I visited LeTAO around 2:00 PM on September 12th. There were more foreigners than Japanese in all the shops, and the store was very busy. I bought a Fromage and an Apple Pie. I was surprised by the size of the Apple Pie, and the apples were rich and delicious. The Fromage had a crispy crust and the cheese was rich.

I bought soft serve ice cream and a cheese Danish. The soft serve was delicious, but nothing particularly noteworthy. The cheese Danish had a 24-hour expiration date. It was crispy, with a creamy cheese filling, and very tasty.

This is a store of LeTao, located on the main street of Otaru, selling apple pies. The apple pie I ate here was so delicious that I can't forget it. Eating apple pie while watching the sunset was incredibly tasty. I will definitely go back to buy more!

From the Glass Hall, just off the main street in Otaru, there is a shop called Fromage Danish across from the main store. There are many LeTao shops on this street! I had a Fromage Danish with whipped cream on top. The whipped cream was not too sweet and delicious ❤️ I bought souvenirs at the main store across the street before heading home.

I happened to come across this place and the soft serve ice cream was incredibly rich, the drinks were also very delicious, but the highlight was the third item, the Danish pastry!!! It was truly delicious!!! It had a rich and creamy cheesecake-like flavor. The Danish pastry was crispy and fluffy, and you really should try it! The staff were efficient and I was able to buy without waiting in line!

Here is another report from Otaru (lol). I stopped by "Fromage Danish Deniltao" located across from the main store on the Otaru Sakaimachi shopping street! While the main store was extremely crowded due to the season, I was able to be seated right away at this shop! There were terrace seats in front and on the side of the store! Inside, there were many counter and table seats, and the system was to secure a seat first and then line up to order! This time, I ordered the following: 'Fromage Danish ¥378' and 'Fromage Apple Pie ¥540' along with a drink that came with one of them (lol). It was great that they were baked and kept warm in the store! The pastry had a crispy texture and was filled with rich cheese, which was incredibly delicious! Truly the quality you would expect from LeTAO! The apple pie had Hokkaido apples that were very sweet and incredibly delicious! I quickly finished everything because it was so tasty! I highly recommend this shop too! It was very delicious!! Thank you for the meal.

There is a new cheese-themed shop in Otaru Retao Danchi. I had a cheese Danish for eat-in. They offer a set with two cake items and a drink, which is great when you just want a light snack. Sometimes you only need half a cup of coffee, right? The Danish was crispy and had a nice buttery flavor. The cream inside had a perfect balance of custard and fromage, creating a delicious sweetness. It's not small, but it's so tasty that you finish it in no time. Truly a treat from Retao. But it's a bit of a shame that it's not a local Otaru company. It's a good option for a quick and affordable break.

I couldn't buy the Cheese Fromage Danish when I visited before because it was sold out, but this time I was able to purchase it!! Ordered Fromage Danish for 297 yen. It was delicious as expected! Thank you for the meal (*´ー`*)

I went to Otaru for the first time in a while on the weekend! Tourists have returned, it's so crowded and lively! I had a delicious Uni-don at Furutaira, then took a stroll around Sakaimachi. I gave up halfway due to the crowd of people. Haha~ I had a café latte at a branch of LeTAO and took a break! The café latte was delicious with a rich milk flavor, but even though it was an outdoor terrace seat, it was surprisingly dirty... just sand everywhere! It felt like a typical tourist spot. Sweat.

Recommended was the strawberry, but I ordered the Yubari melon. There was another option, but I forgot. The melon fruit, melon jelly, milk, whipped cream, and ice were delicious. The staff's smile was also nice. There were many Danish pastries, but the cheese tart was sold out.

While walking around Otaru, we stumbled upon LeTAO, a popular spot for a break. My wife wanted a coffee, so she ordered the Fromage and Danish Set with coffee, while I opted for an apple juice. The place was bustling with tourists from overseas, but the service was quick. The Danish pastry had a nice cheesy flavor and was delicious.

This is a crispy and refreshing Danish pastry. It is located about a 15-minute walk from JR Otaru Station, or just a 5-minute walk from JR Minami-Otaru Station. The interior has several table seats and a terrace seat. The menu includes sweets such as Fromage Danish and apple pie. Here is an example of ordering: ★ Fromage Danish The Danish pastry is crispy. The cheese has a sour taste and is not too sweet, making it refreshing. It has a hint of honey in the cream cheese. It's so refreshing that you can easily enjoy it. Thank you for the meal.

There are a few seats inside the store, but there is also an eat-in space. I had soft serve ice cream and a fromage danish. The apple pie also looked delicious, but... The soft serve ice cream was incredibly rich and delicious! Even though it was a cold day, I finished it all. I was too full to eat the fromage danish, so I took it home and had it the next day - and it was still surprisingly delicious. If it's this good, I should have bought more as souvenirs. It might be even tastier if you warm it up. Highly recommended for souvenirs too!

On a certain holiday in Otaru, here is a food review for Fromage Danish Deniltao. I have visited a few times. Here is what I ordered: Fromage Danish and Dolce Pudding Latte set for 950 yen (strawberry milk). I enjoyed it in the eat-in space. The Fromage Danish (3.5) was delicious with rich mascarpone and cream cheese, and the dough was tasty. The strawberry milk (2.5) was very thin, maybe a mistake? Thank you for the meal!

This is a LeTAO Danish pastry shop♡ It is located in front of the main street of Otaru's souvenir street, North One Glass Outlet. Although the variety is not particularly extensive, it still caught my attention. I purchased one out of curiosity since it was my first time trying it out. I wonder if LeTAO Danish pastries are famous?

I came to a popular Letao shop and purchased their signature item, the Fromage Danish, for 297 yen. There was a line of about 10 people, but I was able to enter the shop quickly. The Fromage Danish is a cheese Danish with layers of cream cheese from Hokkaido and mascarpone from Italy on a crispy pastry crust. It was delicious! Definitely worth waiting in line to try it.

On my day off, I came to Otaru and visited Sakaimachi Dori for the first time in a while. As I was exploring the various shops, I stumbled upon this place that I had been curious about since it opened. Luckily, it didn't seem too crowded, so I decided to check it out.
When I entered the shop, most of the seats were taken. I quickly looked at the menu. Normally, I would have ordered the Fromage Danish, but I was intrigued by the Fromage Apple Pie, a limited edition menu item that was released just two months ago in Otaru. I ordered that along with a café latte.
The Fromage Apple Pie is made with Italian Mascarpone and local cream cheese, sandwiched between cream cheese and local apple. The combination of the tangy cream cheese, rich Mascarpone, and sweet apple worked really well together. The pie had a crispy and light texture with a hint of buttery flavor, making it delicious.
This time, I tried the Otaru-exclusive Fromage Apple Pie, but next time, I think I'll try the classic Fromage Danish. Thank you for the meal!

I suddenly stumbled upon a delicious-looking apple pie during my visit to Otaru. It turns out it's a new item since February, but I tried it in April, so it's not really new anymore. The pie is made with cheese cream, not custard cream as I thought, and it's so finely crumbled that it's a bit challenging to eat neatly. The apples inside are crunchy, and the pie crust is thin and crispy. I wish they provided a knife and fork because it's a bit difficult to eat on the go. I also tried their melon soda, which was refreshing and easy to drink. The place was not very crowded, so I hope the staff pays more attention to cleaning and maintaining the tables after customers leave. Overall, it was a nice surprise to discover this apple pie at a popular shop. Thank you, Wu-ta!

"The Fromage Danish at ¥297 was exceptional. This place stood out among the rest as a specialty Danish shop. The outside of the shop had a delightful aroma, and the freshly baked Fromage Danish was simply amazing. It's something you can only taste here, right? I want everyone to try this. The Danish pastry was so crispy that it easily crumbled, with a warm and rich cheese filling in the middle. Cheese lovers will definitely love it. It disappeared in an instant, and I think you could easily eat multiple pieces. *Visited on a weekday around 10:30 am, no waiting time, no lines. Payment method: PayPay. Thank you for the meal!"

Around Lake Inawashiro, the migration of swans heading north for the winter is in full swing. On the 16th, a group heading towards northeastern Russia was seen reluctantly taking off from Lake Inawashiro. Hello! It's Takumon, who also wants to take off like the swans (?) ☻ Today, we have here the "Fromage Danish Deniltao" located about a 5-minute walk from Minami-Otaru Station. This store opened in April 2018 as a specialty shop for Fromage Danish under the new brand LeTAO, which is a confectionery shop originating from Otaru. The name is a combination of the initials of "La Tour Amitié Otaru" in French, meaning "Beloved Tower of Otaru," with an affectionate twist on the name of Otaru. When read backwards, it becomes "LeTAO"! I visited on a weekend afternoon during my Otaru tour, the 11th stop. Still out for a stroll. Oh, it's LeTAO. I like this place too. It's interesting that this place is only found in Hokkaido, right? When you come to Otaru, be sure to visit this shop. Oh, there's also LeTAO Otaru across the street. What's this Fromage Danish Deniltao? It looks delicious. They even have some fresh ones. I was thinking of buying one, but unfortunately, they were sold out. I bought an apple pie instead. I had it for breakfast the next day. It was delicious. I hope to try the one that was sold out next time. Thank you for the meal. Takumon passing by. Cheers♪
