In the back of the Nikko Hotel building on the 5th floor in Shinsaibashi, there is a restaurant. Upon entering, take off your shoes and you will see a counter on the left side with tatami rooms in the back. It gives off a high-end izakaya vibe. Since it was my first time, I opted for the course menu. It started with steamed abalone, offering a luxurious experience right from the beginning. Then came dishes like blowfish milt with ponzu jelly, hairy crab in white miso, grilled blackthroat seaperch, simmered round radish, whale bacon salad, aged beef rib charcoal grill, grilled rice ball, and clam tea pickles, all of which were exceptional. I was pleasantly surprised as I didn't have high expectations. The atmosphere is bustling like a high-end izakaya, but the taste is authentic. The cost performance is outstanding, and I definitely want to visit this place again.

I was interested in a Japanese restaurant and found it located behind the Nikko Hotel, with easy access from Shinsaibashi Station. The restaurant had a warm atmosphere, offering a range of seating options from counter seats to private rooms. I decided to try the course menu this time and each dish was a luxurious experience with high-quality ingredients. Even though I didn't drink sake, I could imagine how well it would pair with the food. The steamed dish with matsutake mushrooms had a seasonal touch, especially when squeezed with lime. It felt like autumn in every bite. The grilled dish, made with deer meat, was tender and flavorful without any gamey taste. I believe the menu changes with the seasons, so I look forward to visiting again.

I found a wonderful shop in Shinsaibashi. Encounters like this make traveling enjoyable, don't they? I called around 5 pm that day and was told that it would be fine until 7 pm, so I hurried to the shop. The various dishes I had at the counter were all really delicious. Especially the fried fragrant Kyoto eggplant with crab sauce was a perfect combination that spread flavor in my mouth. There were also many types of sake, so I enjoyed my meal. When I left, the staff said, "I'm sorry for rushing you. Please come back and take your time next time." Their thoughtfulness warmed my heart. Thank you for the meal!

Located on the 5th floor of a building right behind ANA, this restaurant requires you to take off your shoes before entering. The seating style is next to the counter due to the tatami rooms being full. Each guest is given their own space. The meal included appetizers, sashimi with squid and sea urchin, grilled pike conger with plum paste, grilled rock oysters, taro with crab sauce, lotus root dumplings, grilled shiitake mushrooms, hairy crab with crab miso sauce, lotus root with plum dressing, smoked cheese with herring roe, homemade potato salad, pickled water eggplant, and corn tempura. The staff was very attentive and the selection of sake was extensive. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

@14000OPA is a Japanese restaurant located about a 2-minute walk away. They serve delicious Japanese cuisine, and their highlight dishes include a Highball with sansho pepper and a sweet potato shochu with sansho pepper. The seasoning balance is great, starting from the appetizers. Their Ichibo steak, sweetfish cooked rice, and ice cream with Japanese sugar are all excellent. It's relatively easy to make reservations here.

I visited this restaurant after several years, and this time I brought someone who loves Japanese food. I remembered that the food and atmosphere were great when I last visited, so I thought they would be satisfied. We wanted to try a variety of dishes this time, so we ordered whatever we wanted. Each dish was of high quality and delicious, and both of us were impressed and had a happy time. Thank you very much.

The pairing course at 14,500 yen is quite cost-effective. The pairing of high-quality alcohol was excellent and all the dishes were delicious. The staff in the restaurant seemed like part-timers, but they made an effort to explain the dishes and alcohol pairings. I highly recommend this place.

I visited a Japanese restaurant called "Mamagotoya," which has been in business for about 40 years ☺️ They offer a seasonal flower course for ¥11,000 per person, using plenty of fresh ingredients. The service is very traditional and you can feel their hospitality spirit. Each dish was absolutely delicious, with the nodoguro sushi being particularly outstanding. It's definitely a place I would like to visit again.

This is a shop near Nikko Hotel in Shinsaibashi. Tonight, I visited with N-san after making a reservation online. We had the omakase course "Hana" for 11,000 yen at the counter seats we reserved in advance. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was good, and we enjoyed 10 dishes including dessert with a highball in hand. It was very delicious, with more content (including volume) than the price. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Urgently decided to go on a solo trip to Osaka. I thought it would be a good idea to have a meal with my friends in Osaka, so I decided on the restaurant "Mamagotoya" a day before. This is a restaurant that I have been interested in for about 10 years. I always thought I would go someday, but 10 years have passed (^-^;) Now, with many other new restaurants opening up, it feels a bit forgotten. So, I easily made a reservation. The restaurant is great for friends with many food preferences as they mainly serve dishes that can be ordered individually. I'm glad I was able to accommodate my friend's picky eating habits. After eating here, we will head to the Minami district. The location is in a dining building behind the Nikko Hotel, on the 5th floor. Upon entering the restaurant, we took off our shoes and were led to a private room. It has a feeling of being suitable for entertaining guests. The menu changes daily, so we chose from the menu of the day. As it is a traditional Japanese restaurant, they are flexible with requests. The prices are not listed as it is a traditional Japanese restaurant. We discussed with the staff and ordered accordingly. The dishes we had included scallops with roe (appetizer), assorted sashimi (horse sashimi, swordfish, sea bream, squid, sea urchin), turtle-shaped dumplings in turtle soup, scallops and raw sea urchin tempura, blowfish sperm sac grilled, squid tempura, lotus root bun, and fried bamboo shoots. After this, we had some drinks, so we stopped here this time. All the dishes were of high quality and tasted delicious. The flavors were rich and pleasing. The restaurant is also flexible with requests and the cost performance is good considering the quality of the food. Overall, it's a very good restaurant and I felt that way as Bonpapa. It's relatively quiet here (*'∀') Perhaps because Osaka has a developed food culture, this area is not as crowded. This restaurant is perfect for solo diners as well. If you happen to be in this area for work, be sure to check it out! I highly recommend this restaurant for those whose needs match. Thank you for the meal.

At night in Osaka, I had a pairing course at Mamageyo in Shinsaibashi. I was impressed by the Tyra Gai with plum vinegar jelly and smoked salmon shavings that came out first. Everything was delicious! I tried to recreate the fried blue cheese at home, but it didn't compare. This course is the best when dining alone.

I went to dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. I made a special request when making the online reservation for dessert to have a message on it, and they prepared a dessert with a message on it for us. The food was delicious, and each dish came out at a good pace, making for a pleasant dining experience. The calm atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect for having a relaxing conversation with loved ones. I would definitely like to visit again.

A calm atmosphere restaurant near Namba Station on the Midosuji Line. We were lucky to have a New Year's kaiseki course in a private room at the back where we could relax and chat. All 10 dishes had a gentle flavor and the portion size was just right. The miso stewed beef tongue was unbelievably tender! The soup made with moon bear and soft-shelled turtle broth was delicious!

This is a restaurant I was recommended by a friend to eat delicious Japanese food just before going abroad. It was far beyond my imagination, it was delicious. They still had matsutake mushrooms in October. I only took three photos, but about 8 dishes came out in the omakase course. It's a restaurant I want to visit regularly.

I have visited Mamagoto-ya, a traditional Japanese restaurant in Shinsaibashi, several times and they always welcome me warmly. The seasoning is delicate and brings out the best flavors of the ingredients. Everything I eat there is delicious. On this day, they even served me a rare Japanese sake. I can feel the attention to detail in the dishes and sake vessels. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The atmosphere was great, and it was nice to be able to enjoy seasonal dishes! Everything was reasonably delicious. I felt uneasy not knowing the prices. I was intrigued by the use of "polite language for part-time workers." They were considerate, dividing the dishes and taking care of us. The floor heating was on. When I ordered a sake called Hakurakusei, a female staff member said, "This sake is my favorite!" in a pleading manner, which I ignored, but it caught my attention.

The venue was reserved exclusively for us, allowing us to enjoy the event without worrying about other customers. Thank you for a fun gathering with laughter and tears. We support your continued success. By the way, the final bill was surprisingly cheap! It was so inexpensive that it seemed like a mistake. The gift expenses were supposed to be split among the organizers, right? The price was mysteriously low, so I might go alone next time (lol). #OsakaJapaneseCuisineHope #TakazonoBirthdayParty #Everyone is using expensive medicine for infection prevention #I have received two vaccine shots and passed the antibody test ===========

It's been a while since I had proper Japanese food! This visit was before the state of emergency. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of a building that looks like a mixed-use building. It's not casual, but it has a clean and neat izakaya-style atmosphere. I sat at the counter, with acrylic dividers separating each seat. I had already booked a course for this day. First, I ordered a drink. They have a wide selection of sake! Cheers with a beer for now. The dishes were served attentively, one by one. - Taiyaki with Tosazu jelly. The texture of the taiyaki is delicious, with a subtle smoky flavor. - Torigai with jelly. Similar to the previous dish. I guess I like shellfish and jelly. - Abalone and sea urchin sushi. I knew this would be delicious even before tasting it. - Sashimi - sea bream, bonito, swordtip squid. Simply good. - Clam in salt water. This is delicious! The plump clams in a refined broth with the umami of kombu add a great flavor. - Amadai. The skin is crispy, and the inside is tender. - Firefly squid chawanmushi. Full of the taste of the sea with seaweed. - Shrimp and young ayu tempura. Oh, the first ayu of the year. I love ayu. - Bamboo shoots and ribeye. Bamboo shoots are in season. The beef is lean but tender with a rich flavor. - Salmon ochazuke. Perfect way to finish the meal. - Black sesame ice cream. Refreshing with a hint of citrus. I forgot to take a picture of the sake (;´∀`) There are so many varieties of sake, so it's a great place for sake lovers. It used to be more focused on Japanese cuisine, but it seemed to have drifted away. However, Japanese food is always good. Thank you for the feast.

The restaurant that I was taken to for a reception had counter seats with sunken kotatsu tables. The course included grilled snow crab and grilled blackthroat seaperch sushi, which were delicious. They had a wide selection of sake and wine. The whale cutlet had a slight odor, but other than that, everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal!
