There aren't many places around here to have dinner set meals at night. Even chain restaurants feel uncertain after 8 pm. The impact of the ongoing pandemic is still affecting businesses, causing them to close early. I'm in the mood for a set meal! Meat, vegetables, fish, grilled dishes, fried dishes, simmered dishes... Set meals and bento boxes are a wonderland of food variety. This place is known for its fried chicken set meal, but I've already tried that before, so I want to try something else this time. Oh, they also have pork cutlet and fillet cutlet. Hmm, what about shumai? That looks interesting too. But I feel like trying a little bit of everything! So, I've decided on the mixed fry set meal. After a short wait, it arrives with a lineup of... fillet cutlet, shrimp fry, crab claw, cream croquette, oyster fry, stir-fried pork and vegetables, menma, salad, pickles, and miso soup. There's a lot of pork on the plate this day. The fry includes shrimp and crab claws, but the fillet cutlet was a surprise. It's juicy. And to my surprise, there's oyster fry. Usually, mixed fry dishes include vegetables or salmon, but this mix is unique. It doesn't feel like a premade meal, and the coating is not too thick or the filling too sparse, so it's satisfying to eat. With plenty of sauce and tartar sauce for the fry, I enjoyed soaking them up. The salad has small but tasty roast beef, and thick menma... Overall, I was satisfied with the diverse selection of this set meal once again.
