The closest Lawson convenience store from Date Monbetsu Station. I realized there was no food to eat on the limited express train when heading home on the last train. No shops were open...and I don't have time to eat at a izakaya (Japanese pub) before heading home. So, I decided to quickly buy something at Lawson. I got a big grilled salmon belly on rice. Even though I didn't warm it up, the rice was fluffy and the salmon belly was fatty and plentiful. Can't underestimate convenience store onigiri. It's better than the salmon onigiri I make myself. For dessert, I got Lawson Select thick-cut beef jerky. It's thick and the taste gets stronger the more you chew. It's quite spicy and delicious. I love beef jerky. Thank you for the meal. Can't underestimate convenience store food...I enjoyed my meal. However, I should have done my shopping earlier when traveling...lesson learned.
