This is a shop that opened in a bustling area about 2 years ago. It's the first spice curry shop in Kitami that caught my attention when I heard they started serving lunch. "Herb Spice" is the name of the shop. The shop is located on the second floor up the stairs. It was 1:00 PM. There were four customers seated at the L-shaped counter with tables in the back. The female shop owner was running the place by herself. She seemed very nice. The "Spice Curry" costs 680 yen (excluding tax) and comes with vegetables on a plate. As soon as it was brought to me, it had a spicy and delicious aroma. First, I sprinkled lemon on the rice as instructed. The lemon did a fantastic job of enhancing the flavorful curry taste. Following the instructions, I dipped the red condiment (on top of the salad) into the rice, and it added an amazing aroma. I also sprinkled crushed cumin (you can choose from various spices) on the rice, which intensified the fragrance. Furthermore, I customized the dish by adding fried onions and kasurimeti to the rice, allowing me to enjoy various flavor changes. I had never eaten such a fragrant curry before. And the fact that they achieved this quality without using curry roux is impressive. The shop owner provided excellent customer service. I thought she must have trained somewhere, but she actually self-taught herself about herbs and spices before starting this place. There were also explanations about the effects and benefits of each spice, as spices are considered traditional Chinese medicine. It was really delicious. I have become a fan of the shop owner and this spice curry place.

I didn't play the role of keeping my partner calm when she decided to go out. I thought about how to motivate Yome-san to visit at least 5 places. We managed to make it to the third place, but getting to the fifth seemed impossible. We barely made it to the fourth place, "Herb Spice", which used to be "Flower, Bird, Wind, Moon" in Tanukikoji on the second floor. The menu board outside seemed like a place Yome-san would like. I had beer and Yome-san had wine, which she surprisingly found delicious. We ordered "Chicken Nanban" and despite my hesitation, Yome-san insisted on making the decision. The chicken was tender and tasty, and the tartar sauce was cheap but good. There were two women in the restaurant, and I jokingly thought they were mother and daughter, which made them laugh. Yome-san ordered curry, which was spicy and had a lemon on top of the rice, stimulating my taste buds. The curry was delicious, and I thought the restaurant was impressive. The next day, when I asked Yome-san about the curry, she said it was very spicy and flavorful, but I had eaten most of it. She was upset, so I realized that's why she gained weight. She even took the curry as a takeaway. We ended up having curry the next day as well, and I noticed that the restaurant really focuses on spices, creating a complex and unique flavor. The balance of flavors depends on the individual's taste, and while I found it delicious, I also had some doubts about the balance. The curry had a variety of textures and flavors (spices?), making it a complex and tasty dish.

Warm vegetable spice curry. I wanted to change the flavor by adding table spices, so I asked for extra rice. Cream croquette. It was piping hot. Chicken and wolfberry seed energy soup. It tasted invigorating. Ratatouille. It was delicious (๑´ڡ`๑) A gentle spice curry made without oil, even people with heartburn can enjoy (^o^) The aroma of spices is nice. It feels good for the body. I preferred the warm vegetable spice curry over the chicken spice curry. Today, the service was pleasant as always. It was a good restaurant.

A new restaurant that serves spice curry has opened next to Hanachou Fugetsu. I called to confirm their business hours and it seems they are open until around 12:30 AM. Even though I ate too much at Dixie and Harukiya, I couldn't resist the temptation of trying the spice curry, so I decided to go. The menu offers a variety of dishes besides curry, such as pasta and Italian-style dishes. I was curious about other menu items, but I settled on the chicken spice curry with a spicy kick. The curry and salad come together on one plate. Surprisingly, the portion of rice is quite generous. I took a bite of the curry first. Wow, the aroma of coriander and cumin hits my nose. It's not very spicy, but it's incredibly flavorful with all the spices. This is a must-try for spice lovers. Since spices are like traditional Chinese medicine, they are perfect for when your stomach is feeling weak from overeating or drinking. I hope the culture of finishing a meal with curry becomes popular in Kitami. Next time, I want to try various dishes at different restaurants. Also, they offer takeout service as well.

I went to a course with my friends that cost 4000 yen including tax and all-you-can-drink! We had a lot of delicious dishes like medicinal hot pot, finishing ramen, and other dishes, as well as desserts. We were full and satisfied, everything was delicious and we were happy! This time, I ordered the Chicken Spice Curry, extra spicy. I had it for lunch the next day. It's the only high-quality curry in Kitami. The aroma of the spices fills your nose, and it's irresistible for spice lovers. Even though it was takeout, they had thoughtful touches like table sheets, disinfectant alcohol, extra spices, etc. which left a good impression. If I have the chance, I would like to visit the restaurant again at night.
