Maruyama Class is a confectionery shop located on the 1st floor of the Enzan Koen Station on the Tozai Line. I was wondering if there was an eat-in space, and it turns out there are only 3 seats next to the sales area. I tried the popular fresh strawberry mochi dorayaki, "Sweet and Sour Strawberry Mochi Dorayaki" (460 yen), and the "Warabi Mochi Latte with Strawberry Milk" (520 yen). The strawberry mochi dorayaki is a limited edition dorayaki with a fluffy texture, plenty of whipped cream, strawberry-flavored mochi, and sweet bean paste. The combination of the soft dorayaki, whipped cream, mochi, and strawberries is delicious. There are various types of fresh dorayaki to choose from, so you can pick your favorite. The warabi mochi latte with strawberry milk is a drink with warabi mochi, which has been gaining popularity lately. The texture of the warabi mochi through the thick straw is enjoyable, and the flavor of the latte made with Hokkaido milk is also great. This fresh dorayaki shop has been featured in the media quite a bit, and it's definitely popular!

On a certain holiday, I stopped by while on my way home after having lunch at a restaurant in Maruyama Class. There used to be various sweets shops before, but now it seems to be a shop mainly focused on dorayaki. The shop is located in the middle of the first floor where various sweet treats are displayed in the showcase and on the shelves. On this day, I chose a few items from the menu, including dorayaki, Marricottzo, Maruyama melon bread, and some unusual manju. I decided to try the "Plain Marricottzo (380 yen)". It was a trend last year, but I wondered how it was this year. After taking a bite, I found that it had a generous amount of cream sandwiched between the average bread dough, which I imagine is due to the need for a higher level of oil and sweetness to maintain its quality over time. I also tried the "Raisin Butter Dorayaki (350 yen)". Among the various options, I chose this one as it seemed to be their main dorayaki. The slightly fragrant and uniquely sweet dough caught my attention, and I discovered a slightly melted butter with a sweet and salty taste, along with the pleasant surprise of rum-flavored raisins scattered throughout. I hope this shop continues to thrive. Thank you for the delicious treats.

I didn't know the shop, but I have seen the products before! It seems like the shop has changed its name. I tried the sweet potato rusk and white chocolate macaron. The white chocolate macaron was a bit confusing for me. I wasn't sure if it needed to be refrigerated or not. I left it out at room temperature until I ate it. The sweet potato rusk was sweet and delicious. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I was feeling lazy to make lunch, so I came to Maruyama Class to buy some food. I also decided to buy dessert while I was there. It was my first time visiting since Docheado took over, and I wasn't really interested in the red bean paste, but I saw the Maritocco and decided to give it a try. They had a wide variety of options, including bread from Enzan Melon. I took it home and had it after lunch. Hmm, the bread was a bit dry and the cream was a bit crumbly. They didn't really go well together. It was quite pricey, but it tasted similar to the Maritocco you can find at the supermarket. I think this bread would be better with a smoother cream, or this cream would be better with a softer bread. Maritocco is tricky. Thank you for the meal.

This shop is located where the cheesecake specialty store on the first floor of Maruyama Class used to be. They are famous for their thin-skinned sweet potato red bean buns, and this time I bought a chocolate red bean bun. I don't eat red bean paste much, so I chose the chocolate red bean bun, which seemed easier to eat than the red bean bun. As the name suggests, the skin is quite thin and packed with red bean paste inside! The skin is crispy and delicious. The red bean paste has a sweet potato flavor, so it's not too strong in red bean paste taste and easy to eat. The chocolate red bean bun has a lot of chopped chocolate chips kneaded in. I might have been able to eat a red bean bun without chocolate. If you want to taste the sweet potato flavor, the orthodox red bean bun is recommended. They also have cheese red bean buns. The Maritozzo from Tamatebako is palm-sized. It's filled with plenty of whipped cream and strawberry jam in the middle, and it's delicious. In addition to strawberries, there are also hojicha, chocolate, and plain flavors. In addition, they have sweet potato bread, chocolate cakes, and cream puffs, and I was also interested in other items! The plastic bag at the register costs extra, but they will give you free ice packs and boxes.

My mother bought it for me! She said it's from a new cake shop in Maruyama, which I've never heard of before! All my mother said was that it's a chocolate cake, so I didn't know there was red bean paste inside and was a bit surprised when I ate it (laughs). But it was delicious! I haven't had many chances to try the combination of Japanese ingredients and chocolate, but it was really good! It was a combination I wouldn't normally choose for myself, so I'm glad I got it as a souvenir! The sweetness was just right, not too heavy, which was great! Both the cream puff and chocolate cake had red bean paste inside!

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is no medicine that suits my rare disease. I was hospitalized for treatment related to the rare disease in September last year, and also in January, April to May, and again in September, October, and November this year. I was discharged for the fifth time three weeks ago. Although I have been discharged, I visit the hospital almost every day, so the feeling of being discharged is faint. (laughs) Your supportive comments were a source of energy for me during my hospital stay. I am truly grateful. Thank you for your continued support. [December 2021] I plan to mainly upload past reviews that have not been reviewed for a while. I will be cautious about new visits, as I will consult my condition. I visited this shop in May this year. Last July, "Yoru no Tsuru, Tsuki no Imo," a specialty store for thin-skinned sweet potato anpan, opened. In the midst of the pandemic, "Daisu Kushiyokocho Tecchan Minami 1-jo Store" started selling sweets following bento boxes. The product they sell is the "Original Thin-Skinned Sweet Potato Anpan," which became a big hit. In April this year, they opened a new store called "Yoru no Tsuru, Tsuki no Imo. Tamatebako no, Anshokora." It is a shop with two main focuses: "Yoru no Tsuru, Tsuki no Imo," a specialty store for thin-skinned sweet potato anpan, and "Tamatebako no, Anshokora," a specialty store for chocolate terrine. "Tamatebako no, Anshokora" is supervised by the popular "Patisserie Jones" in Sapporo. I visited for the first time with my usual companion after being discharged in May this year. This shop is located on the first floor of the stylish commercial facility "Maruyama Class" in the Maruyama area of Sapporo. Please check the exact location of the shop on Tabelog. I visited around 5 p.m. on a weekday. Many items were sold out, and there were only a few products left. Since it was my first time trying the products of "Tamatebako no, Anshokora," I decided to buy them. I bought two items from the limited selection: - Tamatebako no Maritottso Chocola Weight: 85g (actual weight after deducting the packaging) A base of Maritottso with plenty of rich chocolate terrine, and chocolate chips on the side. Price: 550 yen (tax included) - Tamatebako no Choux Cream Weight: 105g (actual weight after deducting the packaging) A base of choux pastry with plenty of rich chocolate terrine and chocolate, topped with powdered sugar. Price: 380 yen (tax included) "Tamatebako no, Anshokora" is supervised by the popular "Patisserie Jones" in Sapporo. It certainly has a high quality. It is a dessert suitable for spending a good time rather than everyday use. It goes well with a good cup of black coffee. Restaurants are facing a tough situation due to the pandemic. I hope they can overcome it with ingenuity. Next time, I might go for the "Yoru no Tsuru, Tsuki no Imo's thin-skinned sweet potato anpan," which my usual companion loves. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Recently, I have been seeing a lot of magazines featuring a sweet called "Maritozzo". Although I don't usually enjoy sweet treats, I became interested in this one. Maritozzo is a traditional French pastry filled with plenty of cream. It looks very adorable. When I tried it, I found that the pastry had a hint of saltiness and the abundant cream was not overly sweet. This was delicious!

I heard that Yoru no Tsuru, Tsuki no Imo has relocated and opened in Maruyama Class, so I decided to stop by. The new store is a collaboration between a specialty shop for rich and new-textured Japanese chocolate terrine using Hokkaido wheat Yumemaru and a specialty shop for sweet potato red bean paste bread with a thin skin made from bread dough. The appearance of the Anko Chocolat (Dark) (580 yen) is perfect! It consists of three layers of Tokachi red beans and high-cacao chocolate terrine, but personally, I thought the red beans were a bit distracting. I wanted to enjoy the smoothness of the chocolate terrine, but the red beans got in the way! Also, despite being labeled "Dark," it didn't have a strong dark chocolate taste. The Choux Cream (380 yen) was visually stunning, so I bought it (lol). It also had red beans, which interfered with the texture. Chocolate and red beans are a mismatch because the chocolate flavor is overwhelmingly dominant, so I wondered if there was a point in adding red beans. The Sweet Potato Bread (800 yen) is a mini bread about 10 cm in size. It is made with Hokkaido wheat and sweet potato paste, topped with sweet potato sauce, and has an appealing appearance. However, it was a bit difficult to eat because it was sticky. It had a slight sweet potato flavor and was delicious, but it became hard to eat the next morning, so it deteriorates quickly. I might prefer it toasted. They also sell Maritozzo, but it was not available on the day of my visit due to bread improvement. The store just opened on April 20, so they are already making improvements? (lol) I ended up buying too much due to the overwhelmingly appealing visuals, but overall, I felt satisfied after trying them once. It was quite expensive, so it was a painful expense.

On the first floor of Maruyama Class 1F, there is "[2021.04 OPEN] Night Crane, Moon Sweet Potato. Tamatebako, Anshokora." Although the color is completely different, it is actually the first store of the new "Tecchan" series that opened on the 3rd floor, located at President Matsui Building 1F, Nishi 5-jo Nishi 1-chome. However, they do not handle chocolate there. I visited a few days ago in the early afternoon, but everything was sold out. This time, I went in right at the opening time of 10:00, and I was the first one there. By the time I finished shopping, there were about 10 people waiting in line. I purchased the "Thin-skinned baked sweet potato cheese anpan @440" and "Thin-skinned baked sweet potato @400 (tax included)" and "Anshokora that cannot be drawn in a picture," among others. I haven't tried them yet, but I plan to wander around the city for a few hours, so it's inconvenient to carry them, so I decided not to. After dinner, I enjoyed the moist, manju-like sweet potato paste wrapped in a thin skin with a restrained sweetness. The "baked sweet potato cheese" goes perfectly with green tea, with a subtle cheese flavor. It seems like a lot of effort goes into making them, but ideally, I think they should be priced in the 300 yen range per piece. Next time, I'll try the chocolate. Thank you for the meal.

I searched for "melon" on Wolt and found some melon sweets here! I also ordered the sweet potato red bean bun and dorayaki that I've been curious about for a while. - Black sugar warabi mochi latte [Melon Milk]: I like the milky whipped cream on top! The melon is red-fleshed and reminds me of Starbucks' melon (which I love). Personally, I wish there was a bit more melon flavor (the milk is still strong). I didn't really taste the black sugar in the warabi mochi. It was soft and chewy, but I thought the ice would dilute it too much. - Thin-skinned baked sweet potato red bean bun: It's quite heavy and big! I thought it was expensive (although it's more expensive now than before), but it's almost like eating sweet potato, so I think the price is reasonable. It's like eating sweet potato without getting your hands dirty. Heating it makes the skin chewy (only microwaved), and the sweet potato is moist and sticky, almost like it's going to get stuck in your throat (in a good way). I recommend eating it as is (it was refrigerated) + warming it up! - Dorayaki (Raisin red bean butter): The skin is fragrant, maybe they kneaded black sugar into it...? It's sweet and moist. The dorayaki skin alone is delicious. The butter whipped cream is creamy and goes well with the mildly sweet red bean paste. I liked the strong rum flavor from the rum raisins. The sweet dorayaki was delicious, so I'd like to try others as well. They also gave me something extra (which made me happy). However, melon sweets are quite rare... (especially green-fleshed ones are almost non-existent and it's heartbreaking).

I have used this place several times before and it was always delicious. However, due to feeling unwell, I had to take a break and shared the treats with my colleagues. There are various types of dorayaki available, and I highly recommend them. The boss, who usually can't eat dorayaki, enjoyed it here and even said his wife wants to go buy some. He really thought it was delicious! Many people asked me for the name of the shop, and I told them it's "Enzan Kashi Seido on the 1st floor of Maruyama Class." I chose the fresh dorayaki, butter fresh dorayaki, and matcha daisho dorayaki, among others. They also included a lot of baked goods as a service. My mother also wants to try them, so I will definitely go back. Thank you so much. The second and third images are of the chestnut dorayaki I ordered before.
