Takeout-only shop specializing in sweets and food made with waffles, which have been popular and trendy for the past 1-2 years. The shop is located on the main road 275 from Sapporo, at the entrance of a town by the river. There is a small dining area with tables outside the shop. I visited around 12 PM on July 29, 2023. The shop is a bit hidden but stands out with its purple building. I ordered an iced coffee for 200 yen, which was a good deal. The coffee, made with espresso machine, was refreshing and worth more than its price. I usually can't have pastries or sweets while cycling, but I might come back for another coffee in the future.

I went to "SPLASH" that I missed last August when I visited in early September last year. The menu was a bit confusing, but I ended up ordering the "Waffle Soft Cream" with chocolate sauce topping options including chocolate, strawberry, caramel, and red bean. It took a little time to make the waffle after ordering. The waffle was made with rice flour, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The soft cream had a gentle milk flavor and was delicious. It was hot, so I chose the waffle soft cream, but I would like to try the caramel nut waffle next time! They also had meal waffles on the menu. "SPLASH" is located in Tobetsu-cho, Sachi-cho 226, and is open from 11:00 to 17:00. Closed on Mondays, Sundays, and holidays (closed during the winter season).
