Soup curry restaurant located on the first floor near the entrance of Maruyama Park in the Maruyama area. I visited this place for dinner as I was in the Maruyama Park area for some errands. There is no dedicated parking lot, so I parked at a nearby coin parking lot. The interior of the restaurant has counter seats and table seats, resembling a stylish cafe. It was quite late, but there were many customers, indicating its popularity. Orders are placed using a tablet provided at the table. There were about 10 types of curry available, but this time I ordered the most popular "Crispy PICA Chicken (1,330 yen)" with "Mandala" soup and spiciness level "Awakening (2.5)". You can choose from three types of soup (38 Billion Years Wind, Mandala, Ayurveda Herbal Medicine) and spiciness level above "Phantom (3.0)" incurs an additional charge, as well as a size-up for rice. It was ready in about 10 minutes. As shown in the photo, the chicken leg is served in a unique dish to prevent it from sinking into the soup. The Mandala soup might feel a bit light for those who prefer thick soups, but it has a delicious taste with umami and richness. The spiciness level "Awakening" didn't feel too spicy for me, so I recommend upgrading to a higher level for those who like spicy food. The chicken leg had a crispy texture on the outside and was tender inside, pairing well with the Mandala soup. The other ingredients were also well-cooked and delicious, making it an overall high-quality soup curry. The most popular soup is the rich and flavorful "38 Billion Years Wind," but I prefer the light Mandala soup. The prices may seem a bit high, but I recommend it to soup curry lovers.

Hokkaido is known for its seafood, Genghis Khan (grilled lamb), ramen, and gourmet delights. The only thing I had never tried before was soup curry. I visited a soup curry restaurant near the entrance of Maruyama Zoo. I ordered the most popular dish, "Crispy PICA Chicken." Since it was my first time, I went with the recommended "38 Billion Years Wind" soup, level 1 spiciness, and regular rice. There was a note saying that each dish is made to order, so it may take some time. It can take 30 to 40 minutes during busy times. I had time to spare, so I patiently waited. Looking at the menu, I realized I might not be able to resist the hunger if I had come on an empty stomach. Finally, 30 minutes later, my meal arrived. The colorful vegetables and the big piece of chicken looked delicious. I took a bite of the curry. It was my first time trying soup curry, and it was delicious. I only had the image of "watery curry," but it was not like that at all. It was a bit oily, but the chicken had a crispy skin and juicy meat. It seemed like I could get full with just this one dish. There were plenty of carrots, bell peppers, potatoes, burdock, eggplant, and more. With such a generous portion, I could have been satisfied with just half the rice. I finished it in no time. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at around 12 o'clock and was seated immediately. The sign at the table mentioned that it would take about 20 minutes after ordering, but the food arrived almost on time! The plates had a unique shape which made it easier to cut the vegetables and meat with a knife, making it easy to eat. It was also nice that you could choose the level of spiciness! There were plenty of vegetables, so those with smaller appetites may find that they need less rice, or even none at all (*≧∀≦*)

Fish fry and chikuwa tempura soup curry. The daily special was like a nori bento, so I decided to try it. It was not crowded around 1 pm on weekdays. Oh, I also added broccoli. And of course, the nori bento. The fish fry goes well with it. I wish they had regular soy sauce. The chikuwa tempura is also good. The broccoli is exceptionally delicious. Thank you for the meal. It's consistently delicious.

I always passed by Enzan Park and was curious, so I finally went in today. I tried various Hokkaido soup curries, but I found Pikanti's soup to be oily and I didn't like how the vegetables were fried.

Daily curry (Zangi) at Maruyama Park. I've been to the Pikanti near Hokkaido University before. I went a little later because it was a weekday, and it was quite empty. I decided to try the daily Zangi for lunch. The Zangi came on a bed of rice. This way, I could eat the Zangi as a side dish with the white rice. The hot Zangi was delicious. The curry had chunks of carrots, eggplant, bell peppers, burdock, potatoes, and quail eggs. It was also tasty. The dish came with a plate with a protrusion in the center. Oh, I remember now. It's hard to eat from. In the end, I couldn't mix the Zangi into the curry and just finished it as is. Thank you for the meal. It's close by and delicious. They accept PayPay.

Today, after work, I went to Picante with my first junior colleague to get some vegetables. The restaurant was relatively empty as it was still early for dinner. We ordered the vegetable curry (herbal, level 2 spicy, normal rice) we were looking for. The dish arrived in just 10 minutes. It was a vegetable-packed soup curry as described on the menu. The curry was full of carrots, okra, bell peppers, boiled cabbage, eggplant, broccoli, potatoes, shiitake mushrooms, corn (is corn a vegetable?), and more. It was so delicious and filling that we were satisfied with just the vegetables.

I went to Pikanti near Maruyama Park Station and it was my first time in a while. The soup curry bowl had grooves to separate the ingredients, making it easy to eat. The crispy chicken was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it went well with the rich soup. It was delicious, I enjoyed my meal at Pikanti!

On the way from Hokkaido Maruyama Park to Maruyama Zoo, I found a soup curry specialty restaurant. It was a touch panel ordering system, giving off a chain restaurant vibe. It seems like there are about three branches in Hokkaido. The Sapporo branch is usually crowded, but this one was quite empty. The unique feature of this restaurant is that you can choose the type of soup. I went with the most popular one, "38 Billion Years of Wind." I ordered the Chicken Leg Soup Curry for ¥1,220. The spicy soup was filled with chunky ingredients, and the meat was so tender it fell apart easily with chopsticks. It was a delicious meal. (As of September '22, rating: 3.15 stars)

The restaurant has a large counter with 6 seats, more than 15 tables with partitions, and a spacious atmosphere. Orders are placed through a touch panel. It might be your first time trying soup curry. The vegetable and spiciness levels are customizable, and the rice is average. It was my first time at Pikanti in a while, but the taste was consistently delicious. The soup is plentiful, and the vegetables are fresh and tasty. If you're looking to eat soup curry in Sapporo, I think you'll be satisfied with this place. It's also easy to stop by when visiting the Jingu area. Thank you for the meal!

I visited this soup curry restaurant on my way back from Hokkaido Shrine for a late New Year's visit. I arrived after 1 pm and was able to get in easily, probably because of the heavy snowfall the day before. I was impressed by the touch panel ordering system, which was my first time experiencing it at a soup curry restaurant. It was convenient, especially in these times. I ordered the tender garlic lamb curry with a spice level of "Perception's Door" and "38 Billion Years of Wind" soup. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The soup was oily and piping hot, rich but not heavy. The lamb was well-seasoned and delicious on its own or dipped in the curry. The vegetables were large and juicy, lightly coated in oil. I look forward to trying the crispy Pikachu Chicken next time. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Located just a few minutes' walk from Maruyama Koen Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Tozai Line, near the entrance to Maruyama Park. After entering the entrance and undergoing temperature checks and alcohol disinfection, I was guided to an available seat. Orders are placed using a touch panel. I chose the "Mandara" soup from the three available options. I wanted to try lamb, so I ordered the "Mandara Lamb Garlic Yaki". The spiciness level was 2, and the rice arrived in about 10 minutes. The main lamb meat was served in a pot. The lamb had a good flavor, and I was happy with the generous amount of lamb meat. The soup was light and the level 2 spiciness was slightly spicier than expected, but it had just the right amount of spiciness to enhance the deliciousness. The vegetables included potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, quail eggs, kabocha squash, asparagus, green beans, and pumpkin, all cooked to perfection with a delightful flavor. The bell peppers seemed to be lightly fried, with a slightly crunchy texture. The portion size was satisfying, and I left feeling very full. The "Mandara Lamb Garlic Yaki" cost 1,595 yen including tax. By registering for the Picante Line, you may receive occasional discounts or offers.

It was a Sunday perfect for curry lunch, but everywhere we tried to go was either full, closed, or relocated, so we ended up here. Being a lunch refugee can be tiring. #Quickly PICA Chicken, spiciness level 2, rice less. It was supposed to be pork bone based and I was expecting it to be rich, but it lacked depth and was very oily, so it was just okay. The vegetables also lacked sweetness, so I ended up leaving the carrots. They have thorough COVID-19 measures in place! You can even order from a tablet, which is amazing. However, since there is no parking lot, it might be difficult to come here often.

Premier Matsutake mushrooms for August 2021 at 1298 yen (plus 110 yen for extra spiciness). Located near Maruyama Park, this is the fourth store of Picante. No parking available, but you can manage with shopping. Orders are taken on tablets, with spacious seating for a relaxing experience. Not in the mood for meat, so I tried the local specialty, "Premier Matsutake" with half rice, same price but beautifully presented! The soup was Mantra, not too light, with a good balance of umami and richness. Chose level 3 spiciness, "Phantom" (110 yen), and it was just right. The five Piquin peppers added a decent kick when crushed. The Matsutake mushrooms were thick and had a great texture. The vegetables were cooked perfectly with a nice crunch. The rice had turmeric and was cooked just right, complementing the soup well. The main store has a more casual vibe, while this one in Picante is more elegant. Both have their charms, and I enjoyed the meal. Thank you for the feast!

On my first visit, I checked out a new soup curry restaurant that opened nearby and it seems like they have several locations in Sapporo. They offer a choice between two types of soup: "38 Billion Years" and "Mandala," which is a medicinal soup. I ordered the classic chicken curry with crispy topping. It was delicious, but I felt like it lacked a strong distinguishing feature. I wish it had a bit more spiciness.

I visited a popular soup curry restaurant that opened near my house. I went there around 1 pm on Saturday and luckily got in without waiting. Normally, I order pork or vegetable soup curry, but the crispy chicken looked delicious... However, I find it hard to eat chicken with bones, but they had boneless chicken on the menu. I quickly ordered boneless chicken. I added extra spiciness to the original soup for an additional 220 yen (Pikkīnu 10 pieces). After waiting for 10 minutes, my order arrived. The chicken I was looking forward to was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The soup was rich and flavorful. I will definitely come back again.

"Pikanti's 4th location in the city is in front of the main entrance on the east side of Maruyama Park at Maruyama Park Building 1F, which opened on June 28, 2021. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon just after 1 pm, but unfortunately, it was full. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we were seated at a table near the entrance with two people. The interior of the restaurant had a counter and three tables for four people, as well as one table for six people. We placed our order using a tablet, with three types of soup available and six levels of spiciness ranging from 1 to 5, with additional charges for levels 2.5, 3, 4, and 5. We ordered the 'Crispy PICA Chicken @ 1,320' with '38 Billion Years Wind' soup at level 2 spiciness and regular rice, along with two beers priced at 490 each. We actually planned to visit another curry restaurant after this, so we opted for a smaller portion. After a 9-minute wait, our food arrived. The dish included chicken, carrots, potatoes, eggplant, bell peppers, burdock, and quail. The special dish was designed to prevent the crispy chicken from getting soggy in the soup. The crispy chicken was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and tender texture. The potatoes were subtly sweet, almost like sweet potatoes, and the carrots tasted fresh. The soup had a good balance of flavors, with a strong umami taste from the broth. The rice was cooked just right and complemented the soup well. It had been about 10 years since my last visit to Pikanti, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious Sukhare I had. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience at Pikanti. Thank you for the meal!"

Welcome.---------- June 2021 ----------A new restaurant has opened in the area near Odori West 28-chome, along Odori Park near the east entrance of Maruyama Park~|o| °д°)ノ|YugachonNext to "Ajino Su Maruyama," they have created a vibrant space with 6 counter seats, 4 spacious tables, and touch panel screens at each seat. It seems like we are in the era of touch technology now... They also offer takeout and delivery services. The restaurant's recommended dishes are the "Wind of 3.8 Billion Years." It's been a while since I last visited, and the soup has definitely improved. Since it's the Year of the Ox, I ordered the "Garlic-grilled Lamb" along with "Beef Tendon" and "Pork with Skin." The soup was the "Ayurveda Herbal Medicine" with a spiciness level of 4, labeled as "Infinite."The "Wind of 3.8 Billion Years" had a strong broth flavor with tender lamb and a garlic accent. The beef tendon was jelly-like and the pork with skin was sticky and rich with the sweetness of black sugar. The dish also included vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, eggplant, bell peppers, and quail eggs. The herbal medicine soup had a strong spiciness that gradually builds up and leaves a spicy aftertaste. It's recommended to add more spiciness if you prefer. The green beans looked like okra and I almost mistook them for it. There were supposed to be 10, but there were only 5...

I stopped by for lunch at the Hokkaido Jingu after visiting my parents' house. I tried the most popular soup, which was also the spiciest. Hmm, it's delicious. The simmered chicken was also very good. The location is great and customers keep coming in. Thank you for the meal!

I always order takeout from this restaurant because I use it frequently. However, when I ordered two types of soup, they mixed up the contents. When I called to let them know, I was simply told "sorry" and the call was ended. It's a shame because it's a restaurant I really like.
