth with a strong oil flavor and garlic. The noodles are smooth and have a nice texture, with a clean wheat aroma. The chashu pork is tender and melts in your mouth, with a well-seasoned taste that doesn't overpower the flavor. The menma bamboo shoots and vegetables add a crunchy texture. You can customize the dish with spicy miso for a flavor change, as well as toppings like fish powder, vinegar, and a versatile sauce. The egg yolk adds a creamy touch to the overall oily broth. Overall, it's a well-balanced and flavorful oil soba dish that won't disappoint. It seems like the most popular item is the tsukemen, so I'll have to try that next time. I still haven't tried their ramen, so I'll definitely be back. I think this is the best ramen shop in town! #ramen #tsukemen #hiyashi chuka #noodles #tonkotsu ramen #pork bone ramen #fish and pork bone #dried fish ramen #soy sauce ramen #miso ramen #salt ramen #chicken broth ramen #chicken broth #chashu #oil soba #Taiwanese mixed noodles #tantanmen #noodles tagram #ramen lovers #ramen club #ramen lovers #ramen instagrammer #menstagrammer #noodlestagram #connect with ramen lovers

I always rely on this tsukemen restaurant for a good meal. My personal favorite is their "abura soba"! I've tried other dishes, but I always come back to this one. They have a recommended way to eat it, so I follow their instructions as I enjoy my meal. Lately, I've gotten used to it and hardly take any photos anymore, but I still believe that their abura soba is the best in Osaka! I recently discovered that the "assari" style for the final soup addition is delicious. I will keep coming back here.

Today's ramen!!! Abura soba, large size, 1150 yen. The abura soba here is the best! This time, I asked for it with whole egg. Personally, I think it's better with whole egg than just the yolk. When you've eaten about half of the noodles, you can add soup to make it more like regular ramen. You can choose between rich and light flavors. This time, I chose light! There are also various ways to change the taste, so you can finish it without getting bored.

I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before it opened at 10:50, but there were already 4 people waiting. By the time it opened, there were 6 people waiting. This place is known for its tsukemen and abura soba, but I chose the ramen with seasoned egg. The noodles were thick and straight, and the soup was thick with a strong seafood flavor. Unfortunately, the soup was lukewarm. It seems like most people come here for the abura soba. One thing to note is that the drain water from the air conditioner's outdoor unit was flowing into the handwashing area at the back of the restaurant. I always wash my hands with soap before eating, so this bothered me. When I finished my meal and left, there were about 7 people waiting in line.

The taste was unexpected! I went to a special dipping noodle shop in Sakai. I had checked this place out before but had never been. When I arrived around 1:30 pm on Saturday, there were about three groups waiting outside. Since it was my first visit, I decided to start with the dipping noodles.
- The dipping sauce had a surprising taste with a combination of sweetness, spiciness, and a hint of sourness.
- What's more, there were slices of lemon in the dipping sauce, about a quarter of the amount! Was this the source of the sourness?
- The addition of wood ear mushrooms as toppings is rare for dipping noodles, but maybe this kind of taste is worth trying once in a while.

I visited the restaurant for the second time because there is always a long line, so I wanted to confirm if the food was really that delicious. Just like the last time, I thought the food was surprisingly lacking in flavor. The staff's overly flashy way of speaking was off-putting, and they seemed distant with the customers. Except for one person, the service was polite. As for the taste, the soup had a strong garlic flavor, but it was only then that the taste came through. It might be better to use more condiments like before, especially since they have seafood options. The rice dive at the end was quite good, but not everyone can eat that much.

There was a place nearby that I had to visit just before noon. There were various shops around, but I chose this one. There was only one group ahead of me who had already purchased their meal tickets, so I waited for about 5 minutes before being called. The counter was the only seating available, with hooks on the wall to hang your clothes and stylish tissue boxes hanging. I ordered the special ramen and special tsukemen, with a variety of toppings to enjoy. The noodles in the tsukemen were as thick as udon noodles, which was a bit tiring to eat but delicious. The sliced wood ear mushrooms were cut into large pieces, providing a crunchy texture that was enjoyable. The person next to me was eating mixed noodles with a strong garlic smell, but it still looked delicious. I would like to try the mixed noodles next time.

Today's rating is 3.68. I tried the special oil ramen. When I mixed the noodles, it didn't have much flavor. Maybe I didn't mix it well enough? For those who feel the same, there are various seasonings available. However, the thick noodles had a not-so-great texture, and when I chewed them, they were a bit soggy. The meat tasted like canned chicken. I managed to finish it by adding soup at the end to make it richer. Maybe this place is good for tsukemen (dipping noodles).

After finishing work, I happened to stop by Sakai Higashi and found an open seat, so I ordered the Abura Soba with normal toppings and half rice. The thick noodles, pork fat, and garlic were consistent and when I added the fish powder halfway through, it was amazing. It was delicious, but the price is over 1000 yen, so if there's no usual long line, I would definitely visit more often.

Delicious tsukemen. The portion of noodles is generous, so I found the regular size to be sufficient. The sweet tsukedare brought back memories from 10 years ago. The wood ear mushrooms were a nice accent and a perfect topping. They will warm up the soup for you when you order soup wari, so you can enjoy it warm. I arrived right at opening and by the time I left, there was already a line forming. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I came to the restaurant with my partner for lunch. I had been curious about it for a while. Even though it was close to closing time, there were still two groups waiting. It's definitely a popular place. We ordered the abura soba and tsukemen. Both were delicious without any complaints. Before we knew it, we had finished eating. However, it was a bit oily and might be tough for someone in their 40s to digest. No regrets, but it might be better to have the next day off. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.

I had the special oil soba in a large portion. I don't usually eat oil soba, so I decided to order it this time. The staff asked me, "Would you like garlic in it?" in a Jiro-style manner, but I wasn't paying attention and ended up saying, "Yes, please." When the oil soba arrived, it was like a Jiro-style dish with plenty of garlic on top, and the taste was similar to Jiro-style. Unlike Jiro-style shops, there were several flavor toppings available such as lemon and raw egg, which was very helpful. Next time, I would like to try the famous tsukemen.
