Thank you for always reading. If you like it, I would be happy if you could bookmark the store by clicking the "Save Store" button. Before starting my blog, I visited Mori Shouten, a place I used to go to. It's been a while since I visited Mori Shouten. The address is 4-3-9 Nishitemma, Kita-ku, Osaka City, and the nearest station is Minamimorimachi Station, a 10-minute walk away. The curry and pickles at Mori Shouten are a mix of Indian and Japanese flavors that make you want to eat them every day. It's a restaurant selected in the top 5,000 on Tabelog. I arrived at the store at 11:30. Closed on Sundays. Business hours are [Mon-Fri] 11:30-14:30, around 18:00-19:30, [Sat/holidays] 11:30-14:30. I disinfected my hands with alcohol at the entrance and got permission to take photos before sitting at the counter seat. The menu includes Chicken Curry, Butter Chicken Curry, Minced Meat and Lotus Root Curry, and Vegetable and Bean Curry. There is also a limited-time Spinach and Mushroom Beef Keema. The spiciness level is indicated by ★ marks, and you can choose additional spiciness levels for free: Mild, Hot, Very Hot, and Very Very Hot. On weekdays from 6 pm, and on Saturdays and holidays, you can have a combination of two curries. I ordered the Butter Chicken and Chicken Curry with extra spiciness. The total cost was 1,050 yen, including the combination and extra portion. The waiting time for the curry is also enjoyable! I watched the owner quietly make the curry over the counter. After a while, the curry was served! It smelled so good! First, I tried the Butter Chicken Curry. It was a creamy and mild chicken curry with yogurt and nuts. The aroma of butter and the richness of chicken were amazing! The curry contained large pieces of Tandoori chicken, providing a satisfying texture. The Chicken Curry had plenty of chicken simmered in a light roux. The roux, made without flour in the Indian style, had a complex and exquisite spice blend that was delicious. The curry, which combines Indian and Japanese elements, has a harmonious blend of spices that cater to the Japanese palate. The bean sprout and bean pickle had a Japanese taste, with pickled carrots, cauliflower, and cabbage, providing a nice balance and reset. The rice, made from Japanese rice, truly combines the best of Indian and Japanese cuisine. I enjoyed a delicious and satisfying meal to the last bite! After paying and thanking the owner of Mori Shouten, I left the store. Thank you for the meal! It was delicious! I will definitely come back! Thank you for reading until the end. I hope this information will be helpful for your gourmet adventures.
